How to Unlock |
| Alternate Models in Model Viewer | In Model Viewer, choose Arthur, Dante, or Phoenix. Once their model shows up, press the Select button to switch to alternate models for each of the characters. They also have alternate colors that can be viewed by pushing the "x" button. |
| Deadpool Special Tag In | Hold Taunt while tagging in Deadpool and something special will occur. |
| Quick Reset in Training Mode and Mission Mode | In either mode press Start + Select which will reset you to the middle of screen. Start + Select + Right/Left will reset you to the corner on the Right/Left side (training mode only). Any of the above commands + holding down Assist 1 or 2 will reset in the desired location with one of your other party members. |
| Start match as 2nd or 3rd Character | During the Versus or Loading Screen, press and hold the Partner 1 or Partner 2 button to start the match as one of your other characters. |
| Switch assist position | If you hold Partner 1+ Partner 2 buttons before the match starts, your assist characters will be swapped. |
Change costumes
At the character selection screen press X, Square, Triangle or R1 when choosing a fighter for different costumes. Yoy can choose four different costumes.
Unlock Characters
To unlock each of these characters simply gained the required number of
player points and the characters will be unlocked in your game when you return
to the main menu. Player points are gained in all of the various modes of play
however arcade mode and online accrue points the quickest. Player points are
often designated as PP. Points add onto each other so the total require points
for all 4 unlockables characters is 8000.

Easy "Herculean Task" Trophy
Set the game to the Very Hard difficulty setting, 30 second time
limit, and damage on highest. Choose Task Master with Aim Master Assist,
Chris with Gunshot Assist and Dr Doom with Plasma Beam Assist. Keep
using the projectiles from the corner to win every match. When you reach
Galactus, activate X-Factor and do a Hyper Crossover Combo to knock off
a decent amount of health. He will hit you before you are done. At this
point, fight him as you would normally.
Easy "Female Flyers" trophy
Win a match with Storm, Phoenix, and Morrigan as your team.
Easy "Badds To The Bone" trophy
Win a match with Rad Spencer, Iron Man and M.O.D.O.K. as your team.
Easy "Avengers Assemble" trophy
Win a match with Iron Man, Captain America and Thor as your team.
Easy "Weapon X" trophy
Win a match with Deadpool, Wolverine and X-23 as your team.
Swap assist character positions
Hold [Partner 1] + [Partner 2] before a match begins.
Start with third team member
Hold [Partner 2] during the "Vs." or loading screens to start the
match as your second team member.
Start with second team member
Hold [Partner 1] during the "Vs." or loading screens to start the
match as your second team member.
Secret moves for characters
THOR hold heavy and aerial this will charge up the power
meter while you are giving your speech
CAPTAIN AMERICA press heavy and aerial at the same time
this lets you somersault past your enemy
DR DOOM press back and heavy at the same time this will
fire hidden missiles
AMATERASU press down, down+ light or medium or heavy to
change your stance
WESKER press downforward+ heavy this teleports you when
pressed twice
