Unlock Luso from FFTA2
Go to the Zekalus Desert after the Orbonne Monastery battles in Chapter 3. Once there, watch the FMV and complete the following battle.
Unlock Balthier from FFXII
1. When you reach Chapter 4, head to The Mining Town of Gollund.
2. Check the "Rash of Thefts" rumor from the tavern.
3. Drop by The Merchant City of Dorter's tavern and read the "A Call for Guards" rumor.
4. Leave town, and you'll enter a battle.
5. Win with assistance from Balthier, and he'll join the party
Job Classes
To unlock the following job classes, you must reach certain levels on other
job classes:

| Bard | Become a level 4 Summoner and level 4 Mediator |
| Calculator | Become a level 4 Priest, level 4 Wizard, level 3 Oracle, and level 3 Time Mage. |
| Dancer | Become a level 4 Lancer and level 4 Geomancer |
| Geomancer | Become a level 3 Monk |
| Knight | Become a level 2 Squire |
| Lancer | Become a level 3 Thief |
| Mediator | Become a level 2 Oracle |
| Mime | Become a level 8 Squire, level 8 Chemist, level 4 Summoner, level 4 Mediator, level 4 Lancer, and level 4 Geomancer |
| Monk | Become a level 2 Knight |
| Ninja | Become a level 3 Archer, level 4 Thief, and level 2 Geomancer |
| Oracle | Become a level 2 Priest |
| Priest | Become a level 2 Chemist |
| Samurai | Become a level 3 Knight, level 4 Monk, and level 2 Lancer |
| Summoner | Become a level 2 Time Mage |
| Thief | Become a level 2 Archer |
| Time Mage | Become a level 2 Wizard |
| Wizard | Become a level 2 Chemist |
Secret characters
There are five secret characters that can be attained in the game, six if
you count the two forms of Reis. The following list shows how to get them
all. NOTE: You must have Mustadio in your party to get all of the secret
characters, and all of these characters are acquired in Chapter 4.
| Unlock | How to Unlock: |
| Beowulf | Read the rumors at Goland, go to Lesalia, then agree to accompany Beowulf to Goland. After a series of plot battles, he joins the party. |
| Biblos | Acquired after clearing all ten levels of the Deep Dungeon. |
| Cloud | After returning Reis to human form, go to Goug. Cloud will run off to Zarghidas after a scene. After clearing Igros, go to Zargidas and win the fight. |
| Dragon Reis | Accompany Beowulf through Goland Coal City; Reis is rescued during the final battle in the series. |
| Human Reis | Read the rumors at Zeltennia, buy a flower in Zarghidas, then return to Goug. This unlocks a battle in Zeltennia, and Reis takes human form afterward. |
| Luso | In Chapter 3, go to the Zekalus Desert after the Orbonne Monastary battles. After the intermission sequence, win the battle, and Luso will join your party |
| Worker 8 | After rescuing Reis from Goland, return to Goug Machine City. Worker 8 joins the party after a small scene. |
See Monster Before It's Birth
On the editing screen, put an egg in the bottom row. Place the cursor on top
and press right or left slowly or rapidly. You should be able to get a
glimpse of fhe monster's face that's going to be born.
Unlock Sound Test
Start a new game and enter your name as "PolkaPolka" you will than be taken to a sound test menu.
Agrias and the Lip-Rouge Item
Make sure that you still have Lavian and Alicia (Agrias' guards from Chapter 1) still in your party in Chapter 4. Land on a
City on Cancer I and you will see a cutscene where an embarrased Mustadio gives a birthday gift to Agrias. You will now have
the lip-rouge which is a great stat-boosting accessory for female characters.
