Change Crowd Sounds
After scoring a goal press and/or hold the triangle button and you will hear one
of four sounds. They are: Crazed Fan, Bullhorn, another type of horn, and
Fireworks.
Change the difficulty level in
the middle of a season
At the opening screen, go to season and change the difficulty level to what you
want. Then keeping the level highlighted, press start, load your season and play
the game.
Easy Win vs. Team England
For an easier game against Team England, enter the password GIPTEA
High Attributes
When you start the game go to the part where they show the developers of the
game. Copy down one of the developer's names. Create a new player and enter the
developer's name. Your new player's attributes should be full.
Play as the EA Blades
To play as the EA Blades, enter the password EAEAO.
Sunday Jersey
To get the team's third jersey (otherwise known as the Sunday jersey), enter 3rd
at the password screen. Then you can choose their third jersey if the team has
one. Some teams don't have a Sunday jersey
Bonus teams
Enter "FREEEA" as a password. Then, the EA Blades and EA Storm teams will be selectable.
If these two teams are matched up together, fights will constantly break out.
Perfect player
Enter "GREATSKATE" as a password for a player with full attributes.
More fights
Enter "DEATHTOALL" as a password.
Big heads
Enter "BRAINY" as a password.
Animal heads
Enter “MONKEYS” as a password.
Big players
Enter "BIGBIG" as a password.
Faster game play
Enter "SPEED" as a password.
Very fast game play
Enter "SPEEDY" as a password.
View ending FMV sequence
Enter "VICTORY" as a password.
Super players
Enter "JAY MACDONALD", "BRYCE COCHRANE", "MARK JOHNSTON" or one of the other names in
the credits list, located on page 20 of the instruction manual as a player name.
Unlimited Goals
To do this trick you have to have both controllers in the
PS. First pick any game mode (exhibition, season, or playoffs). Next put the controllers on the team you are and the computers team.
Then start the game. Before playing pause the game with the #2 controller. Next go to goalie and scroll right until it says "pull".
Unpause the game. Wait until you see the goalie leave and go to the bench. Score 1 goal and pause the game again with the #2 controller.
Go to user setup or the menu where you put the controllers on the different
teams. Put the #2 controller in the middle of the controller select screen.
Lastly unpause the game with the #1 controller and play. If done right you will be able to score goals all day long
without worrying about a goalie saving the puck.
Three minute power-play
First, get into a fight, but do not punch the other player at all. Just stand there and let the other
player punch your player. If your player loses the fight, he will get a two minute minor for roughing
and the other player will get a five minute major for fighting. Then after your player serves his two
minutes in the penalty box, you will have a three minute power-play. If your team scores on that
power-play, the player will still stay in the penalty box because he is serving a major.
Alternate scoring sounds
After scoring a goal, press Triangle to hear various sounds and hold Triangle to play the current
sound.
