Unlockable: Swordmasters
Blacksmith: kill 100 opponents in a row at any tea house.
Ikumatsu: finish with the "Path of Blood" ending.
Katsu Kaishu: finish the "100 kills" mode.
Kiyokawa Hachiro: finish the "Formation of Shinsengumi" event.
Okita Soji (alternate): finish the "1000 kills" mode.
Saigo Takamori: finish the "Heroes of Satsuma" event.
Takuan: finish the "108 earthly desires" mode.
Alternate stages
Select versus mode, then hold Select when choosing
a stage at the selection screen. Note: Only some stages have an
alternate version.
Dojo stage
Select versus mode, then hold Select when
selecting the random option at the stage selection screen.
Alternate Musashi attack
Select versus mode, then hold Select when
choosing Musashi at the character selection screen to unlock a two sword attack
