At the game options menu, go to user name and enter these passwords as names to unlock:

Bonus Cars
Complete Hot Pursuit mode with each police car to get a new car (BMW M5, Corvette,
Porsche, Caprice and Lamborghini).
Turbo Mode
Once you enable the Dashboard view, hold down the horn to accelerate faster.
Drunken Mode
At the Loading screen, press and hold Up + L2 + R1
Instantly return to road
After crashing or driving off the road, press Select to instantly return to the road.
Lots of cars
If you don't want to spend a lot of money and you want lots of cars. First you
get two decent cars then save them on two different memory cards. Now go into
High Stakes Mode and load both memory cards into a head to head war. If you want
to make it short, start the race, push start then go to forfeit so you don't
have to race. After you do this you can repeat it over and over. Soon you can
have lots of money and all cars
Don't
Pay
Save the game before entering big competitions. When you crash in a tournament
or special event and do not want to pay, simply reset the PlayStation.
Drunk Mode
After selecting your car, press Start to load the race, then before the loading screen
appears, immediately hold Up+L2+R1. Continue to hold the buttons until the loading screen
disappears. The screen will now be blurred, giving the effect you are drunk.
Heavy car
After selecting your car, press Start to load the race, then before the loading screen
appears, immediately hold Left + Square + Circle. Continue to hold the buttons until the
loading screen
disappears.
Drive any car in any tournament
Successfully complete all the tournaments. Additionally, select "Options" at the
car selection screen to choose upgraded opponents
Dashboard
Select any mode and select a track. Immediately press Up + Triangle + X and hold through
the loading screen. This should enable the dashboard.
Quick money
You need 2 memory cards and you must own a car to do this trick. Copy your High Stakes
file from the first card to the second card. Race in High Stakes mode, pause game play,
and have player 2 intentionally forfeit the race. You'll now have two of the same car on
the first memory card. Sell them for extra money, or keep them around as backups!
Super Car
When entering a username, enter "Hotrod" and you'll get a beast of a car to play
with. This cheat disables game saving though.
Easier Tickets
Start Pursuit Mode and choose a cop car. When the game starts, press L1+Up to turn off the
sirens. The person you're chasing will slow down. When you've caught up to him, press
L1+Up to turn your sirens back on, then pull him over.
Phantom car
Enter the "Game Options" screen and select the "User Name" option.
Then, enter "Flash" as a player name. If you entered the code correctly, the
phrase "Cheat Activated" will appear. Note: Enabling this code will disable the
option to save your game.
Titan car
Enter the "Game Options" screen and select the "User Name" option.
Then, enter "Hotrod" as a player name. If you entered the code correctly, the
phrase "Cheat Activated" will appear. Note: Enabling this code will disable the
option to save your game.
Get Phantom & Titan Without cheat
To get the Phantom you must complete all tracks in tournament with a first
place trophy. To get the Titan you must complete all tracks in Special Events with a first place trophy. (THIS IS POSSIBLE!!!)
Slow Down CPU Cars
After picking a tournament or special event mode press START to load the race
after picking
the game options then quickly HOLD Left + Square + Circle before the load screen appears.
Hold until the loading screen disappears.
Heavy car Select
Heavy car Select 'Create Player' at the main menu and enter
the following codes fetherw8 as your name for the corresponding

To get super cop cars arrest 10 speeders by the given time on hot pursuit

More Mass for your Car
After picking a single race, test drive or high pursuit mode press Start to
begin the race after picking options and immediately hold Left + Circle + Square before the loading screen appears. Keep held until loading is
done.
Easy Access to McLaren/ CLK
Just simply enter the McLaren/CLK tourney and then exit. Then you
should be able to race them.
Fly a helicopter
Enter the "Game Options" screen and select
the "User Name" option. Then, enter "WHIRLY" as player name. Note:
Enabling this code will disable the option to save your game.
Helicopter without cheat
To get the helicopter without the cheat you must go to Kindiak Park in hot
pursuit. You have to arrest 10 speeders with the caprice. If you do you will unlock the Chevrolet Corvette police unit. You must then arrest 10 more
speeders with the corvette. When you do that you unlock the Diablo police unit. Then again arrest 10 speeders with the
Diablo. Finally if you have done this you will unlock the helicopter. Believe it or
not, this is possible.
All police speak English
Enter the "Game Options" screen and select the "User Name" option.
Then, enter "Bigoven" as a player name. If you entered the code correctly, the
phrase "Cheat Activated" will appear. All police will now speak English, no
matter what country you race in. Note: Enabling this code will disable the option to save
your game.
Extra time in Hot Pursuit mode
Do not enter a name to get more time in single player Hot Pursuit mode.
Easier arrests in Hot Pursuit mode
Turn your sirens off (L1 + Up) during a hot pursuit as the police and the speeder will
slow down. Then once you are ready to arrest them, turn your sirens back on.
Turn signal and headlights
Hold L1 and press Left or Right to use the turn signals. Hold L1 and press Up to turn on
the headlights. Hold L1 and press Down to turn on the hazard lights
Activate Horn
To toggle the horn, hold R1 and press Up while driving
Jack your own ride for fun and profit:
Need money? Don't feel like actually racing for cash? Then copy your saved game
over to another memory card, change the username on the copy, and select high stakes mode. Once the race
starts, simply pause the game from the second controller, and forfeit the race. Repeat until
you've taken all the cars from the second memory card, then sell all your duplicate cars
for free money.
Easy Money with one Memory Card
You must have 2 cars or enough money to buy another. Go to 2 player
mode then high stakes. When it asks to save the game say yes. Now pick a track and continue. Now when it loads the car from the
memory card take it out of slot 1 and put in slot 2. The game will think there are 2
memory cards. Now beat the car it thinks is player 2 and you will win the car and can sell it
Speed burst without dashboard view
First you must input dashboard code, then quit and press up
triangle+ x. You will accelerate 150% faster.
Slippery Car
Hold down Triangle, Circle, X, Square and Up for slippery car.
Corvette and Porsche ltd. edition
Enter the special event called 'Corvette Pro Cup' and win a gold
trophy/medal in it and you will get the hidden car 'Pro Cup Corvette'. Next enter the 'Porsche Pro Challenge' and win a gold trophy/medal in it and
you will get the 'Pro Cup Porsche'. Both cars are supped up variations of its original counterparts. Note: Both events are
ridiculously hard so don't expect to win on the first try.
Get Tank
Put in treads as a name then highlight the Caprice and press Square
Get Indy Car
Put in FONE as your name and select the Phantom car. Press Start to
load the race and quickly press and HOLD L1 + R2 + Down + Select + X + triangle until the loading screen disappears
Place First in Tournament Fast (Requires Gameshark)
You need a Gameshark
for this.
Activate the 225 race points code then in the tournament, start the race then
as soon as it starts quit the race and you will be placed first. This code will not
work in Special Events though
Police Cheat Menu
Go to username and enter your name as NFS PD to unlock police cheat
menu Begin hot pursuit mode as a cop hold L1 that's your cheat menu hit up to turn your sirens off and the car you are trying to catch will slowdown
and drive the speed limit. When you want to pull him over get beside him and turn your sirens. Hold L1 and hit "SQUARE" to call for backup
Hold L1 and "triangle" for spike belt hold L1 and "o" to setup a spike belt
Eliminate Nemesis
Enable the "Heavier car"
code (and optionally, the "Turbo boost" code). If Nemesis is in first
place, slam or spin his car so that one of the other cars is in first, your car
is in second, and his car is in any other position. Nemesis should fall back
slightly. Regain first place without Nemesis passing you. Nemesis should fall
back into last or second to last place and will trail behind the pack. He will
remain in this position as long as he does not pass your car. If this is done
during a tournament race, he will remain in that position for the rest of the
tournament.
Gold Diablo SV chase
Select Hot Pursuit mode under the expert skill level. Begin game play and
look for a road block with a Super Cop with gold Diablo SV with blue and yellow
lights instead of the silver Corvette with red and blue lights.
Saving money
Save the game before entering big competitions. When you crash in a
tournament or special event and do not want to pay, simply reset the PlayStation.
Special event skip
Once the BMW Z3 Special Event has been
successfully completed, you need to enter the Tournament with the Camaro and
Firebirds. Forfeit the first race when it starts, then repeat this with all the
remaining races. Once this has been completed, you can go to the special event
and win with your Camaro /Firebird.
Hint
Select the first track in France in Hot
Pursuit mode. When your police car is almost aside the car being chased, get in
front of it and intentionally crash into the wall. If done correctly, the game
will register him as being caught with a very quick time.
