Champions-Return To Arms

Item duplication
You can duplicate any number of items and give them to a character just starting out in the campaign. To do this, you must first have a saved game file that has the character with the item that you want to duplicate. Start a new game with up to four characters and import the character with the item desired to be duplicated into each of the characters (up to four). Give all of the items to be duplicated to one of them and save the game. Then, create a new game and repeat the same procedure; but this time use the character from the newest saved game which should have multiple items already. Note: To save memory card space, just keep saving over the duplicating file. Continue doing this until the number of items duplicated is reached. Start a new game creating the character you want for the mission, then import the character that has been duplicated and give the items to the character that is actually being created for a game. Finally, create a new game and import the character that you created and then gave the duplicated items to in order to start the game with whatever items desired. Note: This can also be done to generate more money by selling the duplicated items instead of keeping them with the character that was created for the new game.

Unlimited Attribute Points:
When you beat the first level boss, you will most likely get a prompt to hit SELECT in order to level up. Do not. Instead, go through the portal to the Four Horsemen bonus round. Right when you get there, press SELECT and use up those attribute points from leveling. Let the enemy kill you. Then choose to Try Again and your experience meter will be full once more. Press SELECT again to level up, and the points you just used will be still be added to you, but you will have three more! Do this as many times as you like.

Maintain Weapon Effects
In Champions: Return to Arms, you can imbue weapons with special abilities. If you do this to a summoned weapon (like throwing axes) the effect will stay with the weapon as long as the number you carry never drops below zero

Quick Gate Scroll
Instead of pressing Start and going to 'Gate Scroll', hold Square then press Select.

Importing Characters
If you have a character from Champions of Norrath, and he or she has better weapons than you can find, start a level with that past character and another character of your choice. (level doesn’t matter). Once you start, drop all the weapons and armor from the CON character. Your new character can now pick them up and use them as they like (sell or use). Save the game. Go back and start a level on your own without the CON character. They will still have the items and weapons. Note: this also works with items and imbuing elements (Fire beetle eye, storm shard, etc...)

Easy arena levels
You must have a Shadow Knight with Raise Army. When playing the arena in single or co-op mode, in round two of every board once your score appears cast Raise Army. You must have characters alive when you move onto the next round. When the third round comes up, every enemy will die. This is helpful because the third round is always the most difficult. This trick works on the second round as well, but it is better to save it for the third round.

Sword In The Stone:
Beat a series of 5 bosses in the last bonus round (the Bloodstone one). You need all 11 Bloodstones to get into the extra area in that last bonus round. Once you defeat the last boss (Innoruuk), you'll "feel like a champion." Now you can go back and draw the sword from the stone. While the sword has a level minimum of 33, you don't have to be any particular level to draw it out.

dmg: ~220-270
+50 strength
100% health regeneration
lvl 33 to equip
weight: ~19.2

Caves of Mt Greindor
When you are sneaking around in the caves and you get discovered, instead of turning belly up just scroll back to Firiona Vie. Scroll back and when you get back the enemy that was chasing you will stand there like your not even there while you take off for the finish line. This works with one chasing you as well as one hundred.

Bull Figurine:
The Bull Figurine can be found on the Gnome's Island that you will eventually have to go to, if you have not already. This boosts your stamina while it is in your inventory. It does not have to be equipped, it just has to be in your inventory.

Permanent gems in weapons:
You can add a permanent enchantment to your weapons by casting any spells like Lightning Weapons, Cold Weapons or Fire Weapons with your wizard. The idea is very simple: equip your weapon, cast the spell (or have a wizard friend to cast it for you) and instead of waiting for the effect of the spell to wears off simply go to the inventory screen and unequipped the weapon and wait until the end of the spell before equipping your weapons back. The effect of the spell is now permanent on your weapon.

Snowblind Penguin in the Plane of Torment
Towards the beginning of the Plane of Torment, off the side of the path, you can see the top of what looks like a tower. On top is a the Snowblind Penguin walking around.

Hidden Tomb:
While playing the forest of Norrack on mission mode, enter the caves and search through the jars until you find the archeologists shovel. Then complete the level and move on to the forest of nightmares stage and find the spiritual incantations scroll in the dungeons. Then go back to the forest of Norrack (You might want to complete the nightmare stage first or your data for the level will be erased) and enter the hidden tomb to the left of the caves (now that you have the shovel) and use the spell to open the sealed door to later face "tomb robber" the secret boss.

Quick Cash Increase
Since mana and health bonuses don't work, add them to an item you are going to sell. It will increase the item up to 4000+ gold where the mana and health only sell for 999

Shadow Knight Arena
You have to be using the Shadow Knight for this to work. After you kill a round of enemies and the score of how many enemies you killed comes up, revive as many enemies as you can with Raise Army. All of the enemies you have revived will die at the start of next round.

Infinite Gold
This cheat is almost exactly like the duplication method. First: choose a character with plenty of gold, 200,000 or more is best, if you don't have this much gold just use the duplication method to sell lots of stuff. Second: import that character twice on two player mode. Third: buy whatever you want with one of them and then give it to the other one. Fourth: save this in a new slot. Keep loading the guy with the most gold and whoever you want to buy stuff for and you will have infinite gold.

Simple Doubling Method
First, start with a character that has the item, save it, then exit to menu.
Next, go in and hit [Start New Game] and hit two player, then the difficulty you were on (example: Champion) then import your character twice drop the items, and save over your old slot. since progress is tied to your character, all of your progress will be saved and all the Planes will still be open. keep repeating this process to get as many items you'd like.

Infinite Attribute Points:
This is easiest to do after the very first mission. After you fight the first boss you should get the message to press select for a level up . DON'T PRESS SELECT. Instead continue through the portal and go to the bonus round with the four horsemen. Now as soon as you enter press select and distribute your 3 attribute points (If you don't want to take all day adding attribute points allow yourself to level up 5 or more level without using your attribute points, this way you will have more to add each time). The skill points you have to place WILL NOT carry over so put it anywhere. Now let the enemy kill you. Select try again and your exp meter will be full again. Press select and you will see that the 3 or more points you put there last time are still there but you have 3 more to distribute........repeat as desired. There is no limit to how many time you can use this, just depends on how much time you want to spend doing this.

Faster movement for Shaman:
When you get the giant growth, cast it and save your game. When you exit and load you will be able to move just as fast but you will be normal size.

Fight Mithaniel Marr or Cazic-Thule:
First, you need to have beaten the game, this works on any difficulty. Depending on which side you chose will determine which boss you will be fighting over and over again. Now for what you have to do. Enter Plane of Tranquility (evil) or Plane of Fear (good), fight the boss determined by your side. Once the boss is defeated, you can loot all the armor or gear dropped off by him. After they have died, click the "start" button, then click "End this mission." When the Planar viewer is brought up, select Plane of Nightmares. Wait for Plane of Nightmares to load up, once it has loaded, click "start" again and select "End this mission" again. When Planar Viewer pops up again, select Plane of Tranquility or Plane of Fear. When the area loads, you will see it has refreshed, and the boss will be there again, you will be able to kill them and repeat.

Defeating the Dragon:
In the Plain of Fire you will fight an extremely difficult Boss. An easy way to defeat him requires two players. Have one player hit the dragon so it will chase him or her. Have the player who hit the dragon stay a few inches away from it. The dragon will then breath fire on that player. Have the other player kill the dragon. The dragon will not turn on the other player. You should have a weaker player kill the dragon so that they get more experience. You can also try using the player with the best melee damage, although a single player can do this trick as well. You must wait until the Dragon begins to take in air. When this happens, attack the dragon's side. Never attack the face or back of the dragon, as it has a powerful bite and tail wipe attack.

Defeating The Four Horsemen:
The Four Horsemen can be difficult to defeat. Use a Vah Shir Berserker with a high Summon Throwing Axe spell and a decent melee weapon and armor. When the battle starts with each horseman, run as close to them as possible. When you get close enough, their horse will stand on two feet and try to knock you down. When this happens, run around them. When the horse is on all four, hit it with your strongest melee weapon. After a while of taking a beating, the horse will leave. Next, you must defeat the rider. Each rider has a different spell. To defeat the riders, run around and throw your throwing axes at them. This will take awhile. If you run out axes, use the spell Summon Throwing Axe. You can use mana potions, just not health. If run out of mana potions, run around until your mana regenerates. An easy way to know if the rider is about to use his spell is when he lets out a loud scream. It is a good idea to use a Vah shir Berserker at level 10 or higher. By using a Berserker, you will not have to use a single potion unless you get hit bad. Remember, in order to win the challenge you are only allowed to use no more than four health potions.

Level 20 character:
Start a new game with a Champions of Norath saved game file that has a quick level 20 character. To do this, start Champions of Norath , then hold L1 + R2 + Triangle + R3 . Save the game. Start a new game on Champions Return To Arms and import the new character from Champions Of Norath . The character should be level 20 with 999 skill points. This does not work for the new classes and races

Defeating Mithaniel Marr:
To kill Marr easily, develop a good male or female ranger, then just range him. From the start, make sure you have a bow that can do at least 90 to 120 damage. If it has two sockets open, put any Whetstone in it and any type of Misty Globe. If you have a lot of points on Dexterity and Strength, your damage should now be about 250 to 400 points. Make sure that your Cold Arrow is at least level 3, your Mana is at least 250, and your Critical Hit is at level 5, 6, or 7. When the match starts, get on a good camera angle, put on your Critical Hit, and range him until he dies with your Cold Arrow. When you start your ranging, he will try to block your arrows, but unlike the normal arrows the Cold Arrows will always hit him.

This is directed specifically to classes that can summon an ally and can use a decent projectile (magic recommended because it does not run out). Summon the ally immediately at the start of the battle and turn on the map so that you can see the Planar Portal Arc located to the south. In the short time it takes for him to kill your ally, run to the arcs and get behind it. Because the middle of the arc is open, you can shoot him without getting hit once. Be careful, as he will attempt to run around and catch you. Just keep shooting him until he dies.

Negating enemy attacks:
Because the Shaman is a weak class, an effective way to avoid being hit with a melee attack or being shot with an explosive arrow is to shoot "Tagar's Insects" at the enemy. The spell is not good for damage but the enemy cannot attack you because it constantly hurts them, depending on what level you are. Use this time to kill them. Also, the spell can go through walls and hit enemies on the other side.

Reference to Samurai history:
In the Plain Of Valor, you will end up fighting an army of Samurai. There not generally difficult to defeat. If you watch one after defeating him there is a chance that you will see him on his knees. He will then stab himself with his own sword. Real Samurai did this to avoid bringing shame and dishonor to their family and/or lord.

Unlimited attribute points at Four Horsemen:
When you start a new game and level up, do not place your points. Instead, save them. By the time you defeat the Boss for the Plain Of War you should be at level 6 and have 15 attribute points. Go to the side mission with the Four Horsemen. Before you start the fight with them, add all 15 of your attribute points. Because this does not work with players abilities, do not worry about upgrading them. Resume the game and die. You will be prompted to try again. Do so and follow through the same process. When you go back to level up the attributes, the 15 points you placed earlier will be there, plus you will have 15 points to spend again. Do this as many times as desired.

Faster movement for Shaman
When you get the giant growth, cast it and save your game. When you exit and load you will be able to move just as fast but you will be normal size.

Ultimate Champion
First you need both CON and RTA to perform this trick, you will also need to have played CON until you have reached the Giant Air king in Champion level. Attack the Air king till he is almost defeated, Do not kill him, then run back to the save point and save your game. If you do not have a large amount of Explosive potions in your inventory gate back to the island and buy a few and gate back to the save point. Now use the item dupe trick to build up a major stockpile of explosive potions, 50+ should be good, and save your game. Remember, do not kill the Giant Air King yet, he must be alive in your save game for this to work. Part 1:Using Champions of Norath create a new character in a two player game, the first player is the only character you need worry about, so make that character the one you want to max out. Assign all the attribute points to the first player, name them and move on to your second player. When you get to the second players attribute point DO NOT ASSIGN ANY POINTS, back out till you are back to the first players skills menu, you should now have 20 attribute points to distribute again. You can go back and forth like this til 3 of the attributes are 100 and 1 is less then 100, if you have points left over when all you attributes are at 100 you will not be able to move beyond that menu and will have to start over. After you have your first player finished assign the points to your second player, name them "a", and continue into the game. After the intro and before moving any characters hit the Start button and go to add/remove players, and remove the second player. Now head straight for the save point, DO NOT KILL ANY ORCS. Your characters has to be completely exp. free for this to work. Part 2:Load your saved game from Tower in the Clouds before you kill the Air King. Hit start and go to add/remove player and import the character you created with no exp. into the second player slot. Drop all the explosive potions the first player has and let the second player pick them all up and save. Hit start and go to add/remove players and import the character with no exp. you just saved in Tower of Clouds into the first players slot and delete the second player. Now save this character in a new slot, do not overwrite any of the previous saves, you will need them later. Now run forward to the almost defeated air king and start throwing explosive potions at him until he dies, if you did this right it should only take about 15-20 potions, just avoid his attacks by running in a tight circle around him till he drives his lighting staff into the ground and is hunched over, then pelt him with potions. Upon his defeat your new character should be a level 50, you can hit select but DO NOT ASSIGN ANY ATTRIBUTE POINTS TO THIS CHARACTER. Let the clip with Lazlo run and then go back to the save point and save you game in a new spot. If you want you can import your character from the original Air king fight, drop all their armor and weapons and have your new character pick them up before saving, just make sure you save this level 50 character, and I repeat, do not assign any attribute points. Part 3:Start a new one player game on Return to Arms, it can be either Advent ours or Courageous, Adv works best if your just wanting to get it done, Cour may be good for another level up. Import your level 50 character from CON, he should now read as a level 51 and have 147 attribute points, do not assign them yet. Complete the Plane of War quest under good or evil, and unlock the side quest Blood Bath. Start Blood Bath read the bit about 4 potions and press X, before the Death horse gets a chance to attack you press Select, now you may assign the 147 attribute points however you like, do not use the skill points. Exit your character menu and let the Death horse kill you, Choose try again and once again the bit about the 4 potions hit X then Select, you will have another 147 points to distribute. You can do this over and over again as much as you want, and it goes a lot quicker then 3, 6, or 9 from just the start of the game. When you have the attributes to what you want say Strength 3500 Int. 3500 Dex. 3500 Stamina 4000 then you can assign your skill points however you want and finish Blood Bath, the four horsemen should be no problem at this point. One last tip, level up your stamina last, you want the horsemen to be able to kill you quickly at first so that this goes faster, if you load up your stamina first it will make you harder to kill

Mint character
First of complete the game with a normal character. When you've done that start a new game on two player and have the character you want to have with high stats as player two with player one as the character you completed it with. It will work for both of the characters but better with a new one. Keep killing the boss until you get your second character to about left 21 or 31 for 60 - 90 points.. If you have a lot of free time try and get them to level 41 or 51 120 - 150 points. Don't use any of the stats yet. When you have your desired level go to Frogsville and use the character you want to make with good stats. When your on the level use the stats and let the character die from one of the Kobolds. Click retry and your character should have all the stats after you upgraded but all of the points to do it again. Keep doing this until you have the desired stat line. Don't forget to save before doing this. On some the Kobolds might not hurt your character at all so if this happens load the game and go to the bonus mission where you have to collect the pearls and do the same with the points but let your air run out. And after some time of doing this you should have a character that can kill the legendary boss as if he was just another little guy. Enjoy.

Overweight
This only works when you have items that have strength bonuses (except Bull Runes). Equip the item you have. When your carrying capacity is close to your maximum, unequipped that item. When done correctly, your carrying capacity will be larger than your maximum. You cannot infinitely carry anymore things in this glitch. To get out of this glitch, re-equip the item.

Berserker combo
Pick the van shir berserker, get him to level 45 leveling up critical hit, blood lust, dual wield, battle cry and your choice of blunt or slashing weapons. also raise stamina and strength. dual wield 2 great weapons i prefer to put calmed misty globes so they have godly speed, blunt OR slashing, which ever u chose b4. before a boss, use blood lust and battle cry, because these take the longest to start, but DONT use critical hit until u see the bosses name. With these all on just swing away, he should go down in 3 or less seconds. I beat cazic thule on champion every time in 2 secs because of this and im only lvl60.

Leveling glitch
Best way this works is with a new person. Finish the first level (battle grounds) and save all your stat points then once you finish it you are able to fight the 4 horsemen go in and level up then exit the mission when you go back to fiona vie you will still have all you original stats but they will be set higher you are able to repeat this process as meny times as you would like and are able to incress you stats to 999.
