Always have first pick in draft
Start a franchise with the trade deadline off. Sim or play the season to Week 17. Find out which team has the worst record.
Trade your first draft pick for their first pick and they will always accept. Note: You can also do this with second through seventh draft picks as well
Free Advertising
In owner mode set your advertising budget as high as you like and play or sim your game. You can sim all games in a week except Monday Night Football.
Go back into owner mode and set your advertising budget back to zero, then sim any remaining games on the schedule for that week.
You will get the added attendance and revenue of advertising but will not have to pay for it. This does not work if you host Monday Night Football.
Get Any NFL player you want for a very cheap
price:
During the franchise mode, go to view rosters and select any player you want. Go
to that player and edit his position to the weakest position that player can
have. For example you want to get Brian Urlacher to your favorite team. You will
have to change his position to HB/RB so his OVR will be at the lowest point.
Then Trade him out of that team for any player or low draft pick. When he is
finally in your team, release him as a RB and resign him back to the team and
you will see how cheap he can be. After resigning him back to your team, Edit
his position back to his original MLB position and fix your Depth Chart to
ensure that he will be playing on your frachise game.
Get whatever team you want to be on in superstar
mode:
Go into superstar complete all the things up until draft day. Then When you get
drafted, if you don't like the team simulate pre-season until there is one day
left. Go to options save. then turn autosave off, go to the map, agents office
and demand a trade if you don't like either trades exit without saving and you
start on your original team and ask to be traded again. Do this until you get on
the team you like. This works throughout your whole career.
