Beat all of the playoffs using the team L.A Lakers
Increase Super Star stats:
Press Circle at the main menu to access active menu
Select "Roster" and then "Edit Player". A player will appear in the "Create a
Player" list. Press R2 to increase players statistics. If you want to edit
another player press L2 to get back to the "Create A Player" list. Press Start
to change player.
G-def
Gives the bad boy artists as an NBA team enter G-def at the create a player
screen as the first and last name then you will get them
More Salary Cap Room
Before starting a new franchise, go to "Roster Management". Release your highest
paid players to the Free Agent Pool. For example, if you are the Knicks, release
Spreewell, Houston, etc.. This also works for any team in the game, so you could
release Jordan from Washington, Shaq from the Lakers, etc. and build a super
team for the league minimum. Start a new franchise, and go to the "Roster
Management" screen. Select "Sign Free Agents" and you can now sign your high
priced players back to your team for the league minimum.
It's Gotta Be The Shoes:
You could make your own shoes, I tried it. Go on the creative player screen and
hold R2 + L1 + L2, and press triangle, circle, and square. Then a screen comes
up, and you could do anything you want to the shoes
Hint
TRADE FOR SUPERSTARS EASILY. First start a franchise. Then select the 2
teams. Trade some players back and forth between the teams (have one team be a
whole lot better). Do that until you are over the salary cap. Then trade good
players that you don't want for the ones you want. If you want you could edit
bad players to make them good, and trade them. Here is the best line-up (I have
it and have been undefeated for 7 seasons): Shaq, McGrady, Carter, Bryant, and

New stadium
New stadium-on main screen press-L1-L2-square -R2 -R1 -Circle-X.

New Shoes
At the player creation screen, hold R2 + L1 + L2 and
press Triangle, Circle, Square.
Get Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Enter the Team Selection and choose the 80's Legend
Team. Hold R1 + R2 + L1 + L2 and press Square, Square, Square, Circle, Circle,
Circle, Circle, Triangle, X, X, Select. Now go to the Exhibition Mode and choose
the Rewards Section by pressing the L2 Button. An new Menu named "Legends" is
now available. Choose this entry and exit the Exhibition Mode and move to the
Roster. Put Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in any Team you want and move back to Exhibition
Mode choosing the team you put him into
Michael Jordan
Although Michael Jordan is not in the game by default,
you can create him and the announcer will say his name whenever he does
something.
Iverson's armband
To get the effect of Iverson's arm band, select all arm
bands in create a player mode. It will look like Iverson's arm band/sleeve.
