Hidden Characters & Items
To unlock the knight Marl, the protagonist from V&B prequel 'Seven:
Cavalry of Molmorth,' and the item Shion's Ring in year 1100, you must first
unlock 1 secret character from Chapter 8 (1036-1049) and 5 from 9 (1050-1078). Each secret character must be unlocked by (1) listening to a
rumor from the bartender in the specified town during the approximate year and(2)
visiting the destination before the activated flag disappears.

Rumor: Skulea (S), yr 1055. Destination: Zeles (SW). Defeat Level 7
Malgaron.
Baal (warrior). 'Seven' Picture Book, part 1 of 2
Destination: Capitol, yr 1040. Defeat Level 4 Giant.

Shion's Ring (item)
Capitol, King's audience chamber, yr 1100. Give Kos-Mos 5 Mud Doll parts
in exchange for Shion's Ring. Unequip after every 9 battles to preserve.
Chronicle mode
Enter the main menu. Hold L1 + R1 and press Triangle, tap Triangle, wait briefly, tap Triangle, press
Triangle, wait briefly, tap Triangle(3), wait briefly, tap Triangle(2), press Triangle.
Alternately, successfully complete the game in Story mode.
Cherry icon
Enter the main menu. Hold L1 + R1 and tap Triangle(3), press Triangle(3), tap Triangle(3). A cherry icon will appear in the top left corner.
