While playing a game, hold Start + Select in urban fighters mode.

Play as Akujin
Successfully complete urban fighters mode with any character on the hard difficulty setting to unlock Akujin in all modes.

Play as Gorilla
Successfully complete urban fighters mode with Travis and Michelle to unlock Gorilla in all modes.

Play as Kobuchi
Successfully complete urban fighters mode with Tetsuo and Ushi to unlock Kobuchi in all modes

Deform mode
Get a high score and enter the name DEFORMANIA. Deform mode will be unlocked at the options screen.

Skeleton mode
Get a high score and enter the name BONECRACK. Skeleton mode will be unlocked at the options screen.

Play as Kintaro
Use Gorilla to complete urban fighters mode. Kintaro will be unlocked in arena battle mode. Complete urban fighters mode on the hard difficulty setting to unlock Kintaro in urban fighters mode.

Play as Angela
Use Kobuchi to complete urban fighters mode. Angela will be unlocked in arena battle mode. Complete urban fighters mode on the hard difficulty setting to unlock Angela in urban fighters mode.

Alternate costumes
Complete urban fighters mode on the normal difficulty setting three times. Hold L1, L2, R1, or R2 while choosing a fighter at the character select screen.

Hard mode
Complete urban fighters mode with all characters on the normal difficulty setting to unlock the hard difficulty setting at the options screen.

Shadow fighter mode
Complete urban fighters mode for the first time.

Survival mode
Complete urban fighters mode for the second time.

Team battle mode
Complete urban fighters mode for the third time.

Street gang battle mode
Use Kintaro, Angela, or Akujin to complete urban fighters mode under the hard difficulty setting.

Arena 2
Use Gorilla to complete shadow fighter mode. Arena 2 will be unlocked in arena battle mode.

Arena 5
Use Kobuchi to complete shadow fighter mode. Arena 5 will be unlocked in arena battle mode.

Arena 7
Use Kintaro to complete shadow fighter mode. Arena 7 will be unlocked in arena battle mode.

Arena 8
Use Angela to complete shadow fighter mode. Arena 8 will be unlocked in arena battle mode.

Arena 9
Use Akujin to complete shadow fighter mode. Arena 9 will be unlocked in arena battle mode
