Unlock Additional Skills Competitions
Successfully complete the skills competitions without
continuing more than 3 times during the entire mode. If successful, press and
hold Up while pressing selecting Skills Competition to unlock additional
challenges.
Easy goal:
The easiest way to score is when the goalie covers the puck and it is a face
off on either the left or right. Move the Analog-stick in the direction of the
shot to the net; put that to the goalie. When the referee drops the puck, press
Circle instead of X. The goalie will not be expecting it, and it will go into
the net.
Get the puck and try to get a breakaway. Stay in the middle at the sides of the
circles. Turn fast in either side and do a wristshot or backhand. Note: This may
not work every time.
Players never retire:
To make it so your players never retire in franchise mode, go to the roster
and press Triangle (edit player). Then, set his age to whatever desired.
More salary cap reductions
In franchise mode choose that you can edit rookies. At the time you are drafting
in the off-season you get back to the menu, go to ESPN and edit a rookie from the
position you need, immediately after this, you go and draft that player. When it is
the Rookie signing period sign for more than 5 years and their salary will not be a big deal.
This will give you 6 or 7 season with very good and cheap players. Also trade players
for low picks, and edit the rookie. The lower you draft the lower they will ask for salary.
Just remember RB are always taken by the 3rd round
