Beating Yu Yevon using Ultimate Weapons
This is a great strategy for beating Yu Yevon easily. First of all, you need to
have at least 1 Ultimate Weapon. I would prefer either Tidus' or Yuna's.
If you are going to use Tidus, he has to have the following abilities on his
Ultimate Weapon:
Break Damage Limit
Triple Overdrive
Magic Counter
Evade and Counter
If you are going to use Yuna, she has to have the following abilities on her
Ultimate Weapon:
Break Damage Limit
Triple Overdrive
Double AP
One MP Cost
He should die in a couple of hits. Oh, and keep in mind that a one-hit kill is
possible if Tidus' strength is high enough or Yuna's magic is high enough with
their Ultimate Weapons equipped. Tidus' normal attack or Yuna's Holy magic can
do this successfully. Submitted by Michael

Boxing scene
While first entering Mt.Gagazet you will see a seen where Yuna talks to the
master Ronso if you look in the right corner of the right corner of the screen
you will be able to see Tidus boxing with Wakka it is really funny.

Getting the best Blitzball move: Jecht
Shot 2
In order to get Jecht Shot 2, you need to get all 3 of Tidus' Key
Techniques, plus Jecht Shot. Once you have done this, sooner or later you will
see Jecht Shot 2 as a Tournament Prize. When it appears, win the tournament, and
Jecht Shot 2 is all yours! Note: It uses 999 HP, so you may also want to have
Drain Tackle 3 as one of Tidus' Techniques because he'll most likely need to
gain HP to use the technique.

To get the following ability u must have the ability invisible shoot because
jecht shoot 2 is knocks out 3 players and it become invisible 100% I CAN TELL U

Easy Ifrit Battle:
When you have to fight Bel-whats-her name, you have to use Valefor and she uses
Ifrit, it's kind of easy to win the battle. First of all, just make sure that
you have at least 3/4 of it's Overdrive. Once it's filled up, use it. Afterward,
Ifrit will do a Meteor Strike, a normal attack, and maybe another. Afterward,
just keep using Sonic Wind. This causes you to attack every time, without
getting damaged by Ifrit. It may take awhile, but it's worth it. **NOTE** If
your Overdrive fills up while doing this, use it, but don't use it if you have
under 500 HP. **NOTE** (2) You can do this for other enemies to, just make sure
its only a monster with a lot of HP, and it's only one enemy.
Energy blast
Go to besaid village and talk to girl in front of the
temple and she will say her dog hsa found something and she will give it to you

Kill yu yevon quick
When you fight yu yevon, you could do reflect or use phoenix down on him. About
two turn, you going to kill the .... out of him. I already defeated the game so
I know. Submitted by Visal: 0visal43
Easy Bomb Battles:
When you have to fight Bombs (lil dudes that look like a ball of fire), summon
Ifrit. In doing this, Bombs will only use Fire on you, not attacks. So, when
they do, it heals you, since Ifrit is a *FIRE TYPE*. So cast Boost on you and
just use Meteor Strike or attack them until they die. It's worth the wait
because you don't die or get hurt. **NOTE** Make sure you kill them in 3 or less
hits because if you have the help on, point the pointer at it and it'll say
"Will self-destruct of attacked 3 times." But, it just heals him. So if you plan
on calling him back before it self-destructs, be prepared.
Dancing Tidus:
In the Djose Temple (Where you get Ixion), complete the task of fill in the
creature on the floor and all that other good stuff. Then go up the stairs. When
you talk to Auron, he'll say stop moving around or something like that. Proceed
out the door. You'll be stop by Yuna coming out of the chamber and Dona/Barthello
will come in. When Dona starts to talk to Yuna (After Barthello shakes Auron's
hand), look closely when Dona is talking. You'll see Tidus dancing around. It's
quite funny if you enjoy laughing as much as I do. **This servers no point in
the game.**
Ability Spheres:
I haven't gotten that far in FFX yet, but I do know this. If you are running out
of Ability Spheres, fight Duel Horns or Basilisks. D. Horns will give one each
and Basilisks will give 3 each (I believe). D. Horns are located on the trail
you go on after you rescue Yuna from the Al Bheds. Basilisks are located on the
path you take to Djose Temple, after you kill the Sinspawn Gui twice. To kill
them, use Wakka's Dark A. against D. Horns. Also if you have Yuna's Rod of
Darkness, use that as well. This will blind it. For Basilisks, summon Vale for
or Ifrit (maybe if you have Ixion, use that too.). They're immune to
petrifaction. So use B. Magic or the attacks given. **NOTE** Don't forget to use
Kimhari's Lancet special on Basilisks and D. Horns. On DH, it'll give him
Overdrive Ronso Rage: Fire Breath and on Basilisks, it'll give him Overdrive
Ronso Rage: Stone Breath, one of the most devastating Overdrives yet.
Easy Overkills:
To get instant overkills, even on bosses, you need to have acquired Bahamut.
First, tune up his stats. Make all of the 101 (this is going to take a time to
get it up to 101). When you do, fight Yojimbo or somebody that is very strong.
When you're in a fight, use B's Impulse attack, doing 99,999 or 999,999 (I
forgot...Most likely the 99,999 is the one).
Secret Character Zorox
During the beginning movie, type in this
code Up, Down, Down, Circle, X, Right, Left, Up, Square.
Finding those Overdrives:
Auron: Find various Jeckt Spheres laying about the world. A few of these
will give Auron a new Overdrive. Find all 10 to get Auron's final overdrive.
Kimari: Use the Dragon Sword
ability to drain HP and MP from the enemy. If the enemy has a Blue magic skill
that Kimari can learn, he will gain it automatically. Obtain Sunshine from the
Omega Weapon.
Lulu: Spin the Right Analog-stick
clockwise as fast as possible. The number will go up the more you rotate it. The
more you level Lulu up, the easier it is to cast multiple spells.
Rikku: Rikku's overdrive combines
items to create special attacks and power-ups during battle. You have to choose
any two items to combine. Note: Two of the same kind will work.
Tidus: Just keep using them over
and over. After a while, he will learn his next Overdrive.
Wakka: You can win new overdrive

Race and defeat the Chocobo trainer in the Calm Lands. After winning the race,
walk to the upper northwest section of the Calm Lands. The guard blocking a
narrow pathway down into the gorge will have left his post, allowing you to
pass. Tidus will then be able to use the Calastial Mirror to acquire Caladbolg.
Yuna: Nirvana
Capture all nine types of fiends in the Calm Land region. After collecting them
all, return to the monster arena owner. He will produce a treasure chest,
containing the weapon.
Auron: Masamune
Acquire the Rusty Sword, which is found on the eastern cliff of the Cavern of
the Stolen Fayth in the Calm Lands. Take the Rusty Sword to the statue of Lord
Mi'ihen on the Mushroom Rock Road. Place the Rusty Sword before the statue to
reveal a glyph. Touch it to reveal the Masamune's secret location.

because you have been neglecting to play Blitzball.
Kimahri: Spirit Lance
Active three of the Qactuar Stones on the Thunder Plains, then find the Qactuar
ghost flying just above the ground at Thunder Plains-South. Follow it to a small
ruined lighting tower on the right side. Press Square to send a bolt of
lightning to the tower to reveal a treasure holding the weapon.
Lulu: Onion Knight
Return to Baaj Temple and dive underwater. Swim towards the doors to the north
and fight Geosgaeno. After defeating it, search the southern part of the
circular underwater area and look for a treasure chest containing the weapon.
Rikku: Godhand
Input the airship password GODHAND to open a secret location at Mushroom Rock.
Move north to the end of this ravine, and use the Celestial Mirror on the symbol
embedded in the rock face.
Defeating Seymour with Guards:
In the first half of the game you must fight Seymour in a temple - he only has
about 6,000 HP, but he has 2 Guado guards (with Protect) who will jump in front
of all attacks, and every time they are attacked they use auto-potion and
automatically regain 1,000 of 2,000 HP. The easiest way to defeat these guys is
by using Aeons. First use the Trigger command "talk" for Tidus and Yuna; this
will increase their stats. Before you summon an Aeon, it wouldn't hurt to use
some abilities like Haste and Cheer. You are going to need it for what is about
to come. Finally, summon an Aeon - it doesn't really matter which. Now is the
difficult part... get your Aeon into Overdrive mode- use any method you see fit
- BUT BEWARE! You need to be careful if you use Boost. Seymour does mid level
magic which can severely hurt an Aeon, especially if he has boost on! Now, after
your Aeon goes into overdrive...use their ability. You should be strong enough
that it kills the guards and severely damages Seymour (lol...you should be far
enough to Overkill the guards). After you do this, Seymour will summon Anima
(the Aeon you see from the Blitzball tournament), he has about 16,000 HP, and he
boosts himself until he can use his overdrive---which will most likely kill the
entire party...so instead of having him use it on the party, have him use it on
your Aeons. Keep building their overdrives and using them on Anima- damage him
as much as you can with all your Aeons (Valifor, Ifrit, Ixion, Shiva) until they
are all KO'd. After this is over, he should have from 2,000-5,000 HP- now is
your chance to finish him off- this would be much easier with Haste on... just
SLASH SLASH SLASH, until Seymour dismisses him- then just finish off Seymour
normally.
More Seymore Tips
When fighting Seymor for the first time look for a
pattern of spells that he is casting. I found that he cast ice, thunder, water
then fire so use Yuna to cast Nul spells in that order so that your characters
do not take any damage while facing him. Also, do not try to summon Aeons
because he will quickly eliminate them. Defeating Anima is easy just use ????/shiva
and cast blizzard/blizzara on herself to keep her HP up and once you hit
overdrive unleash Diamond dust on Anima. This will either take 9999 HP from him
or it may be less. Either way He is still a push over.
Cut Total Annihilation in 1/2:
Sorry if "Annihilation" is spelled wrong. Simple task, but lucky too. When you
are facing Seymour for the third and last time he does an attack which is called
"Total Annihilation". Cast Protect on Yuna, then on the others. If you have some
more time after, cast Shell on them. But, if you want to make sure you will live
through this, when he is charging for the attack, bring out all your members
with the most HP, including Yuna (whether or not she has least/most/middle HP).
Cast Protect first, and Shell second. Just hope Seymour doesn't cast Dispel, but
if that happens repeat the process
Stop Auto-Potion:
When fighting the guards and Seymour to stop the guards from using potions the
first turn you get switch to Rikku and steal from each of the guards. They won't
use there potion any more and then you can just kick there butockses without
them healing themselves.
Easy AP Gain/Sphere Level Up:
First get a weapon with multi-customization slots, a minimum of 2 slots. Use the
weapon customization command and add Overdrive->AP to the weapon (10 Doors of
Tomorrow required). Also if you have the option of double AP (20 Mega elixirs
required) or Triple AP (50 Wings of Discovery required) Now switch your
Overdrive mode to Slayer, Warrior, Victor, or Hero (I found Warrior works really
well.) By doing that you now raise your potential of gaining AP. You also gain
extra AP from the Overdrive->AP ability and then whatever AP you gain doubled or
tripled with the double and triple AP option. I found the Cactuar Village on
Bikanel Island (Cactuar mini quest must be completed to get in the village) is
one of the best places to gain AP. You generally are able to fight creatures
such as Cactuars (8000 AP), Sand Worms (2000 AP), and Zus (1200 AP). The battles
that can be faced within the village include a group of three Cactuars (that
being 24000 AP at a minimum without Triple or Double AP or Overdrive->AP) A
group two Cactuars, A single Cactuar, Two Cactuars and a Zu, A single Zu, and A
single Sand Worm.
Dodging Lightning = Items:
In the Thunder Plains, if you can dodge the lightning a certain number of times
in a row, you will be rewarded with items. Adversely, if you get struck by
lightning 30 times, you get an Ether. If you get hit 80 times, you get an
Elixir.
Times Dodged Item
5 Two X-Potions
10 Two Mega-Potions
20 Two MP Spheres
50 Three Strength Spheres
100 Three HP Spheres
150 Four Megalixirs
200 Venus Sigil

Defeat the Aeons
You must do this before fighting the last boss because
the boss (Sin) will enter your summon body to take over the body. So, you must
kill all your summon to fight the last boss. This battle will be easier if your
summon don't get to their highest power.
Defeated the last Boss (Sin)
The last boss in this game is very weirdo one. The size
is so small, but the power is so cool. When the battle begin, cast 'Reflect'
magic on it, because it will use 'Full-Cure' on it after each attack which cure
9'999 HP. When you reach Yuna's turn, cast 'Reflect' on all party members too.
Use Tidus and Auron to attack and use Yuna's 'Holy' to attack it.

One of the Best Blitzball Shots
On the S.S. Winno you will get the Jecht Shot Challenge. If you pass it you can
use the Jecht Shot in blitzball when you pass level 3. This is one of the best
blitzball moves.
Easily Defeat Guado Guards
Any time you are facing Guado Guards (such as against Seymor the first time).
They always auto-potion when you hurt them. The easiest way to beat them is NOT
to summon aeons, but instead to have Rikku steal their potion. It only takes one
steal and then they can't auto-potion anymore. After that, its cake to kill them
with whatever method you like.
Very Easy Win with YuYevon
I am not saying the boss is easy, but if you manage to make it passed all your
summons and you fight Yu Yevon this is what you do. No matter how much you hit
him he uses Courage and heals 9,999. So use a reflect on him and hit him. He
will heal you 9,999 almost every hit he takes. Cheap, you I know but it works.
Steal From Chest's Without Fighting Mimics
Later in the game you will encounter treasure chest's during battle. Some of
these chests have nothing in them and as a result you have to fight a powerful
mimic. But there is away around this. First make sure Rikku (or anyone) has the
ability "Mug." When in a battle with a chest, use mug on the chest, if the chest
has an item, you get it and kill the chest. If not, you get no item and kill the
chest. Since chest's have 1 HP this is a great way to avoid mimics.
Get tons of AP
To get a lot of AP any time after you kill Seymour the 1st time just return to
Macalania Temple and fight the Guado. I found this to work best right after
killing him the first time.
Get the NO AP Ability Off Your Legendary Weapon
To get the NO AP ability off your ultimate weapon , you must collect the correct
crest and sigil for the weapon...NOTE: This is not a simple task , the crests
are very easy to get; but the sigils are almost impossible to get (EX. Tidus's
Caladbolg needs the Sun Crest and Sun Sigil to get the NO AP ability off.)
Lots of Potions
While riding the S.S. Liki, go to the bottom deck and enter the first door to
your left. in the Room their should be a brown briefcase on the floor, kick it
15 times and you will get 15 potions
Easy Everae Battle (2nd)
When you encounter Everae the second time, (the aeon you fought on the airship)
hit all the locks (the trigger command) to advance to the next area. Keep doing
this until the last door closes on you. Now Everae can't attack you anymore.
Everae has become a zombie, so use 2 phoenix downs or a full-life on Everae and
it will then die
Potions Anyone?
On the USS Likki, the first time you get on there, go down into the lower part
of the ship and enter the room with the two Besaid Aurochs. After getting the
chest in that room, go up to the suitcase and press 'X'. Tidus will kick the
suitcase and get a potion. Keep kicking it and the suitcase will give you more
and more potions until it totally runs out. This is definitely good advice for
the beginning players of the game.

Tips for Getting the Sun Sigil
To get the Sun Sigil, you have to race the chocobo trainer and get a total time
of 0:0.0. This is quite possibly one of the most frustrating tasks in the
game. The first tip I have is to go for the first balloon (which shaves off 3
seconds on your time) on the right. The one on the left is virtually impossible
to get because the Trainer will cut you off. Usually if you just aim for the
balloons on the right, you can pick up 3 or 4 at the beginning stretch. On the
last two stretches, it's all luck. The birds are never worth the hit, because
not only do they add 3 seconds, but it take another 2 or 3 seconds to recover.
Then Square wants you to cry when occasionally a second unavoidable bird comes
and hits you again....so basically, unless it'll get you like 5 balloons, avoid
the birds. The race itself can usually take around 37-42 seconds without
hitting birds, so you need at least 13-15 balloons to make the perfect time.
Every bird you hit is essentially 2!
more balloons to grab. It takes a long time to get the hang of it (took me
almost 2 hours to get it), but the reward is more than worth the torture.
Tidus's weapon, when fully powered, comes with the abilities Triple Overdrive,
Evade & Counter, Magic Counter, and Break Damage Limit, so it's definitely worth
it.
Easy last boss fight
This code is easy any body can do it all u need is zombie or zombie attack when
the battle begins immediately cast zombie on the the boss then attack now
usually after your turn Yu Yugo ( or something like that ) will cast curaga with
to cure him, with zombie on it will hurt him inflicting up to 5000 damage, now
with this knowledge u can use phoenix downs on him to kill him or x potions or
any curing item u would like to use to slowly take down his pride!
Get Wakka in Your BlitzBall Team
After the Al Bhed "Home" is destroyed and you're on Cid's ship, and after
everyone's done talking go to Wakka and ask him to be in your Blitz Ball team,
by pressing square, and he'll join. That easy, you can also get Rin in your team
when monster attack the ship.
Easy Ochu Kill
Early in the game, Ochu can be a formidable foe, and with a reward of 180 AP it
is important that you seek and kill all that you can find...doing so will aide
you on your quest to activate all nodes on the Sphere Grid.
Remember to have all your characters take a swing at it, then have Yuna come out
to play. After the Ochu's turn, summon Valefor and have him use his Sonic Wings
attack...this delays the Ochu's turn. Keep hitting him with Sonic Wings until
it has 300 or so HP left...dismiss Valefor and Bring out Lulu...Cast Fira or
Firaga...BOOM! You kill the Ochu with minimal effort and get an OVERKILL in the
process.
Auron's Overdrives: Monster Catching
Auron learns new overdrives by looking at spheres left in Spira by Jechct,
Braska,and himself. There are 8 Jechct Spheres,1 Braska Sphere,and 1 Auron
Sphere. Personally, I only have like 3 or 4.You can't get some until you get the
airship, so you should visit the monster arena while backtracking for the
spheres and catch some monsters for the managre while looking for the spheres
required for Auron's overdrives
Hidden aeon, Anima
Find the hidden location Baaj temple with the airship. Run up the familiar path
and dive into the water. Then prepare to finally defeat Geosgaeno, and swim
toward the under water temple entrance.
GEOSGAENO: Geosgaeno attacks with stone punch and KO punch, so equip Rikku,
Tidus, and wakka with armor bearing protection against petrifaction and death.
Cast Hastega and Protect on the party, and use everyone's Overdrives.
After defeating Geosgaeno, swim north into the temple entrance. Enter the
Chamber of Faith, where you'll find 4 mega pheonix items and a mega elixir.
Approach the six statues on either side. There is one hidden item in each of
Spira's 6 cloister of trials. you should have 5 of these items at this point,
and five of the statues in this room will activate as a result. Now you just
need to get the last item from the Zanarkand Dome.
Fly back to Zanarkand and enter the dome. There, a new puzzle solution is
displayed on-screen. Step on three white squares in the first room and 4 in the
larger chamber. This opens a panel in the first room revealing a Destruction
Sphere. Place the Destruction sphere into the slot to the right of the monitor
in the larger chamber, and the screen will explode. Collect the Magistal Rod,
and return to Baaj Temple.
The six statues will now resonate with the items you have collected, allowing
you to enter the Chamber of Fayth. Now the unbelievably powerful aoen is yours!
ANIMA: Unique Attack: Pain
Anima conjures the essence of misery and anguish, and unleashes it upon a single
enemy. The attack has a high chance of causing instant death. Pain has a high
recovery time.
OVERDRIVE: OBLIVION
In the most horrifying of all aeons' overdrives, Anima inflicts multiple
non-elemental attacks on all enemies
Game Shark users only
If you have all the codes for everyone (all overdrives,
inf. life, all overdrive modes, max everyone level 99, etc.) and you come across
a boss. HINT, HINT Those two Ronso's! Biran and that other guy, if you look at
their stats, you see Biran 3694589(it is in the 3 millions) and the other Ronso
2946548 (also in the 2 millions), you know that they are impossible to beat.
Since you are using Kimari, hopefully (YOU BETTER HAVE THE ALL OVERDRIVES FOR
HIM) you have his overdrive "Doom"? <its something like that, look at the top
and make sure it says "Casts Doom" by highlighting some of his moves , Doom
should not be in blue or it wouldn't work on the bad guy>. This spell should
take the enemy 20 turns until he dies, that's right, you have to stay alive by
then. Cast it on the other Ronso (that's what I did) and keep hitting Biran. Get
your overdrive full again (it may take a little long<9 min. - 15 min.>, but be a
little patient) Finally, cast that same spell on the remaining Ronso for GOOD!
If you want him to die, do this: (its risky) Keep skipping your turn until he
dies. Well now you've done it! I don't know if this happens to you people but it
did to me! You've just beaten THE HARDEST (close to the last BOSS for harder)
BOSS in the GAME! It took me a while to figure out this one, but its been
SOLVED! Submitted by

How To Get Celestial Mirror
To get the celestial shield, get the cloudy mirror, which can be acquired by
going to Remmiem temple and winning the chokabo race. Simply cross the bridge
and turn right. Win the race, getting the cloudy Mirror. Then, go to the
Macalania woods. Once there, talk to the woman, and she will tell you her
husband is lost. Take the path to the right of her. Then go right, and then up.
This is where her husband is. Talk to all of the men until you have talked to
him. Then go back to the woman. Now her son is lost. Go up the new path that is
made of ice, and search all the trails. When you find the boy, simply talk to
him. Then, when it asks you to use the cloudy mirror, say 'yes'. With the
celestial mirror you will be able to get final weapons
Easy Win Against Biran & Yenke Ronso
Are those stupid furry ronsos getting on your nerves?
Here's an easy way to beat them! Get an overdrive with Kimahri and cast Doom on
Biran and Yenke. By attacking them while they're Doomed will make the countdown
quicken up. Also, cast Mighty Guard on Kimahri so he doesn't take any damage
when Biran or Yenke cast black magic spells on you (fire, blizzard etc).

Power Up Ultimate Weapons!
Once you've got all your ultimate weapons, the crests
and sigils, there's a neat little trick you can do to give the weapons some
extra punch!! Go to Macalania Woods. Walk up the Star Path and walk up to the
path where that huge plant is (y'know, the spot where you had to turn the Cloudy
Mirror into the Celestial Mirror!) It will ask you to show the 'celestial
weapons'. A list of your characters names will appear. (I like the next bit!)
Choose a character, Rikku, or Yuna, anyone who has an ultimate weapon. And hey
presto! Your ultimate weapon will be powered up!

Alternate Ultimate Weapons
Alternate Ultimate Weapons: If you've got at least 60
Dark Matters, you can create a weapon which is almost as good as the ultimate
weapons. To get them, enter the customize screen in the main menu. Pick any
weapon of Tidus's, Yuna's, Rikku's, Wakka's, Lulu's or Auron's. Select it with
the X button and scroll down the list of abilities till you get to Break Damage
Limit. Add this and the weapon will have a whopping 99999 attack points. Here's
a list of them (well, sometimes they'll become different once you add different
abilities to them after you've done this). Submitted by Sinead
Blitzball player Brother
Just recruit Rikku's brother from the airship controls.
He has some techs already and is a very good player. Submitted by Stimpy
Hint
The first time you face Seymour, use Yuna and summon
Ifrit. Wait until he has an overdrive and then use it on Seymour and his guards.
His guards will die no problem, and it will severely damage Seymour himself.
However, he will use his aeon Anima, this is were you use a new tactic. Keep
using fire on yourself to bring your health back up, and then keep doing cheeky
little attacks on him before he attacks you again. When Seymour dismisses Anima,
do exactly the same on him and he will be a goner! Submitted by Ash w.
The Magus Sisters
The Magus Sisters are basically the best Aeons in the
game. In order to get them you must have Anima and Yojimbo. Also, you must have
captured all of the monsters in Mt. Gagazet. After you do that you must go as if
you are leaving the Calm Lands. NOT TOWARDS WHERE YOU GOT YOJIMBO. You go the
other way to leave. Also, you must have a chocobo. After you get up to where you
can exit the Calm Lands go straight instead of leaving them. You will see some
chocobo prints and what looks like a broken bridge. Go to the chocobo prints and
press X. You'll jump down and will be able to leave the Calm Lands. You will be
able to get to the Remiem Temple. While you are in there you must beat all of
Belgemine's Aeons. They're easiest to beat if Anime is really strong. After you
beat them you must get around her. Then you can use some items and get into
where you can pray to the faith. After you get the Magus sisters you need to
fight Belgemine again. You will fight the Magus Sisters. After you beat them you
get a sigil. Submitted

Defeat Guado Guards:
To beat the guado guards when figting Seymore 1,have Kamiahri's overdrive be
full. Then use his overdrive stonebreath. That should kill the guards in one
hit.
Defeating Nemesis Easily:
First and foremost you must have agility, magic, strength, defense, and
magic defense at 200+ First off cast hastega, protect, and auto-life, (don't
worry about casting shell). When attacking Nemesis always use Quick Hit. Attack
with your party until Nemesis uses its cannon on you after he uses the cannon he
will attack with either Armageddon (which causes 99,999 damage to all
characters) or his buster attack (which causes 30,000 damage to all characters).
Summon an aeon right after he uses the cannon attack against you, but be awareas
sometimes Nemesis can use one of those two powerful attacks without warning at
anytime that is why auto-life is needed. Unless his first attack after the
cannon is Armageddon after sacrificing an aeon return to your normal attack
pattern using Quick Hit. If he uses Armageddon then summon another aeon before
he attacks again as he will use the Buster attack. Nemesis shouldn't take to
long to beat just keep using Quick Hit and time his attacks correctly. Stay
focused because one mistake in this battle can cost you dearly. Also don't use
overdrive attacks against Nemesis he will counter with Ultima. If you want to
steal an item from him use mug because he will also counter a normal steal
attack.
Defeat Yu Yeven Easier:
Customize one or all of your characters' weapons with the ability "Zombie
Strike" and attack Yu Yeven with it. He can be turned into the zombie status.
Then with the same or another character use a "Pheonix Down" or cast "Full-Life"
on Yu Yevon. This will instantly kill him. It worked for me. His health is about
99,999,999 so have fun with this code and even steal items from him before you
kill him.
Defeating Defender Z:
To defeat Defender Z in Zanarkand Ruins, you need Tidus' Provoke. Use
Provoke, and after that just attack normally with other party members. After
being provoked, the only thing he will do is a Blast Punch attack to Tidus, and
it will not kill him. It will only damage half of Tidus' HP on every attack.
Speak Perfect Al Bhed At The Start:
Play through and collect all the Al Bhed Primers, then save the game. Start
a new game. At the point where Tidus first arrives in Spira, he is in the water
with a bird on it. When he can move, swim over to the left of the screen. Over
on that side is an Al Bhed Compilation Sphere. Make sure that you have the same
memory card in that your first game was saved to. Touch the sphere and have it
compile the Al Bhed dictionary. Check your key items. You will now find that you
have every single Al Bhed Primer that you found in your first game. If you found
all 26 of them, you will be speaking perfect Al Bhed, even before meeting Rikku
for the first time. Note: If this is done, all the Al Bhed Primers will
disappear from the "new" game, as you will already have them. Also, you can roam
and get every single Primer in the game except for XXII, which is in the Temple
Of Bevelle -- If you did not get it the first time around, you will have to wait
until you can get it in the second game. All other Primers can be found at any
time in the game.
Cure ixion, shiva and ifrit:
For ixion cast thunder, thundara or thundaga on himself.
For shiva cast blizzard, blizzara or blizzaga on herself.
For ifrit cast Fire, Fira or firaga on himself.
Masamune Power Ups:
The Crest for the masamune is found south of the Oldroad at Mi'hen Highroad.
The sigil will be given to you if you capture 10 monsters, 10 different species,
and 10 different regions.
Gil Gil and more Gil:
In the Omega Dungeon you will sometimes face a lone lizard with a treasure
chest steal from the chest. You will sometimes get a mega-potion or a
turbo-ether which are great items, but I would rather get nothing ang fight a
mimic because they give you 50,000 Gil and 100,000 Gil if you have the
Gillionare ability.
More Witty Ways to Dispatch YY:
Another easy way to total kill Yu Yevon is to inflect Zombie Status on him that
way when you attack him right after he will use curaga which will damage him
9,999. Note: if the Yu Pogas heal him you will need to use your zombie attack
again.
Defeat Dark Yojimbo
When u have full control of the airship and the only thing left to finish the
games is defeat Jecht en Yu Yevon u can get al the secret aeons and defeat those
darn hard to kill Dark Aeons. All the Dark Aeons should be easy to kill with
Yojimbo's 'Zanmato' except for Dark Yojimbo. When encountering Dark Yojimbo in
the Cavern of the stolen Faith u'll probably kill him the first time but u have
to kill him 4 times. After the first kill run up to the tunnel to encounter him
the 2nd time. Now here's the problem: Yojimbo's overdrive is empty after that
last battle. When u want to perform another Zanmato you'll have to give over
200000 gil to get it (sometimes he only uses wakisashi then :( )if u succeed the
2nd battle make ur way out of the cave and u'll encounter him a third en forth
time. The trick is to have a lot of gil or either have auto-life or auto-phoenix
on ur shield. I'm still busy trying to defeat him by collecting loads of gil in
Omega Ruins. I hope this helps to get that Penance (aeon received after
defeating all dark aeons)
MILLIONS OF AP!
The first step is to unlock a specific monster on the monster arena called
One-Eye on the species creations. The second step is to unlock Don Tonberry.
(capture all of the monsters on the sunken cave on other words cavern of the
stolen faith where you could get Yojimbo) Now what you do after that is Beat
One-Eye and do a overkill. Now sometimes it drops a triple ap weapon with some
empty slots on it and some magic defenses spheres. When you get your triple ap
weapon customize it with the Ap-]overdrive ability (you need ten doors to
tomorrow) on your weapon.
Now set your overdrive mode to stioc or comrade. Now battle the Don Tonberry and
it hit it with a physical attack so it counters with Karma. (The damage depends
on how much monsters you've beaten so for example you beaten 10 monsters so it
is multiplied like this 10x100=1000.So it is multiplied by 100.So if your
character attacks it it gets countered back and with your weapons effect your
overdrive meter does not charge up but you gain more ap. I hope you like this
code
