Save Option Settings
At the password screen, enter START, START, START, START, START. Then go to the
options screen and configure the game to your desire, when you exit the options
main menu, you'll be prompted to save. The settings will be automatically loaded
when the game is started

Play as Bosses
Successfully complete the game once with any
character. After Sweet Tooth is defeated, save the game and watch your
character's ending sequence. Then all of the Bosses, including Crusher, Moon
Buggy, Super Thumper, RC Car, Super Axel, Super Slamm, Super Auger, Minion,
and Sweet Tooth will be unlocked.
Unlock All Secret
Characters/Levels
For every level you beat in Tournament, you will unlock a secret Deathmatch-only

Level Secrets
Construction Yard - Destroy door on the crane in the
middle of the map. You can control the crane by getting inside and then
pressing the X button when a car moves inside the target area. Make sure
to drop them in the fire area.When you come to the area where there are 3 rooftop ramps,
choose the very left one and it will take you to a conveyor belt with full
health on it. After going to the other side of the belt, there is an
object on the ground that can be blown up, revealing a secret basement.
Neon City - There is a balcony with full
health on it, but I can't find out how to get there yet. All I know is
that you can see it if you go on the train tracks.
Road Rage - Look for signs that say East Erie.
Follow their pathways until you come to an area where you see a blue glass
building that is behind the concrete road side. You can blast through this
to find a full health, and good weapon pickups.
Bedroom - Break the lamp to get lightning, and
then make sure that everyone is in middle before you use it. There are
several gasoline bottles that can be destroyed, revealing secret passageways to
full health and good weapon pickups.
Amazonia B.C.- Basically try to go from ramp
to ramp until you reach a portal that will take you to the top of the ring area.
At the top there is full health, lightning, and other stuff.
Oil Rig - You can destroy the helicopter
with an auto lob, or other elevated missile, but I wouldn't suggest doing that.
The helicopter drops off a half-health every couple minutes on the pad, but if
you destroy it, you only get power missiles and a couple other weaker pickups.
Minions Maze - Everything in this level is
at the very top, and the underground basement. Both are in the middle.
Carnival - To get inside the ghost house,
use something to blast the floor in front of the door with. There is also
an initialed stone at the bottom near the roller coaster with a breakaway floor
that takes you through a narrow passageway filled with gravestones. The
full health is on the roller coaster, and to get the lightning, turbo off the
coaster onto the big top tent. The best way to kill Sweet Tooth on this
level, is to get the proximity mine pickups, and force him to follow you through
the ghost house and onto the roller coaster. Don't try to face him close
up, because his special will tear you up.
Secret rooms
In Road Rage when you see the tunnel that has the arrows on it and slopes down
shoot the wall the the left of it and it will have a small road and a few
weapons like lightening.
In Amazonia B.C. there is a secret room to the left of the thing that shoots you
up on the land. It is on the lower part on the side that has the little
lands that you use to get to the portal.
Powerful special weapons

Bonus audio
Play track two of the game disc in an audio CD player
to hear music by Rob Zombie, Cirrus, Cypress Hill, Skold, Goulspoon, One Minute
Silence, and various voiceovers.
Play your own music
Press start then take the disk out and put a cd in and press start and you cd
should start playing
Different place in the level:
Up, Up, Down, Down gets you to hyperspace to a different place in the level.
Beat Super Auger and Super Slam
When fighting Super Slam and Super Auger in the Oil Rig level: The easiest way
to defeat them is to wait on the helicopter's landing pad with plenty of freeze
remotes and lay one on the edge. Then wait until either one of them try to ramp
over to you and freeze them while they're in the air, and they usually fall to
death.
How to get on the balcony in Neon City
You know where the portal is right? And the ramp that
leads into that one building, Well when you get into the room use a missile to
blow a hole threw the wall to your left. There's a little balcony with a green
car symbol. Wait there until the hover craft picks you up. Then it carries you
to another little balcony. Behind you blow a hole threw the wall. Then your in
another room and the balcony with the health is right there.
Rapid Fire
You ever wonder why there's such a long delay between
weapon firing? There is an easy way to fix this problem without going into the
password menu and typing in the cheat code for faster weapon fire. First, make
sure the weapons you wish to fire are as close to each other in your weapon
inventory as possible, then fire off your first weapon, then quickly switch to
the next and fire it, etc, etc. This MAY seem like a stupid tip, but it's
actually very useful. (For example, let's say that the fire missiles, homing missiles,
and power missiles are all lined up next to each other in the weapon
inventory-which they usually are if you have them-o.k.., now fire your fire missile
switch to your homing and fire, then to your power missile and fire--this must
be done very fast to ensure rapid fire)
SUPER EASY WAY TO KILL SWEET TOOTH--NO STRINGS
ATTACHED
I know a lot of gamers and "tip givers"
post ways on how to kill Sweet Tooth in an easy way, but this one is so easy,
it's not even funny. When you've killed everyone that needs to be killed in The
Carnival, make sure you have three proximity mines. Next, go into the portal
that leads to the top of the building directly next to the tent. Make sure you
have not moved AT ALL when teleported, lay all three of your proximity mines,
and get within safe distance, but stay on top of the building. Sweet Tooth,
being the idiot that he is, will sooner or later go onto the building with you,
but when he does, the proximities will blow him off the screen, leaving you the
victor. Sound Easy? It is. Just make sure he is not right behind you when you go
into the portal and lay these babies--it will take some time to lay them. Also,
make sure you had not had any confrontation with him when doing this to ensure
you the most safety-AT LEAST make sure you are not in his special when laying
the mines.
Turbo in Mid-Air
These is probably the least important trick in the
book, but is still useful. Let's say you have a guy (or girl) on your tail, and
you want to juke him out, speed off of the edge of a ramp and turbo backwards
immediately to get back on. I certainly do not find this trick THAT useful, but
maybe you will. FOUR PROXIMITIES AT ONCE?!?! This is VERY difficult to do, but
it is possible with a VERY fast vehicle. Obviously, the trick is to lay four
proximities in one area and to speed quickly away. Also, and this is with any
amount of proximity mines, do not just keep pressing the fire button to lay
mines--when you lay your last one, it will automatically switch to the next
weapon in your inventory, and if your still firing--KABOOM!! The coolest thing
about Twisted Metal 4 is the fact that even though there is a firing delay, it
only pertains to the weapon your firing. Therefore, you can have one
projectile/mine left for weapon, and if you press the fire button continuously,
it will fire them all pretty much at once.
The Rear-Attack Trick
The biggest glitch in the game is the rear-attack
trick. Although they took away the regular rear-attack from Twisted Metal
3(left, right, down) that allowed me to fire rear-attack so fast, they conveniently
left the rear- attack trick. What is the rear-attack trick?, you ask. Well I'll
tell you. When your completely out of weapons, and you do a rear-attack, it will
fire the weapon you had last, even though it is not there!! This is especially
useful for The Maze with the lightning! Just make sure you have nothing in your
inventory when you finish off your last lightning and you will be able to do
unlimited lightning until your next special pops up.
Hint
Go to carnival level and go to the haunted house door
and set a remote bomb on the fence below. Blow the bomb. Now u can go to the
roller coaster.
99 massives
Enter start,right,R1,L1.R1. WHEN done correctly, you
will hear laughing. when you are in the tournament/ deathmatch modes, press R1
or until you get back to what looks like your characters special weapon except,
it will say 99 for the # and "massive" for the name.
