When the blood is squirted press: L1, L2, left, right, up, down, up, down, down
+ up, L1, L2, L1 + L2
Get the Rocket Launcher
If you finish the game in less than three hours, your
saved game will allow you to start a new game with a Rocket Launcher. It has infinite
ammunition and can kill almost anything with one shot.
Special Key
In the room with the Large Mirror, there's a locked
closet that you can't get into. To get the key that unlocks that door, you must finish the
game with two characters rescued. (If you are playing with Chris, you have to have Jill
and Rebecca with you when you leave the Mansion. Jill has to rescue Chris and Barry.) If
you do this, your saved game will allow you to start a new game with the special key.
Inside the closet, you can change your characters' clothes.
Sub Machine Gun and Gatling Gun
Finish scenario 2nd under 2hrs and 30mins.Again, you will see a
reward sign after the staff. Get A or B ranking...
Beat the game in under three and one-half hours and you
will get the rocket launcher gun with unlimited rounds. when you get the rocket launcher
beat the game and save the people and you will get a special key to open
the closet and change your clothes.
Weapon Select
At the title screen press triangle, square, square, X
Alternate clothes
Rescue the other two players and finish the game. If done correctly, the phrase
"You've got the special key" will appear after the credits. Save the game. Start
the game that was just saved. Enter the room with the large mirror on the second floor of
the mansion. Unlock the door in the back. Enter the closet and move all the way to the end
of the rack of clothes. Then, a message asking "There is an outfit that fits you
perfectly, do you want to put it on?" will appear. Now select "Yes" to
change your character's clothes.
Reset game
Pause the game and press Start + Select. Then the game will reset and return to the main
menu.
Configure game (Japanese version)
Pause the game and press Start + Select. Now game options may be changed before resuming
the game.
Change difficulty during game (Japanese version)
Note: The game must have been previously completed on the hard difficulty setting. At the
title screen, press R1, L2, R2, L1, X, Triangle, X, Square. If you entered the code
correctly, you will hear the sound of a zombie. Now while playing a game, hold R1 + R2 +
L1 + L2 and press Select to change the difficulty.
Secret Character
To become a secret operations person (advanced mode only), at the screen
where you pick your player, Jill or Chris, enter the following code:- up, down,
up, down, left, right, left, right, L1 and L2 together, then circle, cross. If
you do this right you'll get a secret character called 'Ryan Hodson' and he
starts off with the colt python.
How to make the game easier
Start the game as Jill when you are in the dining room leave and go to main
hall then when the game takes you back to dining room try to leave again and Barry
will stand up and say something about losing courage or something like that.
Then go to Barry and when cinematic has finished go to the grandfather clock and
a zombie will come into the dining room and go after Jill. Barry disposes of the
zombie and uses a curse word. Go to where zombie was eating Kenneth and he has
no legs and no clips to pick up. I have been told the game should be easier.
Tricks
Here are some neat things in Resident Evil- If you beat the game under three
hours, you get a rocket launcher with unlimited ammo. If you beat the game and
Save Barry and Chris ( Jill and Rebecca for Chris ) you will get a secret closet
key which you can use on a door by a huge mirror. In there go to the end of the
closet and press x and it will ask you if you want to change your clothes, so
say yes. Then you will have a brand new set of clothes.
The best way to beat the game in less than three hours is to not get the colt.
Getting the colt takes up most of your time, instead go straight to fighting the
snake, then wait to get the pass code from Barry. Then head straight to the
library to get the battery that lets you go underground and there are less
hunters to deal with since you don't have to go through the entire house to get
the red jewel and the colt ammo.
The Four Endings for Jill
Endings One and Two are obtained if you take longer than three hours to
play. Endings Three and Four are obtained if you take less than three hours.
ENDING ONE (With Jill, Chris, and Barry)
After encountering Wesker in the hallway,
Barry will leave only to return a moment later and knock Wesker unconscious.
Both enter the lab and let the monster go. Upon its destruction, they leave to
find Wesker gone (he's gone into the power room) and the self-destruct alarm
sounding. After rescuing Chris, all three run through the emergency exit and
Jill takes the elevator to the helicopter port where she fights the biohazard
once again and destroys it. The helicopter lifts off and the scene cuts to Jill
resting her head on Chris' shoulder. He looks at Barry checking his gun and
smiles as the helicopter flies away from the exploding mansion. (Afterwards, you
will receive the closet key to change into street clothes)
ENDING TWO (With Jill and Barry)
All the aforementioned remains the same
except for the scene aboard the helicopter in which Jill speaks with Barry. He
begins to speak of his children but quickly stops himself, though Jill assures
him his family is all right.
ENDING THREE (With Jill and Chris)
Upon meeting Wesker in the hallway, he
orders Barry to leave and go above ground and Barry obeys. Wesker then takes
Jill into the labs and shows her the biohazard. He releases it and is killed by
its one large claw whereupon he drops the lab key. Jill kills the beast, takes
the key, and uses it to let Chris out of prison. Note, there is no alarm set off
and therefore no time limit. While going through the chamber that is connected
to the emergency exit room, Jill and Chris find Barry dying on the floor. He
asks for Jill's forgiveness and asks for her to give a picture to his family.
She agrees and he passes away. Afterwards, Jill and Chris finish their escape
and Jill goes to the helicopter port where she lights a flare. The helicopter
comes and rescues both of them (there is no fight with the biohazard). The
helicopter flies away from the mansion and over the forest and then cuts to a
scene of Jill resting her head on Chris' shoulder while both hold hands. The
camera then shows Chris in obvious pain from Barry's death. After the credits,
the scene then cuts back to the helicopter flying over the forest where you see
the shadow of the biohazard. (You will now receive the grenade launcher with
infinite ammo)
ENDING FOUR (With Jill alone)
Everything is the same as aforementioned,
though while on the helicopter Jill simply takes off her beret and sits in
silence. Once again the shadow of the biohazard appears in the forest. (You get
the grenade launcher with infinite ammo here as well) I'm not sure if there are
other endings for taking a longer or shorter period of time (my best time thus
far is 2 hours and 5 seconds). I have, however, heard rumors that there is a
code to play as Barry and possibly Wesker. What we really need is a code to play
as Akuma.
CODE
Hey I got a code for resident evil. you
have to start a new game as Jill. Then after you enter the dining room return to
the foyer. Wesker will tell you to investigate shots. The game will return you
to the dining room. Turn back to the door and try to go through. Barry will say
"Lost your courage already? That's no like you." Move to the blood
stain and look at it. Barry will talk like normal. Go in front of the
grandfather clock. As soon as you do this, a zombie will appear from the other
room and chase after Jill. Barry will kill the zombie and use a curse word.
Return to the foyer with Barry. In the cinema that follows, Barry will give you
a lock pick. Now go to the scene were the zombie was was previously eating
Kenneth (in the hall next to the dining room) and you will see that he has no
legs and no clips to pick up. The game is

O.k. when you are Chris and you get poisoned by the big
snake called the yawn its big a fearful, Rebeccer comes in and you have to get
the serum you don't have a time limit but if you don't come in a certain time
Chris will die and you will hear Rebeccer creaming and screeching you don't want
that to happen. trust me I've completed the game and I'm a master.
