How to beat the Ice Queen and get the moon orb
First hit with close range attacker (Toan,Goro) with fire based weapon. Then when her defenses are down attack with ruby (using a stamina potion) attack with the strongest ring with fire based element. Repeat this until you finish her off. She has 400 hp. After you beat her Rando comes and gives you the moon orb.

How to Beat the Dark Genie
The Dark Genie has 3 phases. For the first phase you use either Toan or Ruby with their best weapons with the highest attribute in all the elements. Eventually two hands will pop out of the ground, when this happens look at the color of the hand and match an attribute with the color. Now, for phase two you should use Ruby with a weapon that has the Holy attribute. Also watch out for his cheap shots. Just make sure your health is over 60 when he does it. For phase three you should use Toan and attack the jewel in his mouth.

How to Beat Dran
To beat Dran, use Toan and Xiao. First hit Dran in the air with Xiao when he is about to attack. Then switch to Toan and run up and hit him as many times as you can while he's on the ground. Keep repeating this until he collapses. (watch out for him when he attacks. he will shoot at the ground and make a hole. if you don't watch out where you're going, you'll loose some life.)

Easy Way to Raise Strength for Xiao's Weapon
Go in the first levels of the first dungeon with Toan, use a strong weapon that you don't plan on using. Up that weapon to level 5 then status break it and put it on Xiao's weapon. Xiaos sling shot should be quite a bit stronger

Sun attachment
Get the foundation stuff and go to Jibbubu's house in muska laka and give it to him, he will give u a clay doll. Give the doll to the guy that want's the rare moon items and he will give u the sun attachment in return. Submitted by jack: 444drkcld

When you get the serpent sword build it up to the evilcise not that other sword because you can get it at any fishing area .

Unlock Level Demon Shaft
Beat the game and this new world will be available on your map

Demon Shaft Dungeon
Complete the game and save it. Go to the main menu and load the saved game. On the world map you now have a new location which is called "Demon Shaft" which is a 100 floor dungeon

Heal Up weapons
In Morune village at the beginning of the game, in the dungeon you should get a new sword or slingshot. If you use one of them and Gaffers buggy is not open and don't have more than 1 repair powder, then you can do this cheat. 1st go to the mayor house. Go in and use your repair powder. Now talk to the mayor and he'll give supplies. Do this as much as you want until your weapons are all healed up

Easy Gems
When ever you get into a duel this can be done. To acquire a random gem (diamond ruby amethyst etc.) you must get an "Excellent" rating in the duel. To do this you must get all the moves into the brighter portion of the duel box. These gems are VERY good. And can be acquired quite easily. They sell for about 600 gold each.

The 7th Heaven
Get the Serpent Sword and build it up into the Evilcise, then build to the Drain Seeker, next to the Dark Cloud and then finally to the 7th Heaven.

Never Fear
If anyone's missed getting a 7th Heaven sword for some reason don't throw away any Bone Rapiers if you find one, because if you build up the Bone Rapier into an Evilsice you'll be able to build it up into a Dark Cloud and then a 7th Heaven.

Relatively Free Up Grades
After you get the serpent sword, take the sword and go into the divine beast cavern with lots of health, lots of water, and one tram oil. Level 9 is good. Go there and oil the tram and go into the back plane, there reap all the treasures. Every time you kill an enemy with the serpent sword, before he hits the ground, change weapons and select the one you want to beef up. It'll get the ABS and take no damage. You can then take the tram back and forth to repeat (without leaving the dungeon).

Chronicle
After building the shop in Matataki the owl will offer you the Wise Owl Sword for 2500 gilda, buy it. It changes to Toans ultimate weapon, the Chronicle, faster than any other weapon the Chronicles Max stats are At:260 Mg:150.

Money for Kills
Go buy a bunch of bombs at any store where they are available, and kill as many enemies with them as you can. Almost every enemy you kill will drop an attachment. Since bombs cost 80$ and you can sell an attachment for 150$, you make 70$ for every kill you get.

Demon Shaft
After beating the final boss and watching the credits the game will say a new land has opened. Save your game and when you restart it the Demon Shaft will have opened up. The Demon Shaft is a 100 level dungeon with extremely powerful monsters it takes 3-4 hits with a maxed out chronicle to kill them but if you endure the Demon Shaft and beat its boss you will be rewarded with the chronicle II the most powerful sword in the game with an attack of 350

Easy Backroom Access
For easy backroom access go to Queens and their you can buy flopping fish at Ruty's Shop, which you can use to get into all the backrooms on the Shipwreck.

Defeating Master Utan
First he will spit seeds at you that are hard to miss. To not get hit by them you should use Xiao and use you strongest slingshot, I prefer the Bandit slingshot. When he grabs a orange, Switch to Xiao and shot him he will stop in his tracks and run around .Just do that every time he reaches for a tree.

Lamb Sword's Secret Ability
First you must get the Lamb Sword (the only way too get it is to build up the Wise Owl Sword).
Next you must get you WHP low, you will know it is low enough, because it will say at the bottom right corner, "The Lamb Sword got scared so it went into Wolf Mode" When it goes into that it raises its stats.

Note: It will go back to regular mode when you do an "Upgrade" or "Repair" it.
Hint: The Lamb Sword evolves into the Atlamillia Sword which evolves into the Chronicle Sword, the 2nd best sword in the game (The Chronicle 2 Sword which you find at the end of the Demon Shaft)

Mega Code
This is a complicated Code. First, start a new game. Then press X, O, Square, O, O, O, X, Triangle during the VERY first movie (don't press enter). Second, go to the dungeon. While there hold down L1, L2, and the Left analog stick (after Fairy King Finishes talking) and press Triangle, Triangle, X. This is the tricky part. Last but NOT least, let go of L1, L2, & L3 (Left analog stick) and press Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, X, X, X, X, X, X, X, X, X, X, X, X, O, O, O, O, Square VERY quickly. Or simultaneously press L1, L2, L3, R3, R3, R1. Ok... I don't want to tell you what it does but oh well. It gives you all the allies and all their weapons (even if it exceeds the limit) and that's a lot. You will get that and the weapons never break, your hunger doesn't go down and neither does your health or thirst! It's pretty hard to do!

Buying Stamina Potions:
After you put Suzy's store in queens back together she will want a name for it. Name it Fighting Watery and she will sell stamina potions.

Defeat Dran
This is a way to beat Dran in the dungeon. Shot Xiao sling shot and when Dran is down on the ground run up there with Toan and hit him. This may take a while depending on how strong your weapon is but it's the most effective

Hint
The EASIEST way to beat the Ice Queen Saia is to earn (or buy) about 10 to 15 Fire Gems. (You can load nine fire gems into one active box and not have to keep loading in.) Lock onto her and start throwing them, she freezes for a second in between hits so you are not likely to get any damage at all.

Free Items
If you do not build Old Gaffer's Buggy, you may still get free items from the mayor and build your weapons up very high to get ready for the second village, Matataki Village. Note: This will take some time, but is worth the effort.

Steve The Slingshot
Steve the Talking Slingshot, can usually be found in about any dungeon, at any level. However, he can be found most often in Wise Owl Forest, in the earlier territories. Try running through all of Wise Owl Forest repeatedly, opening every weapons (large) chest found. This may take a while, but it is worth it. Steve talks whenever you are locked on to an enemy, and may tell you its weaknesses, how cool he is, or just make funny comments about the enemy. This also works with Bosses.

How to beat Joe in one hit
First, you need the sun sword. Then, evolve it two stages to get Zeus's sword. Get the sword to full attack. Give yourself a stamina drink and put your sword on the highest element you have. Finally, give him a one-hit KO.

Get the ultimate sword
After you beat the game the Demon Shaft opens up. The Demon Shaft is an incredible hard dungeon. It has 100 levels and they get harder the farther you go. At the end you have to fight the black night but after you wound him a light shoot from the sky and kills him. From that light the Chronicle2 sword appears.

Tons of Free Items
This is a cool little trick that's easy to do, and can give you tons of free items you'll need, but can be fairly time-consuming. This is done in Norune village. The first thing I can tell you (and this is really important in Norune) is to NEVER set up or finish Gaffer's Buggy until you're done with Norune Village. When you put it up, the mayor stops giving you items, and you'll need his items to get this to work.
As soon as you get the Hag's house finished, she will store items for you. About 60 in all, I think. The trick is to get the free items from the mayor, and then take them back to be stored. You can do this as much as you want, all the way up to 60 total items. Think about it...if you get 60 repair powders saved up, you can save a lot of money on supplies until much later in the game. This is completely worth restarting the game for, no matter where you are.

Get Music Box Key
You will need a music box key to fight the boss in "Shipwreck." To get the music box key, you'll need to complete the Cathedral, then go to the Divining House and ask the nice lady to tell you about the queen's lost lover. Then go to the the guy you meet at first when you come to Queens (don't remember the name). He won't be in his shop but there will be a key. That key will open the music box. If you want strategy to beat the ice queen boss, find it on this page.

How To Catch Mardon Garayon
To catch Mardon Garayon you must have a poisonous apple. Catch him at the oasis in Muska Racka. Once he is caught bring him to a treasure with a trap on it, he'll show you the correct answer. The answer will be highlighted in red with the letters M.D. next to it. Submitted by Brandon Tay =nb62

How to catch the Maryan Garayan #2
The first thing u need is a poison apple, use that as bait and fish at the water fall in Matataki Village during the night if u r successful then u should get the Maryan Gatyan and a lot of fishing points.( You might have to wait a little while)

Maryan Garayan's Secret
When you catch Maryan Garayan go to a chest protected by a trap. Try to guess the trap. It will say "Maryan Garayan shows the right path." and when you choose the trap the trap will be flashing red and have a picture of M.G. by it. Also I'm not sure about this: He might disable the trap directly.

Kill Statues Early in the Game
You must have Xaio and a repair powder. First, find a statue. Then press O to lock on. Get a reasonable distance from it. And go rapid-fire. You will need to use a repair powder. You must use XAIO. Or just use a magical item.

Beat King's Curse w/1 person
First you need a lot of repair powders if Ungaga is weak, but if he's ok about 5-10 will do. Stay in one spot and he'll come at u and always keep his spinning thing on and he'll kill him eventually.
NOTE: Auto repairs r the best just line them up in your "active items" and if u have stamina drinks that works well.

Defeating Masterutan:
Use Goro for the entire time. Select Goro's Battle Ax, keep attacking the big ape, and trap him against the edge of the battlefield. He will eventually die.

Defeating Minotaur:
Use either Toan or Osmond. As the Minotaur runs around the arena, barrels will start to fall. The Minotaur will pick up a barrel and start drinking. Run towards him and attack, then retreat. Repeat this process and avoid his charge attacks for an easy victory. Note: The barrels count as Stamina Drinks to the Minotaur, so do not let him finish drinking, or one attack will probably kill you.

Defeating the Sun Moon Temple Boss:
First, use Ungaga to clear the dark wind around him, then switch to Toan and hit with a charge attack. Repeat for about fifteen to twenty times. This Boss is extremely easy.

Quick Money and Attachments
After completing the Sunken Ship and getting all City Pieces, go to the Fish Shop. Buy the Flapping Fish and an Ice Cube. Use the map and go to Sunken Ship level 1. Run around until you find the entrance to the back floors. Use the Flapping Fish when you find the entrance. A big fish will appear. Get in the fish -- press X when next to him, and choose the option to get in. Once you get to the back floors, all or almost all treasures will be gems. You can either use them for attachments or sell them. This can repeated as many times as needed.

Easy Experience:
Once you get to or past the Sunken Ship, go to the Fish Shop. buy the Flapping Fish and an Ice Cube. Go to the Sunken Ship level 14 find the "?" mark on the map. Use the Flapping Fish to get to the back area of level 14. There are 8 monsters each that give 24 EXP -- A total of 192 EXP each time you enter the level. You do not have to leave the dungeon once you have defeated all the monsters. Just go back to level 14 and return to the level 14 back area and they will appear again. If you have a new weapon that you want to build up, switch to another character that is more powerful. Get the monster's HP low, then switch to that new weapon and kill with one hit. Your new weapon will get the EXP.

More Items at Odd Gaffer:
In Norune (the first town) the Merchants name is Odd Gaffer. Now to have him sell more items than he usually does you MUST FIRST acquire Paige and Paige's House. Then complete Odd Gaffers Shop. He will now sell a lot more items then usual. If you don't however he will fall and hurt his back while putting up his sign for his shop thus not allowing you to buy many items. Do this! TRUST ME its worth it! He sells items good even at the end of the game! I missed out on this and believe me! I'm MAD.

Get the Serpent Sword in Matakitaki Village:
First make sure you at least have 20 rivers. If you scan the area you'll see 2 rivers on opposite sides one which is near Treant. Take the first river and connect it to the blocked off pond. Connect the rivers across town and connect the last river to the entrance to Treant. Next there will be a short movie of 2 forest fairies unblocking the river and allowing the river flow to Treant. When the movie is over walk to Treant with the hunter earring and talk to Treant . He will award you with the serpent sword.

Thankful Jack:
If you finish King's hideout before Jack's store, Jack will give you a Big bucks hammer and platinum ring for free.

Free Big Bucks Hammer & Platinum Ring:
These two items cost a total of 6,600 gilda, but you can get them for free! When building QUEENS all you have to do is finish the King's house and get "Ruby" the genie BEFORE you finish JACK'S STORE. Then when you finish Jack's Store Ruby appears and Jack is afraid of her. She tells him he has no manners and to show her some respect because she's married to the king. He gets all shook up and he comes out with the "big bucks hammer" and the "platinum ring" and gives them to Ruby! All this while Toan watches in amazement.

When in Doubt, STEAL:
Concentrate on locating weapons that allow you to pilfer from your enemies. The items you take are worth more than you'll find in most dropped gilda bags. The witches that live in the Wise Owl Forest and the Moon Sea will give up Poisonous Apples -- pound for pound the best fish bait in the game.

Fishing Fun:
Using the aforementioned apples, start fishing at the Oasis in Muska Lacka as soon as you place it. You can catch Mardan Garayan at dusk MUCH easier than you can at the falls in Matataki at night. Mardan's average over 200 fish points a piece only the Baron Garayan is worth more and he's A LOT harder to snag.

Why Mardan?:
Not only do you clean up on the fish points (which make weapon build up WAY easier than waiting for a gem or two in some backroom after a dozen dungeon trips), but as an added bonus Mardan will locate traps on all the Weapon (large) chests in the dungeons. No more guessing wrong or waiting for that ever elusive Treasure Key (which sell for 400 gilda each by the way).

Level Up Weak Sword:
Have you ever tried to level up a weak sword, and either end up breaking the sword or not being able to defeat the enemy? If so, please try this, to save you hours of work. First, have a GOOD sword (Sword of Zeus, Chronicles, etc.), and defeat an enemy. Now, get a weaker sword (dagger, Maneater, etc.), and have it ready. Equip the stronger sword, and go to an area where you can get a lot of EXP, defeat an enemy with the strong sword, and right before the enemy disappears, press the "Triangle" button, and equip the sword you want to level up. That sword (instead of the stronger one) will gain the EXP. This is really good for Status-Breaking your weak weapons, to make stronger ones even more powerful.

Easy Power Sword:
Try the cheat above, to level up the dagger, and status break it multiple times. Now, equip the status-broken dagger onto another weapon, then level that weapon up. Keep doing this to increase Attack power on the sword, without having to buy or find a Topaz.

Mardan Garayan:
On the Muska Lucka level, you can catch a fish worth over 500 fish points! You have to build the Oasis first, then buy Potato cakes, I find they work the best, then fish, I don't know exactly when you will catch it, but I cleared the Oasis one time first, then I went back to fish again and that is when I caught it, It is called Mardan Garayan, it is very colorful and is worth over 500 fish points

Get the Chronicle Sword
To get the Chronicle Sword first get the chopper dagger. Then upgrade into a gold dagger. I don't no the name. Then, upgrade it into the man-eater. after upgrade it again into the Atlamillia Sword. then upgrade it one more time and you'll end up with the chronicle sword. it is the second best sword in the game! This sword will take a while to get.

7th Heaven Sword
To get the extremely powerful 7th Heaven Sword you should start with the Serpent Sword, then upgrade it to the Evilcise Sword. After that upgrade it to the Drain Seeker Sword. Upgrade that to the Dark Cloud Sword. Finally you can upgrade it to the 7th Heaven Sword. The sword has a max attack power of 240, with End and Sp of 99, amd Mp of 110. It takes a lot of work to get, but it's accomplished easily by going to the back levels of the dungeons.

Weapon upgrade
When you upgrade your weapon you should go on customize before you upgrade it if you had any stuff in customize. If you brake your weapon it will disappear except for the weapon that you start with. If you upgrade it a lot it might turn into a different weapon if you go on buildup. If you go on status break it will break your weapon and turn into a ball and No More Weapon.

Ultimate Dagger
To get the ultimate dagger all u have to do is upgrade it to level 5. Then do status break. you'll get the synth sphere, and your dagger will still be there. Then all u have to do is put the sphere on the original dagger and there u go.

Tram Oil Heaven
First of all, you must gain Ungaga as an ally. After you have him, you got to get or build up to a Terra Sword. It seems that the Terra Sword has a bit of lucky magic in it. After that, go to the Divine Beast Cave and call forth on Ungaga while equipped with the Terra Sword on the either the first, second or third floor. Soon you'll be able to collect a lot of Tram Oils with just a few entries inside the cave. After you got all the tram oil you need, go to the back floors and keep collecting goods. ( I got seven tram oils with just two entries inside the cave. )

No Antidotes?
Well you may know that antidotes are hard to come by, this code is simple but valuable. If you get poisoned without a antidote drink but you do have a stamina drink, go into a nearby pool and drink the stamina drink, then wait until your stamina is gone and you're cured.

Collect the Alta Quickly
First you must unlock all of the floors, territories, etc... don't collect the alta until you have unlocked all of the floors all the way to the boss room. before you fight the boss back track to all of the floors and collect the alta . I don't know if it works for you but I thought it went by faster.

How to Beat Dran

Catch Umadakara
Go to the matataki village POND, and use a carrot for bait. It gives u quite a boost in your fishing points. ( i got a 104cm Umadakara and got 151 fishing points.)

Immediately use Xiaos and hit him once and then use Goro run behind him and keep hitting him with your best axe. (He should keep running away but keep watching your health if you haven't got very good defense a few hits could kill you).

How to catch the Mardan Garayan
Now don't get me wrong it isn't the Marayan Garayan that you caught in Matataki Village this is a different fish. First you need to get the Atla that contains the Oasis. You don't need to complete it. Then you need a poison apple. You need to cast out your line at anytime. then you should catch the Mardan Garayan. It will give your Fishing Points a big boost. (I caught a 108cm Mardan Garayan and got 229 fishing points).

Defeat Master Utan Real Easy
Immediately use Xiaos and hit him once and then use Goro run behind him and keep hitting him with your best axe.(He should keep running away but keep watching your health if you haven't got very good defense a few hits could kill you).

Cheat/Glitch: Abs & Power-Up Powder
If you are high on Abs and want to use Power-Up Powder without losing your Abs, simply go to the Item sub-menu and drag the Power-Up Powder to the weapon, it will ask for attachment confirmation. Check your weapon in the Weapon sub-menu and it will still have it's previous amount of Abs!

Easy weapon absorption
Go to Queens, buy ice and flapping fish, then go to back room of layer 17, and keep going back and forth. You should be able to get from 64-180 magical absorption points each time through

Potato Cakes For Free
To get a lot potato cakes u MUST have a weapon that has the ability to steal. Try to get a long range character as the thief (ruby, Osmond or Xiao) then equip the weapon that will steal and go to the moon sea. There u will find some moon diggers attack them and you will steal a potato cake! Repeat this as many times as you like, u can even use this to get money, just simply sell the potato cakes and u get around 100 to 150 gilda

To get to the next floors in W.O.Cave
The owl needs either a berry, a pointy chestnut, or a shiny stone.

Obtain double jump mode
Firstly obtain the required amount of orbs then when you have a sufficient amount go to the statue of the time god (there are a number of these posted around the levels) and select it from the Alastor section

Weapon Level-Up Tip:
If you're into upgrading your weapons and creating Synth Spheres, here's a helpful tip that lets you quickly raise low-level weapons to Level 5 so that you can Limit Break them in a sphere. The problem is of course that fighting tougher enemies with a low-level weapon not only requires you to repair it frequently, but it also takes a long time to defeat the enemy. But why fight with the lower level weapon? Simply pick your most powerful weapon, and quickly defeat the enemy. Now, before the slain enemy vanishes, switch to the weapon you want to upgrade. Since there is a small delay before the WHP for the defeated enemy is added, you can easily build up lesser weapons that aren't suited for the enemies you're fighting -- so that you can turn them into spheres and add their powers to your favorite weapon

Requests
When in a town ask some one how to rebuild their city. Talk to everyone in that town and fulfill their requests.Here is a list of what they give you. Norune Village: Wind mill slash. Matataki Village: Goro's Battle axe & a powerup powder. Queens: Toan's Macho Sword. Muska Racka:Ungaga's Mirage & a diamond. Thats it, none of the other cities can be arranged, all you get is events (no houses)
