Unlock All Teams:
At main screen go to settings, then to secret codes, type: GOLDENGOD You
should hear Madden say: "Boom" and all 200 teams should be available for use.

Endless creation points
Create a new player, go to "Edit Player"
at the roster screen and press Up or Down to choose the new created player.
Press Right to go to the speed category. Press X twice.
Winning the Coin Toss
To win the coin toss, remember what you or the CPU chose last time. 95% of the
time the result is the opposite of the last coin toss. For example, if the CPU
chose heads the last time and won, next time choose tails.
Dance While Going into the End zone
Press L2 or R2 while running into the end zone and your player may do a dance.
Better Catches
To do a better catch than the standard one, simply press the Catch button a
second or a half a second before you reach the target of the ball, or before the
ball reaches the receiver. The player will do a better looking and more
effective catch, such as a one handed catch, a jump catch, a spin catch, an over
the shoulder catch (good for lobs), or a better diving one if the ball is out of
reach.
Obtaining Good Players
In franchise mode, create a new coach and assign him to one of the teams that
are available, but not your team. The game only lets you choose from the worst
teams. Then go to "Roster", then "Trade". You can now trade away the better
players on that team to your team without having to send a ridiculous amount of
good players for just one (even bad teams have some good players). Also, because
the teams you can choose are the worst teams, they have the best draft picks.
This allows you to trade away the draft picks. In other words, if you do this
with several of the bad teams, you can actually end up with, for example, four
first round draft picks. Its a good way to keep your team on top, and not have
to suffer because your team wins so much
Unlock Houston Texans
To activate the Houston Texans, go to Franchise mode, and use the expansion
draft. After one season the Houston Texans will be accessible.
Thanksgiving commentary
Set the system date to the third Thursday in November
to hear Thanksgiving commentary.
Christmas commentary
Set the system date to December 25 to hear Christmas
commentary.
New Year's commentary
Set the system date to January 1 to hear New Year's
commentary
10 million tokens
To get over 10,000,000 tokens, complete the following
steps. Enter the "Rosters" screen from the options menu, then go to the Ravens'
(or any team's defensive you would like to play against) roster and change the
speed of all defensive players on the team to 15. Now select a team you would
like to play as and edit all of their RBs, FBs, TEs, and backup WRs so they are
at a 10 or less rating. Put starting WRs catching and carrying to 0, and leave
the rest of their settings alone. Change all of the QBs passing power and
accuracy to 0, and make sure they are rated at 10 or less. Make the star QB's
speed, accel, carrying, awareness, stamina, and agility all set to 99. Change
your entire starting OL pass block to 99. Save your roster as a secondary roster
(under a new name, not default). Load your newly created roster. Start a two
minute drill on the "All Madden" difficulty setting against the Ravens D (or the
team's defensive you chose to play against), and select the profile and team
that has your modified QB. Find a good passing play and keep using it to score
in the two minute drill. You should be able to get around 63 to 70 points. If
the defense does somehow get a good play on you, call a time out to save your
time. Run out of bounds if you see a penalty being called. When your game is
over you should have a huge negative number as your score, quit and go to the
"Madden Cards" screen under the options menu. View your stats and you will have
your over 10,000,000 tokens.
Easy tokens
For easy tokens, go to the two minute drill screen.
Choose two to four accounts, and the Admirals for defense. Choose your team and
make sure you choose a profile to save to, then start playing. Keep throwing to
WR2 and you should get a lot of touchdowns. It is possible to get a score over
33,000 with this trick
Unlimited Attributes
Unlimited Attributes- first you create a player and then when you are done you
go back to rosters screen and go over until you see edit player, then click on
it and find your player and then you click on him and pick attributes, the
result is you will now be able to have unlimited creation points.
Play with Walter Payton
At the menu screen, go to Edit, and select make a player screen. Name the Player
Walter as the first name, Payton84 as the last name. You must put exactly Walter
Payton84, just like that. Now, go to exhibition game, and choose the 2002
Chicago Bears. During the game, substitute your running back, and you will have
Walter Payton.
Get Madden Tokens Faster
To get A LOT of Madden tokens to buy special playing
cards, then go to the 2-minute drill and play the expansion Houston Texans. Then
score as many touchdowns as you can. NOTE: This is the best and quickest way to
get Madden Tokens.

Kick ball as high as it can go, and all the way to the left. You should get the
ball 8 out of 10 times.

To get the ball at the beginning of game push start
before the referee say call it in the. It works every time
Possession 2:
When you kickoff do an onside kick, and kick it as far left as it can go and as
short as it can go and put no power in it you should almost always get the ball.
How to Trade Without Using Your Own Players:
The easiest way to get the picks in the draft, or players you want is at the end
of the season if you have a little cap left over go to free-agency and sign like
a 90 37 year-old QB then as soon as you sign him trade him away to get young
players or draft picks. This is a loophole in the game and can be used if you
need a pick but don't want to or can't get rid of your players
I'm So Fast...:
Before doing 2-minute drills go to rosters and take a team and put every
persons' stats all the way down on defense. This takes a while. Put the
difficulty level on "All Madden." When I did this I got 500 tokens. The people
are so slow they can never catch up to you.
Easy Card Collecting:
First set up 2 profiles, one that you keep cards on (A) and one for this trick
(B). Now set the stats of some defense at the lowest setting (I used the
Panthers because they stink already). Then play 2-minute a drill at the
All-Madden level with profile-B a few times. You should end up with that profile
having a few thousand tokens. Now, save profile-B. Then go buy some cards. Trade
all the cards you want to keep to profile-A. Then save profile-A. DO NOT RESAVE
PROFILE-B!! Now, reset the system. When you check your cards Profile-A has all
the cards you just got plus Profile-B still has all the tokens you had to begin
with. You can continue to do this for as long as you like, eventually getting
all the cards
Major oldies
When on the team selection page, push R1+L1+o+L2+R2. then when you scroll down
on the team list you will get teams from the 1910-1935. The players are in black
and white, and there helmets are the really old kind.
Super Players
Go to the "edit player" option under rosters. Next, click on it and choose the
player you want to edit and move the cursor over to where it is under "spd," and
push x twice. When you do this you can put all the players abilities of all
kinds up to their highest settings, which would be "99"

When you play one of these cards during the game, your player will get a ratings
boost. There are three different versions: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Bronze gives
your player a 25% ratings boost for a single play, Silver gives him a 25% boost
until the end of the quarter and Gold gives the boost until the end of the
half.
