Begin match with Partner
To begin a match or round with the second character you’ve picked, hold down the Tag button and then press Start before the match begins.

Fight As Devil Jin

How to change unknowns fighting style
You can change Unknown's fighting style by pressing either R1, R2, L1 or L2. If you change the use of l1, l2, R1 and R2 in option mode, you can still change her fighting style but pressing, not pushing to the left or right, the right analog stick. Submitted by gokitomo678x

New Costume for Law
To get a new costume for Law, simply beat the game with him once. Then, when you select him again after beating the game with him press start. He will have a sport of leopard-skin one piece suit on. Note that before you beat the game with him, this will not work.

More costumes
While highlighting a player press L1 and then your character should be different looking.( This code may only work with some but most people).

New Costumes for some Characters
To get new costumes for some characters, first go to the player select menu. Then, choose a player and press start. If that player already has a "start" costume, then they will appear. If you choose a player and they do not come up, all you have to do is beat the game with that player and then when you try start again it will work.

Different Costumes
To be original costumes from Tekken 3 or Tekken 2 of the characters, press RIGHT PUNCH or RIGHT KICK. For some characters, you can be other costumes by pressing START or TAG. Tekken Tag Tournament costumes are by pressing LEFT PUNCH and LEFT KICK.

Play As Gold Tetsujin
To play as gold Tetsujin select Tetsujin as you normally would and win 10 matches in a row against another player and on win 11 tetsujin will be gold rather than silver.

Fight as Heihachi
Beat arcade without losing in less than 5 minutes, 30 seconds.

Sibling Rivalry:
Put Anna and Nina on teams then after you win every round Nina will Break anna's leg.

Knuckle Nuggie:
In arcade put Lee first and Heihachi second when the fight starts Heihachi will be giving Lee a knuggie

Play as Angel
To play as Angel, press Start when selecting Devil. Angel is special in because she will get Netsu powerups, Devil won't.

Play as Devil
To use Devil Jin, you must have Heihachi as Jin's partner. When using him in the match, press Back + right and left punch, rp, rp, then left kick. He should be surrounded with purple lightning for a long period of time.

Play as Mokujin/Tetsujin
To select Mokujin/Tetsujin, go to the bottom row of the selection screen (the one that has Wang, P. Jack, Devil/Angel, the Ogres, and Roger/Alex). Put the selection box over Alex/Roger, the move right, and in an invisible box is Mokujin/Tetsujin. Like in Tekken 3, the computer selects which character Mokujin will imitates. But now if you play as Mokujin, tag out, wait about 15 seconds, tag in and the character that Mokujin imitates will change to another one. Mokujin has 3 costumes, a wood male Moku, a wood female Moku and a metal Moku (Its name is Tetsujin).

Play as Doctor Boskonovitch
Get the top score in Tekken Bowl mode.

Play as Tiger
To play as Tiger, choose Eddy Gordo at the character selection screen and press Start.

Best Move Ever
When playing as Hwoarwang, get your opponent down to just below zero energy. Then press down on the L3 stick and press Triangle Square Square Triangle Circle Up and witness the best move ever!

Double Team Moves
Jin + Ling Xiayou
Make Xiayou do "So Shoe Me" and hammer tag during it to make Jin do a Stone Head
Ling Xiayou + Panda
Make Xiayou do "So Shoe Me" and hammer tag during it to make Panda do a Bearhug
Gun Jack + Bryan Fury
Make Gun Jack do the Megaton Uppercut, then tag and press forward, forward triangle to do the stomach smash throw
Kazuya Mishima + Jin Kazama
Make Kazuya do the Axe Kick then press tag and Jin will run in and do another axe kick.
Devil + Kazuya
Heaven's Door
This is a double team move but you don't have to press tag. It is in Devil's move list.
P. Jack + Gun Jack
Double Foot Stomp
Press X + Circle and hammer tag while the Jack is in the air. The other will run in and do another foot stomp. If done right.

Law: forward + triangle, square, tag

Really Cool Tag
For those fans of Devil/Angel here is a neat trick. Choose Devil and Kazuya as one team. When you start the match you will only see one character, but when you tag, whoever you choose to start first will be covered in electricity and turns into the other character.

Tag Grab
Press RP + TAG at the same time to do a tag grab

Gallery mode
Unlock Devil to access Gallery mode.

Tekken Bowl mode
Unlock Ogre to access Tekken Bowl mode.

Theater mode
Successfully complete the game once to unlock Theater mode.

Bonus characters
Successfully complete arcade mode with any character to unlock one of the hidden characters. Another character will be unlocked each time the game is completed, in the following order: Kunimitsu, Bruce Irvin, Jack-2, Lee Chaolan, Wang Jinrey, Roger & Alex, Kuma & Panda, Kazuya Mishima, Ogre, True Ogre, Prototype Jack, Mokujin & Tetsujin, Devil & Angel, and Unknown.

Fight as Unknown
Unknown is the last character to become available after you have released all other characters. She has both of her arcade outfits for you to choose. In regular Arcade Mode (with tag) you team up Unknown with anybody else and she will change styles every time you tag out, much like Mokujin. Unlike Mokujin however Unknown can change who she mimics by pushing down the R3 analog button on the dual shock controller. When playing in 1 on 1 Mode you can once again change who Unknown mimics with the R3 analog button. This rather fun to try and launch an opponent, change characters and finish the combo as someone else

Pro Moves
If you chose Gun Jack as one of your people you can knock the other player out In one go. On the command screen search for debugger. When you do it keep on going around and you will hear a voice that will say 1,2,3,4,5 when it gets to 5 press square. This will knock them out immediately.
If you chose Yoshimitsu as one of your people there is a move that takes away most of there life. You do this by pressing back back square. This move takes time so do a normal X kick and do the move. Another move which is like this move is almost unblock able. Before Yoshimitsu stabs you press another square.
If you chose Devil as one of your people don't use inferno, devil blaster or reverse devil blaster against any of the Jacks as they go crazy and take a bit if life away from you

Jukebox
Reach 200 pts in Bowl Mode to open the jukebox to choose the background music

Armor King's new costume
Once you've finished the game with Armor King, you can get the costume he uses in his ending by pressing start.

Unknown
Once you unlock "unknown" and use her as a character press R3 to chose what type of fighting style she imitates

Angel FMV sequences
Successfully complete arcade mode with her. (Press Start to select).

Devil FMV sequences
Select Devil with Square, Triangle, X, or Select and successfully complete arcade mode with him. 

Eddy FMV sequences
Successfully complete arcade mode once as Eddy after choosing him with Circle, Square, Triangle, or X at the character selection screen. 
Then complete arcade mode again after choosing him with Start at the character selection screen. Note: He always has to be first player

Automatic lower parry
While fighting with any character, press Down/Forward to do a lower parry.

Ling FMV sequences
To view two FMV sequences featuring Ling, successfully complete arcade mode as Ling, and complete it again in her school costume.

Pick Unknown & Tetsujin after earning them
When you earn Unknown And Tetsujin (Mokujin) you can't find there choice blocks on the character select screen and that's because their hidden.
For unknown its to the left of Roger and Alex's block. For Tetsujin it's to the left of Wang's block.

Start match with second character selected
Hold Tag and press Start.

Super charger
While fighting with any character, press all buttons to do a super charger.

Automatic lower parry  
While fighting with any character, press Down/Forward to do a lower parry. 

Escape backflip
While fighting with most characters, press Up/Back to do an escape backflip.

Start with other tag member
Before the round starts hold the tag button and you will start with the second player you picked.

Change Unknown's fighting style
First you have to unlock unknown by playing the game, then pick her. While in a fight press the R3 button that is push the Right Stick in. You will see her change styles (i.e. Yoshimitsu with sword).

The forever combo of Jun
First press square + circle then triangle then square then circle 3 times and then do it over again without stopping. It works great in Survival mode

Get a very high score in survival mode
First pick Jun and True Ogre. Then do Jun's forever combo. When her life is halfway empty switch to True Ogre and press forward forward triangle.

XIaoyu's green costume
In theatre mode highlight Xiaoyu and press R1

The beauty of sidestep
First you run to an enemy. Then the enemy will attack or stay still, either way do a sidestep then carry the enemy by pressing square + x or triangle + circle

Hint
When you go to Eddie's or the Devil's picture, when picking a fighter press start and you get Tiger (Eddie) or Angel (devil) (you have to unlock these fighters first).
When you unlock all the fighters you can take pictures during any fight.

See other victory dances
When you win before it says "You win" press Square, Circle, Triangle, or X and you will see the character's different victory dances. Note: Some characters only have two (2) dances. Note 2: The CPU usually does the X dance. Note 3: The dance that the CPU rally does is the Triangle dance

At the main menu, highlight "Practice Mode", then hold L2 and press R2 the indicated number of times to select the corresponding stage:

Special Kazuya-Devil Tag
If you choose Kazuya as your first player and Devil as second you can transform Kazuya into Devil!!! This is very COOL!!!

K.O. the Crowd
In Tekken Bowl mode, if you bowl hard over to the right or left of the screen you should be able to K.O the people who are watching you, this cheat is totally useless but it is fun to see.

Attack-tag for Yoshimitsu

Bowl Mode
To get the Bowl Mode, you must release 10 hid-den characters. As you can guess, you have to play the old fashion way. Each character has different characteristics. One goes slower and the other goes faster, etc. to give advice, Michelle and Julia would be some of the good bowlers. They are a little slow, which gives you a better setup.

Easy Way to Get Ending Videos
This isn't a cheat but a very cool way to get all the videos. Before anything else go to the "options" menu, and make sure that whenever you lose a match you get to pick your characters over again. Ok now your set, now pick your two favorite characters or characters that you know all of the moves too, and get all the way to the final battle, lose this battle on purpose, you should get to pick your characters over again. Now make sure that whoever you pick first that will be the video that you get. Do this over and over again until you get all the videos.

New Outfit for Armor King
First finish the game using Armor King. Then go to the character selection screen, highlight him and press start.

Unknown
Once you unlock "unknown" and use her as a character press R3 to chose what type of fighting style she imitates.

Keep Eddy Going
When fighting with Eddie do some of his on the ground moves then press back, away form your opponent and then quickly press forward towards your opponent and then continue with the move that want to do next.

99 Hit Combo
Here's a little glitch in practice mode. First, choose Eddy as your first character (second character doesn't matter). Then select Eddy as your opponents first character. When the game starts, just hit your opponent without knocking him down. The combo meter will keep on going until it reaches 99 hit combo.

Back That "Thang" Up:
If you choose Heihachi and Lee for tag characters, you will see as their starting pose Heihachi spanking Lee!

Player Hints
YOSHIMITSU: If you have chosen to pick Yoshimitsu, at the start of the fight I would advise you to press X, they opponent will fall down and you have enough time to do your killer move. Once they've fallen down press BACK, then HOLD BACK and press SQUARE, this should be done quickly and on time. You should see his sword backing up and powering up, then it should stab the opponent and they should be KO or nearly KO. Another good move to try on annoying women or Panda/Akuma is to hold DOWN and press together X and CIRCLE, he should meditate and restore most energy, then when the opponent reaches you at a very close position press LEFT/RIGHT, you should spin and vanish behind them. Quickly press a HOLD move and this move is likely to be the SPINNING PILEDRIVER, this also does allot of damage depending on the opponent.

ROGER/ALEX: If you have chosen to be him a very good move is the 'SPECIAL PUNCH' (not the proper name.) Just keep on moving back, because it takes long and press the following, BACK, HOLD BACK and then SQUARE. You should see the arms swing backwards and power up. Then the opponent should fall for it and run towards you. Once he reaches you the move should have already been executed and you should see the opponent on the floor and his energy 3/4 gone. 

An easy high damaging combo for Michelle and Jun
First press square + circle, right after you recover from the move press forward + jump + left kick + right knick.

King: Easier chain-link combos:
"Buffering" is an extremely useful technique for pulling off some of his ridiculously difficult chain-link combos. This technique is done by holding down a button(s) in the current button combination if that same button(s) is used in the next combination while pressing any additional required buttons in the next combination. For example, if one of the combos requires you to press Square + X, then X + Circle, to "buffer" this combo press Square + X, then while holding X, press Circle. Also keep in mind you can buffer multiple buttons. It seems very complicated but it is much easier than it sounds and makes things incredibly easier. Try studying all of kings chain-link combos and you will notice you can "buffer" almost all of them at a certain point in many different ways. Another helpful hint is to program the four shoulder buttons with different button combos such as LP + RP, LK + RK, LP + LK, and RP + RK. You will notice that these combinations are the basis of almost all of his combos.

Law: Partner attack:
When playing as Law have Lei or Howrang as your partner. When you are Law, press Forward, Triangle, Square and press Tag as soon as possible. Lei or Howrang will automatically run and do a Flying Drop Kick.

Law and Paul: Special attack:
As Law, press Forward, Triangle, Square followed quickly with Tag. When Paul enters, press Triangle(2). Paul will hit the enemy in the air and automatically tag out. When Law enters, press Square to hit the falling enemy.

Paul: Easy win:
Use a move that makes them go flying, then use the Burning Fist attack when they get up.

Yoshimitsu: Easy win:
Use his Sword Stab attack.

Unknown: Cycle through stances:
When playing as Unknown, press R3 to cycle through stances.

Xiaoyu: Looking around:
Press Circle + X + Square while fighting as Xiaoyu.

Yosimitsu: Easy win:
Press Triangle, Circle(2). Do this repeatedly to win.

99 hit combo in practice:
Go to practice, highlight and select Yoshimitsu with Triangle, Hwarong with Square (for you); then Eddy Gordo with X, and Paul Phoenix with X as your enemies. When you go in you can pull off any hit combos, make sure your opponents do not fall over. If they do, the hit combo will stop counting and start over.

Faster character unlock:
Go to the Player 1 versus Player 2 mode, and keep fighting with different characters. After awhile, characters will start unlocking. Keep doing this until every locked character is unlocked, then save the game. In order to leave this mode without losing all the characters, you have to exit during battle by pressing Start and exiting to the main menu. Then, go to options and save.

Go to team battle mode and select eight characters (Yoshimitsu, Paul, Gun Jack suggested, as well as any character that has an ultimate move which takes off about 75% of opponents health). Press Start on controller two and do the same. Start the battle. Do an ultimate move (for example, Back, Back + Square with Yoshimitsu, or Back + Square + Triangle with Paul). When you unlock Wang and Roger, choose them for both players, as their moves are also quite strong. Every second time you do all of this, you will unlock another character. This takes about five minutes each time Note: You must exit from a battle and save the game. If you exit from the character selection screen or just save directly from the menu, any unlocked characters will be lost.

Fight longer and better:
During a match against the CPU, try to keep some distance between you and your opponent. This gives the CPU opponent less chances to grapple and slam you to the ground. Keep a good distance and block as often as possible. Attack when you get the chance and get out of there as soon as possible. You may still lose but if you practice this technique you will win. Your battles will last a little longer so you may want to set the timer to infinite.

Defeating Unknown:
Choose any character, and select Eddy, Bruce, Paul, Law or anyone who can do major damage or are quick such as Eddy or Jun as your second character.
