Be a pro Co-op season
Midfield is easy because you can stay up front like a striker or go in to defense if you prefer defending and the tasks will be easier.

Manager Mode Tip
When you pick your first season team, you should stay with them for at least 3 seasons, because if you quit before that, you wont be able to go any other good team.

Quick Easy Money For Any Team In Manager Mode
When in manager mode and you are in need of some quick cash here is the best solution. "Buy" off the free agent list. you don't actually have to pay a transfer fee. You just pay him really really high wages. You can then keep the player (if you can afford his weekly pay) or sell him straight away for a huge profit.
I was playing as Sydney FC (low budget), so i "bought" 3 guys off the free agent list. (You do have to pay their wages for at least a week or until you can sell them) I then sold these 3 guys for about $10 or $15 million each.
This will work with any club on the game, even the rich ones like Real Madrid or Man Utd.

Manager mode: Spending experience points
In Manager mode, access the experience points menu. Near the top of the screen is an option you can toggle if you wish to have the experience points spent automatically. Turn the auto spend off. Save up until you have about 40,000 experience points, or roughly a third of a season. Then, go back into the menu where you spend your points. You can spend a lot more points in one go. This makes it easier to decide what aspects of a player to upgrade. When you have 40,000 experience points, turn on the auto spend. The CPU spends the points better if there are more to spend.

Easy goals
To get the most out of corners, aim towards where the most people are (slightly to your left if you are taking it from the right side of the pitch and vice versa) then set it to full power by holding Circle. As soon as it comes in, keep tapping Circle and someone will header it in.

Scouting
On your first season upgrade your scout to 10 and scout Africa You'll see a player called M.Omoboe he'll go up to 86+

Kroos
In Bayern Munich there will be a player called something Kroos (I forget) he is 64 and is 17 yrs old but he goes up to 87

Lots of money
This works with any team. Way you do is before you start manager mode, the team you want just transfer some good players on the team that you are selecting. (I would pick these two players Ronald (Manchester United) Ronaldinho (Barcelona). This will Make you have lots of money if you are struggling.

Scouting in the America's
On my first season for Arsenal, i upgraded my scout to 10 and then searched the America's....the scout then came back with a 18 year old called Kyle Bridge...he is 64 overall but grows to 86...he is a great prospect....

Richest Manager In The World!!
Before starting the Manager Mode, make many created players and fill them up for 99 (max) each...and after starting your season. sell those players. make sure you created a young player so that he will be more expensive( i suggest borne on 1986)..you will be able to sell them for 42 to 71 mill each. but if u want to make sure that you sell them for the maximum amount. make sure you play them first and fill up their morale to 99 and walla...71 mill for each player in your pocket. good luck.. -barnuck101 no.1 FIFA player in South east Asia)

Good Scouting
If you scout with a #10 scout in the UK you will find a guy called David Milner get him he grows to around 90 in his fifth or fourth season.

Saving Penalties
When the opposition has just won a penalty and their player is getting ready, press right on the right analog stick, and your goalkeeper should bounce along his goal line. Then in between the players run up and his contact with the ball, bounce back to the middle and then dive (circle and left analog stick) to the far left hand side. It works about 90% of the time.

Easy energy
In manager mode, if your players are tired, you can save the game (you have to save manual, auto save doesn't work) and quit then load the game again and your players will be fresh;-). (works about 70% of the time)

Scouting
Get your scout up to 10 in 1st season, then Send him out everywhere in the world. There are some potential stars in every place.
Africa: M. Omaboe
Americas: K. Bridge
England: D. Milner
They are the ones i can remember off the top of my head...hope it helps.
Also...buy from Brazilian league anyone under 22 and over 75...lots of cheap potential stars.

Challenge Mode Hint
The size of reward earned in Challenge Mode depends on the team you used for the challenge. Use a club with a lower star rating than your opponent to maximize the points awarded for success.

Young stars
Upgrade scout to 10 and deep search in rest of Europe a few times he will finally find A.Marriot from Ireland he is a keeper starts as 71 and in second season is 86 next season best keeper in game at 97 also buy keeper called Diego from Almeria in Spain is 22 and rating is71 second season he is 82!

A new David Beckham
Well if you are looking for a Left midfield player that plays like David Beckham but play on the left then J.Rothen is your man with amazing cross' and long balls to forwards to letch on to!

In Need Of Cash..???
In the transfer season, search for free agents and if there is any 80+ sign them. Play the next game they come to your club, place them on the transfer window and you will earn extra cash depending on the rating of the player. Also play all 4 friendly matches as you will have more time in the transfer season.

Best scout
Upgrade ur scout to 10 then scout in Spain for a midfielder in deep search in either the first, second or third season. you should come across two left mids: lumberas almunia, overall 89, and Arroyo who by the tenth season will be on 96 overall and he still goes up. he is the best player to scout for on Fifa 08.

Penalty Shooter 95%
When you need to kick the penalties, you must look at the player's head. Turn head to the left or right, use the analog or arrow keys, it depends on how you control. If you now for example use the arrow keys, then press left or right several times and shoot the opposite side. GOOD LUCK!

Best scout
Scout rest of Europe in manager mode in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd season. you will then find a striker from Czech republic called d.miller. he is something like 16 years old and overall 85, and he has a speed, acceleration, strength and something else of 99. by the time he is about 21 years old, he becomes overall 99.

Easy money for poor teams
If you want to be a team on manager mode but haven't got a lot of cash.
Go to club transfers and transfer all the players that are worth over 20 million and put them on your selected team.
Then go to manager mode then sell them to get loads of cash.
This worked for me with Tottenham and now i have over 300 million.

Scouting
Upgrade your scout to 10 and then do a deep search scout in England and you will find a player called K. Rayner buy him and he will go up to 92 and will only be on 20,000 a week. Also scout in Spain for a RB and you will find either Arroyo or Ponzio, Arroyo goes up to 97 and ponzio 92, both are good. Finally, scout in Rest Of The World for a goalie and will find someone called Sirotkin he will go up to 96 in his final season.

Direct Free Kicks in Fifa 08
In direct free kicks u can score goal with 80% conversion by using a hint. Just position the cursor little away from the wall, so that the ball doesn't hit the wall. Now press the up key and shooting key (D for pc) simultaneously till the power bar is complete . now the most important thing is the process should be simultaneous. more u press the two keys simultaneously more the chance of scoring...!!!! try it.... u can also press the side keys along with the two keys to get swing in desired direction

Glitches Newcastle
When the commentator says the name of the person in possession of the ball, they say 'Geremi' for Geremi and Martins.

No Players
Sometimes on Fifa 08 if you shoot and miss from a free kick, when the opposition keeper takes hi goal kick all your players will be off the field! You have to try and create a stoppage so they can come back on.
