Champions Of Norrath-Realms Of Everquest
Hear the players talk
Allow the game to idle for over one minute. Your character will say
something like "Isn't there something more important to do?".
Dual Wield level 1
Start a new game and pick a dark elf. Go through the creation process
until you have to enter a name for your character. Enter the name you want and
before hitting the enter button hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + L3 + R3 + Triangle and
then while holding these down press enter and continue holding them until you get
to where you can actually move your character. Make sure you can press the Start
button to skip past the next story/movie and go on to playing. Now that your
ready go break some fruit baskets or kill some monsters until you get another
weapon. Now go into your items screen and in the weapons you have just put that
other weapon in your SK other hand. This also works for the barbarian.
Get 100 stats in all categories at
character selection
While starting a new game, choose a 2 player game. Pick a character that you want to use.
Once completed with that character move on to player two's character. Select the same character
that you did for player one including the same hair, skin, gender, and hair color. When you get to the
stat selector for player two's character, STOP. Go back to player one's character selection but only until you
get back to the stat selector. Do not go back any further. You will have 20 more stat points to put wherever you want.
Repeat this process until you have maxed out the stats of your character at 100 for each category!
Note: Stop this process when your last stat category has reached 95, because you will have too many stat points to distribute if you do it again.
Instantly go from level 1 to level 19/39/50
Once you get to the Cloud Giant King in the Tower of Clouds attack him
like you would any other time you have fought him, but stop just when he has a
sliver of life left.
Once you have his life down to whatever you consider almost dead, run back
to the save point that you found just before you got to the Cloud Giant King. It
is very important that you make sure he doesn't follow you back up the path
because the game engine doesn't let you save if it thinks that you are still
fighting anything and if that happens the cheat is impossible to complete. Once
you get back to the save point use a gate scroll. Go to the shop keeper and buy
about 20 or 30 exploding potions and gate scroll back. Once you are back drop the
potions on the ground. After you have dropped all of your explosion potions save
your game, but make sure you save it as a new file so that it doesn't affect your
current characters save file and whatever you, don't ever save over this file.
Next, create the character you want to get to a higher level. It is very
important that you start from the character creation screen and not to use a
character you have already been playing with because it will ONLY work with a level
1 ( 0 exp gained) character. Once you have your new character made, as soon as
you gain control of your avatar go directly to the save point and be sure not to
kill any orcs. Save your new level 1 character over any save file except for the
file that is your tower of clouds save.
After you have successfully saved your new character re-load the 'Tower of
Clouds' save file.
Once back in that game load in your new level 1 character into the 'Tower of
Clouds' save file, replacing your higher level character.
With your level 1 character go around and pick up all (or as many as you
can) of the explosion potions that you had previously dropped and run down
towards the Cloud Giant King. Kill the Cloud Giant King with the potions and you
will instantly become level 50 on Champion difficulty, 39 on Courageous, or 19
on Adventurous, with plenty of skill points to distribute.
Duplicate items<
During play, press Start and choose 'Add/Remove Player'.
Now in the Player 2 slot, just import the character you are currently using. Y
ou'll now have an exact duplicate of your character, complete with all the items and goodies.
Feel free to trade things from Player 2 over to Player 1, then remove the duplicated character, then sell back the duped items for big money.
Save exploit NOTE: on the alternate exploit it is only necessary to
have 1 save spot available. Level 20 character
Level 20 character and 999
skill points Ultimate Leveling Cheat: Defeat cloud giant boss easily Reach High Level Instantly Dual Wield Level 1 Faster experience:
Make sure you have room on your memory card for more
than one save. The idea behind the cheat is to import your own character into a
map you control. So, if you are after experience fight your way through the game
to a boss fight with an easily accessible save point. Fight the boss down to the
last hit and then withdraw to the save point. Save the game, this will be the
map reference. Now, go ahead and wander back towards the boss and kill him. You
gain the xp and loot of the boss fight. Return to the save point and save your
game on
Alternate exploit
Utilizing the save method, you can effectively farm
cash and items through item duplication. Drop the item on the ground you want
duplicated from your map reference save and then import your character. Pick up
the item and you now have 2, update your map reference save and then drop both
items now. Import your character and pick up both items and you now have 4 of
this item. This growth is exponential and over time will amount to insane
amounts of cash if your selling, or you can duplicate your favorite weapon to
dual wield, or just duplicate augmentations to slot into your armor.
Defeating Bosses
When playing in single player mode, make a duplicate of yourself to distract
the Boss. The boss will attack your copy and not your original character
Hold L1 + R2 + Triangle + R3 to increase a level 1 character to level 20.
Note:
Your character must be at level 1 when the code is activated.
When you begin playing the game after you have created your character and you
gain control of them, enter this code during game play: Press and hold L1, R2,
Triangle, R3. Your character should say something and you will now have a level
20 character and 999 skill points.br>
Duplicate items and easy money
Start a game with two controllers. Press Start and select "Add/Remove
Player". Select the slot for player two at the import screen then import the
current character you are playing into the player two slot. Select "Finish" and
player two will now be a duplicate of your original character, with the same
armor, weapons, and items. Sell the duplicated inventory items for money, then
repeat.
Act 1: Defeating enemies easily
Get the wood elves to block in the enemy then attack with bow or magic. This
works well against two guards blocking the Goblin caves.
Act 1: Defeating the head Goblin
When in in the goblin cave, to defeat the head goblin kill all goblins
except for him. Run around him to get him to follow you. Then, go to the center
part. Run away to the outer edge. If done correctly, he should get stuck. Shoot
arrows at him until he is dead.
Act 2: Defeating the Queen Mammothant
When in the ant hill, run past all Mammothants until you reach the portal
opening. Leave, save the game, then go back and fight the ants that followed.
Then fight the queen, but before you attack her kill all of her servants. They
will get in the way. Throw poison potions at her and if you are playing a Shadow
Knight, use a level 5 Disease Bolt. Slow her down and attack with a fire weapon
She should die easily.
To kill the Queen Mammothant very easily, when you walk in the room where you
fight her, do not move from the middle. Block her attacks when she does; she has
an easy to follow pattern. When she goes away, the ants still will not appear
and you will be able to shoot her with arrows. After you defeat her, kill the
rest of the ants by slowly moving or they will all attack you at the same time.
Faster experience
First, find a Boss that gives a lot of experience points. Before fighting
it, save the game. After you defeat the Boss, create another save file and save
the game on that file. Load the first file that you saved, then import your
character from the second saved game file. Fight the Boss again, then overwrite
the second file. Repeat the process until the experience points from the Boss is
not longer satisfactory. Remember to not overwrite your first save file<<
Get to the Boss in the Tower of Clouds (The giant that's right before
talking to Lazlo) and Beat him down until he has about 1 or 2 hits until death
then press start, go to add and remove players and make a new character that you
want to level really fast. After he/she is created, press start and remove your
old character from the game, (You probably want to save before doing this). Get
the last few hits in with your newly created level 1 character and your level
will jump accordingly: on the Adventurous difficulty you'll get level 15 with
all stat points and skill points for up to that level. On the Courageous
difficulty you'll get level 36. If anyone does this on the Champion difficulty,
post your results.
Massive Experience:
This exploit requires at least two save files (1800+ KB on one card) or for
safety reasons, two memory cards with at least 900 KB free (you can take out one
card and force save/force load your game from the other card). Again, this
exploit is for the Normal (non-Internet) Campaign only.
When you arrive in the final act (Act V: Plane of Air and Plane of Hate), you
are tasked to secure lost souls to free Fironia to help you battle Innoruk. Once
you free Fironia, you cannot enter the Halls of Despair any more, so create a
save game before you rescue Fironia and you can return there any time (import
your characters into the campaign) and you can keep earning experience and damn
cool equipment. Note that the Halls of Despair prohibits Gate Scrolls from being
used, so prepare to fight well to keep your items.
Consequently, once you rescue Fironia, you can use two cards to save your
progress after battling Innoruk for massive experience. After rescuing Fironia,
she tells you to locate Planar Steel to fight Innoruk. Once you locate Planar
Steel, you warp into Innoruk's chamber, so make a save before you do anything
stupid.
Yank out the card after you save and stick in another card with free space for a
Norrath save game. Pick up all the gear you want to carry with you into the next
game (weapons or armor you can't equip yet but would like to keep) and locate
the Planar Steel (it is not hard to do since the Plane of Air is rather small
and has no enemies). Go fight Innoruk, make him barf out some good items (pick
them up as well) and save your completed campaign on the second card. You can
now load the campaign from the first card (before you found the Planar Steel)
and import the characters from your completed campaign to make Innoruk pave your
way to higher experience levels. As a bonus, you can also sell the extra gear
you find. Just remember to save before searching for Planar Steel on card #1,
pulling it out and using card #2 to save the results of the battle after Innoruk.
Class Descriptions:
If you're just getting into your new EverQuest journey, here are some tips
to keep in mind concerning the five character classes.
Barbarian: Barbarians are the tanks of Norrath, and excel at melee combat,
specializing in weapons and armor. Unfortunately, barbarians do not recover mana
automatically.
Ranger: Relying on their bow skills, rangers specialize in long range attacks
and mana usage. They also have some spell casting abilities, but are more
focused on their archery.
Wizard: Wizards are very dependent on mana, and it shows in their attacks. Based
on the elements, their magic attacks are to be used to keep them out of harm's
way, as wizards are vulnerable in close combat.
Cleric: If used correctly, clerics can offer support by way of healing spells.
And while they do not excel at combat, they still possess limited weapon
use--blunt weapons only.
Shadow Knight: Using a range of evil spells, this class can attack with poison,
and summon monsters to help in the attack. They can also use melee attacks,
though not nearly as effectively as barbarians.<<
Once you start your fight with the cloud giant quickly move your player to
either the left or right and behind one of the fires. the cloud giant boss will
be on the other screen and wont be able to see you. because he is in the middle
just pelt him full of arrows after arrows, for me he went down after 150 arrows
on a 50-70 attack bow. I didn't even get scratched<<
First of all, you're going to need a strong character to begin with. You
have to reach the cloud boss on the Champion difficulty. Then, take you're high
level character and start attacking the cloud giant until he has a sliver of
health left (don't kill him or this trick won't work). Run back to the save
point and save your game.
Now plug in your second controller and create a new character by pressing R1 in
the empty P2 slot. Create you're character and then import him into the game
with the nearly-dead boss. Next, save you new character on a separate file and
take you're first player controller and get rid of first player so you're left
with just your level 1 character. Go to town and buy some fire potions and save
again. After you saved, it's time for you to head over to the cloud boss--you
should be able to kill him with 1 or 2 fire potions. After he dies you should
notice that your character has instantly reached a high level.
Note: This will only work on single player mode.<<
Start a new game and pick a dark elf. Go through the creation process until
you have to enter a name for your character. Enter the name you want and before
hitting the enter button hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + L3 + R3 + Triangle and then
while holding these down press enter and continue holding them until you get to
where you can actually move your character.
Improved character:
Note: This trick is slightly time consuming, but with patience you will be
able to stomp and improve your character further than the others. First, get an
object that enhances your character ability (for example, a Whet Stone, Storm
Shard, Ghoul Flesh, or Mana Regeneration) then save the game. Next, drop the
item you wish to add, Import the character you saved prior to dropping the
items. Pick up the items, then save over the last saved game done before picking
up the items. By doing this, you can take one item and the game multiplies it by
78.
Work you character up to level 45 or 50 (recommended). Then, start a new game
with that character. It would be a good idea to start in Champion mode. Make
sure that you are wearing have the armor and weapons that you want. Then, enable
the "Level 20 character" code. Your character will be back to level 20, but will
have the stats as if he was level 50. Because you did not not take off your
weapon or armor you can still have your level 50 equipment. Work though the game
until you get back to level 50, then you will have the stats of a level 100
character. This requires a lot of time, but it is worth it.
Developing a strong Barbarian:
If you want to play a Barbarian character legitimately all the way to level
40 or 50, use the following to make a supertank out of him. By following this,
at level 45 you will be able to kill the final Boss in two hits under the
champion difficulty setting. Do not bother putting any attribute points into
Intelligence; just put them into Strength and Stamina, with a little Dexterity
mixed in. When you start out with your Barbarian, alternate your skill points
between the Slashing (do not waste any points in the Blunt Weapons skill) and
Bind Wound skills. Every time you gain a level, put at least one point into
either of those two categories until both of them are at maximum. Early on when
you are still getting two skill points per level, put some into Slam and
Critical Hit to take care of the Bosses. Then, when you are getting three points
a level, start putting the third one into Critical Hit as much as possible. At
the point when you are finally high enough to use Ancestral Call, start putting
points into that until it is also at maximum. The main skills you want to have
20 points in by the time your level 45 to 50 are Bind Wounds, Slashing, Critical
Hit, Ancestral Call, and Slam. The other skills are your second priority,
although by the time you are at level 50, you will have lots of extra skill
points to spend into whatever desired. Start by saving the armor and weapon
components that you find so that you can increase your attack speed and skills.
Bull Runes, Bloodstones (use Bloodstones earlier in the game, but when you get
into higher levels, trade them out for Regen Stones to put into your armor),
Misty Globes, and Regen Stones are the ones you want to keep for the Barbarian.
If done correctly, your character will have over 1,000 health and be doing over
800 damage on normal hits<<
First, find a Boss that gives a lot of experience points. Before fighting
it, save the game. After you defeat the Boss, create another save file and save
the game on that file. Load the first file that you saved, then import your
character from the second saved game file. Fight the Boss again, then overwrite
the second file. Repeat the process until the experience points from the Boss is
not longer satisfactory. Remember to not overwrite your first save file.
Champions talk:
Allow the game to idle for over one minute. Your character will say
something like "Isn't there something more important to do?".
Revealing costume:
Equip the Elven Patchwork Armor to a female character. Then, unequipped the
legging. This works best with the Elven Cleric.
Resetting a shop easily:
Instead of running to the portal and warping twice to reset a shop, use the
following trick to reset a shop without having to move, and only loading once
each time. First, save the game. Each town has a save point near the shop, so it
is not that far of a run. Once your game is saved, position yourself in front of
the shopkeeper and see what he has for sale. If the shopkeeper is not selling
something you desire, import your recently saved character over your current one
and the game will load him/her into the game. Once your character has been
imported, the shopkeeper's stock will have reset. You can either drop the items
you buy until you are ready to move on, thus saving yourself money, or you can
be honest and save after each purchase. If you import and the shopkeeper still
does not carry what you want, just import over your character again repeatedly
until he has the desired item. While it may seem like a lot of work to import
repeatedly, it is still easier than running to the portal and warping twice.
