Battlefield 2: Modern Combat

All weapons
Hold L2 + R2 and press Right, Right, Down, Up, Left, Left to unlock all weapons.

Intercontinental mode
In the start menu, go to cheat codes and enter the following for intercontinental mode: Start, cross, cross, cross, circle, circle, circle, square, square, square, start.

All Missions
Hold L2 + R2 then Right, Down, Down, Up, Right. Left. Submitted by Kyle Kallas

EA formation
After unlocking the Frag Grenade weapon challenge, complete all rounds and kill every enemy until round ten. If every enemy is killed, you will go into round eleven. In this round, the soldiers move and create the shape of first an "E", then an "A" as a reference to EA Games

Unlock Captain:
Win 8 Medals, 8430 Pts, and 65 PPH

Unlock Brigadier General:
Win 12 Medals, 19390 Pts, 85 PPH

Unlock Chief Warrant Officer:
Win 5 Medals, 3700 Pts, 50 PPH

Unlock Colonel Rank:
Accumulate 11 Medals, 16070 Pts, 80 PPH

Equipment Upgrades
Earning stars unlocks weapon and equipment upgrades to use during the single-player game.

Chinese restaurant reference
When you are playing conquest at "Bridge Too Far", go to the Chinese side. When there is no extra battle sound, you can faintly hear music that would be in a Chinese restaurant. Coincidentally, there is a building that looks like a Chinese restaurant in that map.

Limited mines and C4
The Engineer and Special Ops have a limited number of mines and C4 they can put down. Once you put down nine, you are good. Put down ten or more and the first one you put down will disappear or explode.

Avoid GTAMs
The only ways to avoid a GTAM is to either immediately bail out, dodge a couple buildings, or have an artillery strike fall on top of you.

Avoiding missiles
When in multi-player mode and flying a helicopter, if you start to get laser targeted (not GTAM), fly as fast as possible, and at the same time get as low to the ground as possible. By doing this, the missile will hit the ground and miss you almost all the time, if done correctly.

RPG Rocket Challenge
On the RPG Rocket Challenge, the further you are away when you blow a vehicle up, the more points you get. An easy way to rack up points is to take down a vehicle's shield down at close range, hotswap to a further away RPG man, then finish the vehicle off.

Avoid GTAMS
In Special Op if you get targeted by GTAM fly near the mountains near flag 6(Chinese Base and where the Lil' Bird Spawns) and the missle will miss you and explode on the mountain. It also helps to go fast and might not work if you are targeted by the GTAM at the American Base. If you can fly near a hill on other maps it might work 2.

How to unlock the extra medals

run over 25 or 50 or 100 enemy with a vehicle
kill 5 or 10 or 20 enemy vehicles with a stinger missiles
kill 10 or 20 or 30 enemies in a row with a grenade nest
kill 50 or 100 or 250 enemies in total using a grenade nest
kill 10 or 15 or 20 enemies in a row using a gun nest
kill 50 or 100 or 200 enemies in total using a gun nest
