Hints and Advice
This is not a code or cheat just some advice when fighting against Seraph in the mission Seraph's Tea House you can do 2 things If you lose you will go to the last 2 missions but if you win you can see the oracle like in the movie and go through a lot more missions and see more exclusive movie clips.

If you beat the game you get to see an exclusive preview of the Matrix III where you can see nowhere else ( at least for now) Beat the game the preview is very cool.

HACKING ENGINE TOOLS
Hacking engine tools:
In Hacking engine (which is accessed from the title screen), there are a number of directories and tools that can be useful (such as spawning a weapon within The Matrix.).

Morpheus message
In the Hacking engine, instead of using "GUEST", you can LOGIN as FREEMIND or COWBOYCURTIS to hear a message from Morpheus.

Unlock Sword
To unlock the swordfight, follow these steps. Open the Hacking program from the main menu. Open a file that has the game completed. Note: You must have completed the game first in order for this cheat to work; and the game file you select at the Hacking menu must have the game completed. Type LOGIN and press Enter. Type GUEST and press Enter. Type DIR, then a space. DIR should now appear in your command list. Access the B Drive through the DIR command. Select TOOLS from the B Drive. It will be locked and will ask you for an access code. The access code consists of 1s and 0s. You must guess the access code, as it is different each time. It is only five digits long. Once you have access to the TOOLS on the B Drive, type all the .EXE files (without the .EXE after them). For example, type DECODE then a space. DECODE will now appear in the command list. Repeat this for all other .EXE files in the TOOLS folder in the B Drive. Now, access VIRTUAL on your command list. Type in FROZENFISH as the password. An authentication test will start. An image of a Chinese symbol will appear, but it will be scrambled. The image is broken into 9 squares, and each square will have five different choices. You must change all the pieces so that a complete image appears. You have a limited amount of time to do this. Once you guess a correct image, the timer will stop and you will be taken back to the hacking screen. Look at the top of the screen. If it says "Solution: Blue", then the line will be traced and you will have to enter TRACEKILL and then press enter as fast as possible or all progress will be lost. Once you enter TRACEKILL, you will have to start back at accessing VIRTUAL on your command list. However, if it says "Solution: Red", then you will hear a message from Neo and get access to the V Drive. Open the V Drive and get all the commands from the TOOLS folder on your command list. Open the ROOTSEARCH program. Now, open the ROOT folder in the B Drive and get the two commands there on your command list. Enter the MAIL command and type THISISNOTREAL as the password and type YES. You will get a list of phone numbers:

Select the DIAL command and dial 001949555010. You should get a message from Persephone. Next dial 0013105550111. You will get you a message from Trinity. She will give you a number. Select PORTKEY and enter the number. She will start to talk to you. Type NO to both questions and she will give you a program called CRACK on your command list. Open it, then type 8RAM. It should look like this: "CRACK 8RAM". You now have access to the RAM drive. Go to DIR on your command list and access the RAM drive. A list of folder names will appear. Open the TRINITY folder. Get the Training command on your DIR by typing TRAINING then a space. Go to your command list and select TRAINING. On you command list, a file called SWORD.DSK will come up. Select it. It has now uploaded the sword onto you character in the Matrix. Quit the hacking program and select "Save Progress". You can use the sword when you start that game file. It can be used in any stage, but will only a [ear when fighting enemies by pressing Punch + Kick. You have to enter it again when you turn off the game. Go to the Hacking program, select that file again, select TRAINING, then SWORD.DSK.

Unlock all commands in list:
Enter the Hacking engine, then hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 at the command list to unlock everything in the list.

Unlock Everything:
With any game save file on your memory card, select "Hacking" from the main menu and choose your save file. Press any key and when "A:\" appears press and hold L2 + R2, L1 + R1 -- you should see the following message:

All files unlocked. Remember to remove this feature from the final version!

Agent Busting:
This works on levels where bottomless pits are available (like falling off a skyscraper).

The trick is knock Agents off buildings, if they manage to grab the edge simply shoot them a few times and Agents will attempt to dodge. Instead, they tend to let go of the ledge and fall off.

Killing Agents:
The agents can actually die if you manage to shoot them enough times with the grenade launcher.

Secret Combat Moves
There are several combat moves that they don't tell you about in the manual or in the strategy guide. I have found a few:

Custom combos You can use combos of punches AND kicks instead of punches OR kicks. You can even add a throw to the end of some. Try these: CIRCLE, CIRCLE, TRIANGLE, TRIANGLE
CIRCLE, TRIANGLE, TRIANGLE, DOWN + CIRCLE + TRIANGLE Gun throws Equip a gun and approach and enemy. Push Punch +Kick to perform a throw. Your character will pump a few rounds into them. You can shoot agents this way. Gun counters When fighting hand-to-hand, push the fire button, and your character will pull out the gun, shoot the enemy, and exit hand-to-hand combat mode. You can shoot agents this way too. Lethal unequipped Approach an enemy, barehanded. (This enemy must have a gun other than a pistol) Tap focus and action. Your character will take the gun right out of his hands and use it against him. Ghost always leaves the enemy dead after this move, and Niobe does 50% of the time. Defeat agents You can defeat an agent by using 3 shots from the grenade launcher or three offensive grenades (the latter is more difficult) or any combination, as long as you hit him with three. Then, you can take his gun. It is the .50AE, the best pistol in the game.

Chinatown and Skyscraper hints:
There are a whole set of levels in CHINATOWN apart from SERAPH'S TEA HOUSE. Levels in which thousands of Agent Smiths and commandos are chasing you. But you can't play them if you don't beat Seraph. If you don't manage to beat him you will skip straight to Logos where you have to escape and shoot down Squidies (killing machines). It is very difficult to beat Seraph at first. But, it's simple once you get the trick. You have to use slow-motion to defeat him. If your focus gets over just run around and escape Seraph's attacks. Your focus will come back soon. After you beat Seraph you get a new set of levels titled THE SKYSCRAPERS. When you are in these levels remember one thing. Don't attack the agents; just keep running where the GOAL TRACKER takes you.

Finish An Agent Level Faster:
In Chinatown you have to run from agent Smith or agent Smiths. One of those levels you will end by getting on a small truck. If you fall on the truck, the game should start loading for the next level. When the loading stops, you should still be on that truck. A policeman should be walking by, just wait a second and the policeman will get shot by an agent. I'm not really sure because I have not been on that level in a long time. The Goal Tracker/Destination Arrow should be pointing right Unless the difficulty setting is on hard. Instead of going right, go left, the same direction where the bullet came from that hit the policeman. Like I said, I'm not sure, but if I'm right there should be a yellow or gold fire escape that you can climb. After climbing the ladder there will be a door you can enter.

Kill Smith:
If you want to smash Smith you need to select the level were you need to run from Smith. in 1 of the parts you need to kill some guy's standing by a SWAT van, from there, climb up to the ladder, instead of going right go to your left and pick up the grenade launcher, than turn around and run to the end of the. when you are on the half of the platform you see smith jump on the platform, then select your grenade launcher and activate focus mode. then shoot three times at Smith, when you've done that you'll see he's wasted, you can take his gun and run. you can do this with all the smith's you meet nut meek sure you must fire 3 grenades before he's wasted. Note: You must make sure you'll keep distance between you and smith or you'll blow yourselves up.
 
Neck Breaking Attack:
If you are near an enemy, don't make any noise. Sneak up behind them and press the button that makes your character grab them by the neck. The second your character tries to grab them, press the focus button and instead of choking the enemy, you will snap their neck. It's a really cool move!

Running From Agents:
On the Chinese level you should find a lot of agents. If they gang up on you use focus and run forward while pressing the square button. The agents can't grab you if you are flipping, this is a perfect way to escape

Double Jump:
Have a gun out and regular jump at an enemy. When you get near the end of your jump, click the focus button and you will dive forward in focus mode. This is a great way to cross big gaps.

Backing Up Agents:
If you are being chased by agents, take out a gun and start shooting them. They will be too busy dodging bullets and it will give you a chance to run!

Hacking Shortcut:
Instead of typing in Yes or No you can simply type the letters Y or N. It saves time if you have several lines of code to enter.

Defeating Sephere
Let him strike first, and stay defensive ((Square)). After this, lay it on him then back off and repeat.

Defeat SWAT members
Take out any gun, go into Focus mode, then run and jump while shooting. When in Focus, your aim improves and the run and jump will help you dodge bullets.

Game trailer
Allow the game to idle at the main menu. It will eventually play the preview trailer that was used to promote the game through the website.

Alternate ending sequence
As Ghost, when you have to fight the man to see the oracle, you are supposed to lose. After you complete the game, go back and load that level. You can defeat him to get an alternate game ending.

Flashlight
You may have trouble grabbing the flashlightm which is actually a MP5 icon. To get it, take out your MP5 and waste its ammunition so that the gun is no longer in the inventory. The same goes for MP5 pistols. Once this is done, you can pick up the flashlight/MP5. Equip it to turn on the flashlight.

Powerade
Approach a Powerade vending machine and press (Square) near the buttons on the machine. A Powerade will pop out.
In the Nuclear Plant level where you get the UMP, look at the wall just before you go up to the tower to find a Powerade vending machine.
If you have low health and are in trouble, go to a Powerade machine. Press (Square) and a Powerade will pop out of the machine. Run on top of it, and if done correctly it will fill up your health.

Focus Counter/Reversal technique
Opponents such as Agents, Seraph or Smith have a high rate of reversal/counter which can deal large damage. On a high level, this makes offense not the most suitable option, as the more you attack, the greater the window of opportunity for your opponent to counter/reverse. Anticipate a punch or kick, and before it commences you must fully Focus. Take note of the opponent's stance, keeping a view of their hands and feet while still Focused. The precise moment you see the opponent begin to move their hands or feet to strike, press (Action) for a guaranteed reversal. The amount of damage dealt to the opponent here can be rewarding, as reversals are the most time sensitive and must be executed precisely during combat -- a misplaced reversal attempt can leave you vulnerable.

Running on walls
Press [L1] (Focus), while you are close to a wall. If done correctly, this should make your character run against the wall, then eventually do a cartwheel off it.

Jump off walls
To jump off a wall, put your guns away, enter Focus and jump toward the wall. When you are about to hit the wall, press (Jump) and you will flip off the wall in the air. If you want to do a bullet jump (the jump that you do in a battle with guns), draw your guns before you get to the wall and press (Jump) at it. Then, shoot away. You cannot shoot while flipping though. J

ump longer
Press [Up] + (Jump) without focus, then immediately press [L1] to activate focus. You will jump consistently longer.

Dodging bullets
When you are in a close area, Focus and do a wall run. Then, press (Jump) and move your character to the other wall. Next, do another wall run then press (Jump). You should still be in Matrix mode. If done correctly, you will be able to dodge a lot of bullets.
When playing as Ghost or Niobe, when you are under attack by someone you cannot see hold (focus) ([L1]) and press (Square). Ghost or Niobe will start doing cartwheels and somersaults to dodge the bullets until you find your enemy.

Longer wall flips
When doing a wall flip in Matrix mode, press (Jump) to do a longer flip. Note: You will not be able to fire your weapons while doing this. Be careful, and try not to use it around a lot of enemies.

Perfect accuracy
Get a gun (preferably a machine gun) and switch to first person view. Shoot and you will see that the bullets appear in a perfectly straight line, no matter what the weapon. This is extremely useful and works with any gun.

Stylish kills
Pull out your pistol(s) by pressing (Weapon Draw). Then, press (Punch) to hit your enemy with the butt of the gun. Your gun will disappear. While he is dizzy, pull out your pistol(s) again and you will automatically grab his head and shoot him in the stomach.
Press (Punch) + (Weapon Draw) ((A) + (Y)) as Ghost to grab an enemy and shoot them in the stomach; or pick them up and throw and shoot them in the air.
When playing as either Ghost or Niobe, hold (focus) and go up to someone that has a good sized gun (machine gun or sniper rifle). Press (Action). This will make them take the weapon from the enemy and do different things (throw them to the ground and shoot them or smack them with their own weapon).
There are three easy ways to instantly kill someone (excluding Bosses, Agents, and Vampires). Disarm someone with a long barreled gun (shotgun, MP5, sniper rifle, etc.). If you grab their gun, and smack them with the butt of it. Try disarming someone from behind, thereby putting them in a sleeper hold. The best way, though, is to have a gun out, and throw ((Punch) + (Kick)) someone. You will knock them down, then shoot their head.
If you have two pistols, hold (focus) ([L1]) and jump when you are in a combat with someone. You will dive forward and start shooting.
To break someone's neck, go up behind them and press (Square). When Ghost or Niobe starts strangling them, press [L1] (Focus).
When sneaking up on someone and choking them from behind, tap (focus) and your character will break your opponent's neck.
When fighting a policeman or SWAT member, take out a gun, approach the target as you would in hand-to hand combat, then hold [Triangle] + [Circle] + [R1]. Ghost or Niobi will throw the character to the ground, and immediately shoot them.

Use your gun in hand-to-hand combat
While in hand-to-hand combat at close range, press (Weapon Draw). You will kick your opponent backwards, draw your gun, and fire at him while he is still in the air. This is effective, fun, and looks good. Do this while Focused for added effect.

Change weapons
If two or more weapons are available, press [Left] or [Right]. This should cycle through your weapons.

Visibly holding the sword
Once you have loaded the sword on to your character from the Hacking engine, you can actually get your character to keep the sword in their hands all the time. Start a level with offensive grenades and an Agent attacking you. Throw a grenade near you and the Agent. Before the grenade explodes, use your sword on the Agent. As you are chopping away at the Agent, the grenade will explode and knock you over. When you stand back up again, the sword remains in your hand.
Get into a fight with an Agent using your sword. Throw a grenade at him, then start using your sword again. The reaction causes you to forget to put your sword away. Note: It is best to do this with the "Unlimited health" code.

Regain health and Focus
Find an area with no enemies. Remain idle and your heath and Focus will rise.
