Call of Duty: Finest Hour

Glitch: Exceed Normal Ammo Maxima
Normally, all guns carry a nominal maximum of reserve bullets (i.e., MP40 carries 32 in the magazine and 160 rounds in reserve). You can exceed this maxima for your non-default guns by dying and restarting from a checkpoint.

The game will assume that you still carry the gun you previously had (i.e., MP40 in this example) and allow you to collect ammo for it even though you do not have the gun in your possession.
When you do choose to pick up the gun you've had on your previous play, you will find that you'll have more than the normal amount of ammo for that weapon.
This glitch has been verified for the PS2 debug version of the game on the following stages using the MP40 ('cause it's common folks): Dead In Her Sights, Raiding the Fortress, Last Bridge Standing, and Into The Heartland.

Invincibility
Go to cheats section and press Start, Start, X, Square, R1, R2, L1, L2 for it. Submitted by  Jon Conper...not tested yet

Invincibility
Description: While playing the game, pause it. Then type in square, square, circle, triangle, square, circle, triangle, square, square, square, start. Then you'll be invincible!!!!!!!!Submitted by John Zengehn

Easter Egg: Teddy Bear
In the stage Surrender at Aachen (Western Front), you will be in an enemy occupied house right from the start. The small room directly across from where you start from has a small teddy bear you may acquire with no known effect.

Cheat mode
Successfully complete the game under the easy difficulty setting to unlock the "Big Head", "Ricochet", "Head Shot", and "Ricochet All" cheat options. The remaining cheat options can be unlocked by completing the game under the other difficulty settings.

Russian campaign
On the first tank level in the Russian campaign, it is best to use first person view to shoot the Nazis that have Panzershrecks and MP-40s. The MP-40s cannot hurt you, but are annoying. If you use third person view, you will miss.

All levels:
Enter the level selection screen. Hold Up on controller two and press Start, Select(2), Square on controller one.

Infinite Ammo
Pause the game and press R1, Circle, L1, Square, Circle, R1, Right, Right, Circle, Right. Completion bonuses:
Successfully complete the game under the easy difficulty setting to unlock the "Big Head", "Ricochet", "Head Shot", and "Ricochet All" cheat options. Successfully complete the game under the normal difficulty setting to unlock the "Shink Shot" and "Dead Eye" cheats.

Tractor Factory: Easy completion:
When you get up to the sniping area, crouch down in the window. There will be some ammunition and health in the corner if needed. Get it if desired, then snipe the first wave of soldiers with normal guns. When your "comrades" say that there are Panzershrecks, concentrate all of your fire there. Do not worry about the regular soldiers because they cannot aim well. Shoot the Panzershrecks until you see a man running up the road with a heavy machine gun. Shoot him then go to the left window and continue.

20 story red apple with a lil' something inside
At the beginning of Operation Little Saturn, in the Russian campaign (it's one of the tank levels), turn immediately to your left and find a single tree sitting on the slope of the embankment that doubles as the level's collision wall. Drive up the embankment directly to the right of the tree and right through the level's collision wall. From here turn to your left and locate a road that follows around the mountain away from the rest of the level. Continue down the road and in about 30 seconds to a minute to should see a large red apple in the distance. Continue driving into the apple to find one of the strangest thing I've ever found in a WWII game... Besides a 20 story giant red apple, at least.

How To Easily Beat Tractor Factory Level
First when you get up to the sniping area crouch down in the window and there is some ammo and health in the corner if you need it. Get that and then snipe the first wave of soldiers with normal guns then when your "comrades" say that there are panzershrecks, concentrate all of your fire there and don't worry about the regular soldiers because they cant aim too good. shoot the panzershrecks until you see a guy running up the road with a heavy machine gun. shoot him and then go to the left window and continue what I just said and you'll b fine

Unlock Big heads, Head Shot & Ricochet All cheats
Finish the game one time with the easy difficulty setting

Unlock Dead Eye & Sink Shot Cheat
Finish the game one time with the normal difficulty setting

Get A Laser
In the third level there is a hall way at the top of the blown-up building. Go in the room with the chair directly across from it.
When you go in there is a closet. Open the closet and voila, a laser (kills in one shot and uses no ammo)

Note: Must have 100% health

Killing tanks
To take out tanks easy hide then use sticky bombs or mines

Easy beat sniper factory level
Stay to the window to the left and stay crouched. when he says they need you downstairs don't go outside you will die stay inside and snipe the three guys pinning your tankers down.

Russian Front -  Warehouse sniping level (with the tank crew)
Ok...Here we go when you start this level going out of the little sewer and the guy says that mortars are incoming just run right past him and into the warehouse (you might get a bit of shell shock Not to Worry!)

Once you get in the warehouse pick up the ammo and health then go strait to where the windows are go up the little stair and turn left and grab the health and ammo if you want... then crouch or lay down in the window about 2 or 3 away that is not blocked by wood....in a minute the timer will come on saying 10 minutes now just lay or crouch there till the men start coming (Men start from left side)

Now start shooting men and be careful...It takes a little bit to reload....Now when the panzer guys come out focus all your fire on them and some of the people surrounding them....Then the machine gunners will come snipe them and then shoot some more people and it will say coming from the right side now.. Now all you have to do is look to the right out of the window don't even move windows....now more men will start coming out and then the panzers....shoot them and then the machine gunners (but sometimes the come from the left...Watch the old blown up car...they set up there)

Then what you do is watch for more panzers....a lot of them come and the thing keeps switching from right to left, only machine gunners come from the left when its on the right side, when your done with the ten minutes you must shoot 3 soldiers to help the tank crew. Also watch out for panzers they shoot the doors down.
After you kill the 3 soldiers the men will run across from the big door to your left and down the stairs is the door one of them might be wounded help him then get in the tank when they say. There will be some men of Nazi in the warehouse probably so kill them then get in  Mission Rating 8/10

Next mission,
You must make it to Hq  and survive in your pimp tank...but first you must protect the one dude fixing the tank  DO NOT LET HIM DIE.... then you can drive the tank around and kill men.... Mission Rating out of 10 - 7/10

To get a Browing .30 Cal (machine gun)
When you are in the second level you will have to kill all the guys in the pillboxes (machine gun room type things. So when you are doing that you will go to the second pillbox after you do that you will see another path in the side when you are coming back look to your right and there will be another room and there will be the machine gun it does not have that much ammo so use it wisely because the last pillbox will have about 25 men in there so use it then and be careful and follow the arrow this might be confusing but just keep on trying and you will get it and you will be happy when you do get it. But on the next level you might not have it so you might want to try to use it on the bad guys (British).

First City To Fall: Easy completion
First, go to the building on fire and get the health pack. Then, wait until the tanks kill everyone and blow up the building entrance. Go inside and get the two health packs. Kill the man with a rocket launcher. Go outside and stand in front of the M12. It will not go anywhere. Get to where you can snipe enemies with the M1 Garand and where they cannot see the M12. Go get the health pack by the city gates and pick up any left over from the battle. Around the corner is a room with a rocket launcher and a health pack. Down the street are more rocket launching Nazis. Stand in front of the M12 and snipe the Panzershrecks again. Ease around the corner and there will be a building where about twenty five enemies will come out from. Set and snipe them. Go to the end of the street and into the building to kill two more anti-tank soldiers. Go in the basement and get a checkpoint. Then, go through the tunnels and get to the machine gun. Kill all the Nazis until the theater is blown up. Once they are all dead, go down another set of stairs and out the door. There are two Nazis with rocket launchers where the machine gun is located. Kill them and go down the sewers to complete the level.

The Flag Must Fall: MG42 machine gun
Go out of the building that you started at. Go up the hill outside, then go into the trench on your left until you reach a hill. Turn right, clear out the pillbox, then get out of the pillbox and go straight. Clear out the next pillbox. Go back out of the trench and turn to the right. There will be another trench here. Do not go into it yet. Pass it, turn right, and go downhill into another trench. There should be a path leading left as you enter the trench. Follow it and you will find the MG42, which is a machine gun that you can carry that is just like the stationary guns that were shooting you earlier.

Operation Saturn: Giant apple
Start the mission. .Back up slightly and turn to your left. Find the tree near the road with no leaves (just branches). Face that tree, then drive up the right side of it, going off the road that you were on. Turn left and follow the dirt path in the snow that leads away from the mountain. After the path turns, look in the distance to find a strange object. Drive towards it to reach a giant hollow apple, with a UFO inside.

Surrender At Aachen: Teddy bear
In Surrender At Aachen (the third mission in the American campaign), go through the door and kill the four Nazis (grenades are useful). Go to the area straight from the door that you came through. There will be a MP-40 and a teddy bear here. Pick up the teddy bear and you will receive health and a message stating "The Bear is adorable".

Underground Passage: Creepy room:
On the "Underground Passage" level, the second American mission, go down the spiral stairs and go through the door on the right. Clear out that room of Nazis and the next one past it. Then, go back to the middle room and clear it out again. Go to the walkway that has a field pack and a door. Throw two grenades at the door then go up to it and press Action. Note: You will not see an "Action" icon, but it does not work unless that button is pressed. Then, throw one more grenade at the door. It helps to throw it at the wall next to it so that it lands at the base of the door. This will blow it open. Go down that passageway to find the "creepy" room that contains a ghost baby in a crib, floating candles, a giant rat, a teddy bear, a "sticky" bear (basically a sticky grenade that you get 99 of), a flushable toilet, a MG40, and a Browning .30.

Underground Passage: Dance party:
Near the end of the "Underground Passage" level, the second American mission, is a boarded-up tunnel. Throw some grenades at it to blow it open. At the end of that tunnel are some Nazis having a dance party. There is also a Browning .30 in the corner.

There are also 99 Kaiser (bouncy) Bear grenades in this room.

Underground Passage: Bulletproof Nazis:
In the second secret room, you cannot kill the Nazis with bullets. However, you can with grenades.

Russian campaign:

Accurate firing
When you hold the trigger on automatic weapons, they have a tendency to stray up in aim. To prevent this, rapidly press R1 (or the button currently set for fire). You will still be able to fire as fast, without the negative effects

Big Red Apple
In the Russian campaign, right at the beginning of the mission Operation Little Saturn, turn left and find a scraggly tree all by itself along the embankment. Go over/through the embankment just right of the tree, and then turn left and find a road that leads away from the rest of the board. After a while you will see a huge red apple in the distance. You can drive right through it to find something else that doesn't belong in a WWII game.

Weird Dance Party
Head to the second level of the Western Theater (the stage is entitled 'Underground Passage').
At the very end of the level, you will approach a hole in the brick wall (after killing the final two or three Nazis) that will be the obvious exit out of the tunnels. Don't go through the exit. Rather, walk backwards (retreat) past the last alcove, to the second from the last alcove on the left. Look carefully. You'll notice that this is a boarded-up side tunnel.
It takes about four (or more) grenades to explode the opening. Grenades are apparently the only thing that will destroy the 4 or 5 planks loosely covering the opening.
Once open, head down the tunnel. It's just a few feet and a couple of turns to the dance party. Incidentally, there are 7 characters dancing around. 5 Germans, 1 Brit and 1 Russian (Tatiana).
Also, you can interact with the phonographs if you move behind the table. You'll see a radio(?) symbol appear (in the same way the symbol for moving your comrades appears). When you press 'x' you'll hear a record scratch sound (not terribly impressive).
There is also a M1919A6 machine gun that you can pick up in the room. Stay awhile, watch'm strut their stuff. The Russian woman takes the cake with some wacky break dance moves (there's even cardboard on the floor)
