Driver 2

Invincibility
To switch on Invincibility, head over to Las Vegas. Get onto the interstate north of Tropicana. Check out the large tan and black structure, towards the end of it lies a switch which turns on invincibility

All Characters 
This is a long code -- 10 steps -- and may take a few tries to enter properly. You can do this code anywhere, but it's best to do it on the Multi-Player Character Select screen while looking at the last available character (Mishkin or Moonraker Elite). Then:

1. Hold the L and R Buttons and press C-Left. 
2. Hold the L Button and press C-Up. 
3. Hold the L and R Buttons and press Left on the digital Control Pad (NOT the Control Stick). 
Note: Doing this will select a different character on-screen. This is supposed to happen. 
4. Hold the L Button and press Right on the Control Pad. 
5. Hold the R Button and press Down on the Control Pad. 
6. Hold the L and R Buttons and press C-Left. 
7. Hold the L Button and press C-Up. 
8. Hold the L and R Buttons and press Right on the Control Pad. 
9. Hold the L and R Buttons and press C-Down.
10. Hold the L Button and press Down on the Control Pad. 

No sound is made to indicate the code was successfully entered. If you entered the code correctly, you will be able to select from nearly double the characters you had access to before. Note that this code will open all of the hidden characters, even if you haven't finished the game. One drawback is, your game will not save this code, so you'll have to re-enter it every time you want to use the extra characters. 

Cheats
Select the Havana Stage in a free ride. Select the second car and start the game. While driving hit "Start" to pause the game. Hold R2 and press Triangle, Triangle, R2, L1, Circle, Square. Now exit the game and start another free ride. This time you have all levels available and additionally 8 bonus cars. While driving again in a free ride press at the same time "Select + Start" to open the cheat menu.

No Cops
Steal a cop car drive it in water and it floats there you can do any thing do it in the undercover mode. Submitted by Ted101

Police killing and losing!
To lose a police=DRIVE STRAIGHT TO GET UP TO 888 mph.
To kill police=DRIVE FAST THEN HIT THE BRAKE & A DIRECTIONAL BUTTON, Then wait for him to hit you HARD!
OR...

Go ENGINE-2-ENGINE and HOLD circle And soon his engine will FLAME he'll die. (This does NO harm to your vehicle...AND NO felony!) Submitted by UltimateGamer

No Cops
At the main menu go down to options then go down to game play go into cop difficulty go to easy then press triangle than go to subtitles and go to on then go back and go to free ride. NOW THE COPS SHOULD BE OFF. Submitted by Peter talk

Get guns
When you are in Havana pause the game and press the following codes: L2x2, R1, R2, L1x2, X, O. Then go out of the menu screen, press L2 and that will draw the guns. Then press O to shoot. You have to be out of the car. Submitted by TTHUMPER2000

Get into a car backwards
Press down and triangle button to get into a car backwards Submitted by John Binkley

Daredevil Car Jump
Have Tanner jump out of the car while jumping over a hill by hitting Up and Triangle. This will send the car hurling off into the distance, which can be quite entertaining.

Get Yellow and Black Car
To get the yellow and black car go to Chicago. Head to the north of the city, which is called "Wrigleyville". Head to the baseball stadium there, and near the roach coaches, there is a door marked "Tickets".

7 Secret Cars In Chicago
Go directly North to the Ukranian Village and look for a building with 3 doors. Try them out...one works and then open the door (press Triangle) then it takes you into a garage with any different cars. In there, you will have a choice of 7 different cars that aren't in any of the levels. One is a Corvette.

Get out of car
To get out of your car all you have to do is press Up and Triangle Simultaneously.

Drive police cars and fire trucks
Its says in the instruction booklet that you cant drive police cars but if you find one parked along the road walk up and press Triangle and get in to it and you will be able to drive the car.  Also in Chicago if you look hard enough you should be able to find a fire truck if you do stop it! I've played the game many times and I have only seen it once.  If you get these cars press the horn button and the sirens will sound.

Open the door and look for the big stand. Head up to the back row, and run along it until you reach a tube to the parking garage. Inside the garage you'll find the car.

Undercover Level Skip
If you are stuck on undercover (any city) press: L2, R1, X, O, R2, L1, you can skip that level.

Level Select
At the main menu press and hold R1, R2, X, Circle. A starting car sound can be heard. Now you can choose any level you want.

Secret Areas
Some areas of the city are hidden, or inaccessible until Tanner has performed a certain action. This usually involves finding a building, which acts as a “key.” Outside each building is a switch, which, once activated, unlocks the secret area and displays a text message to inform the player as to the nature of the secret area/item.

Secret Games
Secret Games are unlocked the same way as secret areas are. You can access the Secret Games in the Main Menu.

Avoid police chases
Drive like you are one of the city cars and the police will not follow you unless you hit a car or building.

Reset felony meter
After getting chased by the police, get out of the car and get into another car. The felony meter will go back down to 0.

Stop faster
Press Triangle + Circle.

Take a break
While next to a chair, press Triangle. After your character sits, press the Analog-stick to change the camera angle

Watch The World Go By
Stand next to a chair and press the action button, Tanner will sit down and watch the world go by, Use the right analog stick to Look around

Leave Flying Car
Press Triangle + Up while you are in mid-air. You are now jumping out of your car while it is flying further.

Steal a Police Car in Chicago
Drive to Grand Park and search for the police car around the park. Now you can highjack the car.

Hints
When you see a police car, get out of your car, then hit him or shoot him (if you have a gun) and get into the car. Do it quickly or he will kick you out.
Another fun way to lose the police is to drive just to the left of a pole or other cars. Come as close as you can to the objects without hitting them because the cops ride a little to the right rear of your car. This could take a few hits, but it works.

Hint
When the police is following you, you could drive between two poles or two trees and you'll see that the police will crash

Hint
In the undercover mode you will have to destroy a truck, a car and an ambulance. The easiest way to do this is to get in front of them and just steer. This way the vehicle will ram you and damage itself while you end up with half damage.

Hint
Havana level, the mission is to find and destroy four cars to find a disk. Hijack a truck to damage the cars best. The truck is very fast and helps get the job done in time.

Hint
To easily get out of your car without pressing triangle triangle and more and more triangles just press up and left at the same time then press triangle.

Fastest car
Go to Havana in the day in a pick up truck and to the tunnel on the top left of the map and down the small road on your right and keep going until you see a big gray fence. Turn right and drive a bit until you see two gray poles get out you car and walk until you see a pole with a speaker on top. Press triangle and wait a couple seconds and it says you've it will say you've unlocked a secret area. Now go back to the gray gate and go through it. Now go underground and all the way to the end of the of the hall and turn right. Keep going until you see a drop. Go down it and drive up the road that goes up in the air and turn left 360 degrees until you see a little hall on you right. Go down the little road until you get into a big room and you will see a car in the air. Go to the left of the car and get in just press up and triangle at the same time and you will get in the fastest car on driver 2 and its a mini that's rust and as a pink top

Watch out
When you take a drive in Chicago and keep driving north you'll run into the draw bridge. If your fast you'll make it before
it is up to stop you, but go over the bridge stay on the right side. It is a slim possibility that the car will go right through the street and keep falling. If your still hitting the gas your car will go into a wicked sphere spiral. If you let go of the gas it will stop that spin. You'll keep falling and the game will display the saying "you have wrecked". If your lucky and the cops are still following you they will follow too.

Secret car in Las Vegas
Turn right on the first street and go straight ahead. Turn left to reach the Tropicana area. On the second street turn right and on the next left. Follow the S-curve and stop your car at the crosswalk.
Look left and you will see a gate and a building. Drive to the building which has 4 cones in front of it. At the end of the building will be an opened gate. Drive through and you will find the switch next to the fence at the end of the building. Get off your car and go to the switch. Press Triangle to open the gate you've seen first. Get back into your car and drive through into the new opened area. You will find the secret car behind the building that's in front of you.

Fast Vegas Pickup
Snag a fast pickup in Vegas by following these directions:

From where you start on the Las Vegas Take A Ride section, take the first turn on the right and follow it down south a good ways. When you reach the crossroads for the Tropicana section turn left. Follow this road eastwards for a short while and take the second turning on the right. On this road take the first left turn and you'll drive down a short curvy 's' shaped road. Just as you finish driving through the curves and are back on the straight road, you'll come to a pedestrian crossing. If you look to your left you'll see a building and a closed gate, and depending on what angle you've parked your car at there are also four orange traffic cones on the pavement.

Get out of you car here and walk a little way down past the closed gate until you come to another entrance. In here, on the left by the fence, is a switch. Activate it with the triangle button. Leave here an go back to where you first saw the closed gate. This will now be open. In front of you in the previously locked compound you'll see a building directly in front of you. Behind this is the secret pick-up truck.

Just around the corner from here is a secret area in which you can test your driving skills in your recently and illegally acquired new vehicle. Here's how to find it:

Leave the area from which you've got the new pick-up truck from and turn left. Follow this road to the end and then turn right. Go along here for a short distance and take the next left. After turning left you will see on the right a building, a fence and a wall. In between the wall and the next building is entrance to the secret area. Drive down here smashing through the barriers and hit the ramp at full tilt to enter the secret area.

A word of warning about the secret area; try not to roll your vehicle. Even though you might be able to get out of it there is no other way for Tanner to leave the compound other than driving back over another ramp

Secret area in Las Vegas
After you've unlocked the secret car, turn left to go back to the road.
Drive `till the end and turn right. Follow this street to the next intersection, then turn left. You see a building, a fence and a wall. You have to turn between the the wall and the next building to reach the secret area.

Secret Las Vegas Area
Get on and stay on Pandico interstate (changes to koval) and follow koval to the intersection of Koval and Tropicana. Then get on either off ramp and follow the road around one corner, then when you get to the second one look left and there will be a building by a wall. Go through the block aid and jump the ramp and you'll be there.

Vegas Invincibility
Even though you can always switch cars, its great to have a car that can never be destroyed. You can find this one on the main casino route-around lower mid strip. Traveling south about a block past the Eiffel tower is a store front for "Willacy's Pharmaceuticals" below a bigger sign for "Dollar Slots". Right there is a switch for the INVINCIBILITY cheat

Secret game in Rio
Turn your car around and drive to the end of the street. Then turn right, follow this road again `till the end and turn right.
On your right you will find several buildings with a fenced in area at the end. Follow the fence and stop at the last section. Look left and you will see the switch next to the building. Turn around your car and park it. Get off your car and go to the switch. Press Triangle to open a secret area. Get back into your car and follow the fence. After one half of the road, you will see two rows of palm trees, which is the entrance. Drive through to reveal the secret game in the behind of the building.
You can also unlock this secret game by winning the Undercover mission.

2nd secret game in Rio
Leave the first secret game and turn right to get back to the road. Follow this street and on the third opportunity turn left. Follow this road and take the second exit.
At the end, make a U-turn and follow the road between the on- and off-ramp. Follow the road after the first turn right `till you reach the fence. The switch will be on your right next to it.
This second secret game can also be unlocked by winning the Undercover mission.

Secret semi in Rio
Look at the very top of the map and find a part of the road that winds upwards like the following:

While traveling on this curved area, search for a switch on the north side. Use it to open a passage to the area behind the fence. Cruise around to get back there to find a blue semi.

Immunity Cheat
Take a ride in Rio and go to the police station (it's where you had to steal a police car in one of the undercover missions) at the right of it there's a building with 3 or 4 doors.  Take the door at the far left and open it, you will unlock the immunity cheat.

Get Mini-Cooper
To get the Mini Cooper in Havana follow the curvy road east. You should eventually come to a tunnel. Drive all the way through the tunnel and just as you leave it, you'll notice a road to the right with a few traffic cones in front of it. Follow this road all the way until it comes to an end some sort of fenced-off compound.

From here, turn right and follow the wall of the compound until you come to about five or six trees quite close together almost next to the wall. You will see a switch. Get out of the car and activate the switch by pressing triangle and then go back to the entrance of the compound which will now be open. Follow the road down into the underground car park and down in the very bottom of the car park is the Mini on a raised platform. There is another switch on the wall. Press this and the Mini comes down, ready for you to zoom off in

Unlock the Morris minor
Take a ride in Havana. Take a look at the map. To the left, where the tunnel is, you can see a road that doesn't seem to lead anywhere. Drive down that road and you will come to a gate. Drive a little bit to the right and you will find a pole with a button on it. Press the button and the gate will open. It will say you opened a secret area. Drive into the area and continue down underground. Keep going down until you see a big machine. Don't go down that last level where the machine is, but find another way that eventually leads down. There you will find a platform with a white and pink Morris Minor. Press the button on the wall to lower the platform. Now you can drive the car. You can choose this car the next time you want to take a ride in Havana.

Dune Buggy
To get the the dune buggy go to Rio. In free ride mode get the first red car you see not with a black roof. Hop in, hop out, then hop in again, pause hold l1, then press x, x, x, square, triangle, up, down, left, up, square, triangle, x, triangle, circle, x, triangle, circle. Hopefully you will hear a car noise un pause and the red car will have turned into a dune buggy.

Fly Helicopter in Rio
On the map on the west side there is a circles road w/ a giant hole in the middle, go to it.  On the exact opposite side of the entrance you will find a switch.  Hit the switch by pushing triangle then drive to the southeast corner and you will find a base type looking place there you will find the helicopter.  Get out of your car and get inside then fly around.

Rio
Semi-Truck As you look at the Rio map, you will see a little hump at the very top (drive like you are going to go jump off the boat). Right in the middle of the hump looking North you will see a building (there is only one building). To know you are in the right place, there is a fence on either side. On the West (left as you face North) of the building is a fence that has two white links, and then turns to black. The first white link part of the fence is the gate. As you look North at the building, the switch is to the right. If you reach the fence on the right, you have gone too far. 

Rio
Mountain Pass Game When you first start out in Rio (on take a drive) turn around. Keep driving straight and on your 4th block take a right. Keep going straight until you get to a place in the city called Santa Teresa. You should be on the highway, if not start this again, if you are then get off the highway. Press start and go to the map. There will be one road that leads to a swirly circle thing, road, type thing. Keep driving down that road until you get to a white gate. Stop exactly in front of that gate and to your right (have to be facing north) there will be a switch. Get out And go to that switch and press triangle. Then after that the screen will say "You have unlocked a secret game". To go to that secret game, exit out and you will be back at the main screen again. Go to options, then gameplay, then go to secret and you'll see Mountain Pass

Unlock the Ferrari in Chicago
Go to the pier you will find this along the right of the map, go to the Ferris wheel and get out of the car then pause the game hold down R2 then press L1,L1,L1,L1,L2,L2,L2,L2,R2,L2,R2,L1,L2,R1,R1,X, X, X, X, X, O, O, O, O, X, X ,L2,L1, L1, L1,then exit the game and when you start again you can choose the Ferrari as your car.

Get a sports car in Chicago
Take a ride in Chicago and go to the baseball stadium and go to the opposite side of the front gates and you should see on the tickets go to it and tap triangle and the front gate will open and go up the stand and turn right and keep going and you will see a sports car with black stripes

The Porsche
To get the Porsche get out of the car in the air port and go over to the airplane. Then Press L2 L2 L2 L2 L2 R2 R2 R2 R2 R2 R2 Square X  L1 R1

Flying Tanner
When you jump off a ramp with any vehicle you can get out of your car in mid air by pressing Up + Triangle, and its really cool because your vehicle will go flying. Also, while your driving really fast, you can make sharper/tighter turns by using a combination of Square and Triangle together so that at least two tires come off the ground and then you may also eject out of your car while it is moving!

Drive a Fire Engine
The fire engines are found in the Ukrainian Village.

I am Immune
You start by facing the interstate. Make a U-turn and go the other way. Turn right at the third street, which will take you past the big lake. Immediately after the lake there is an intersection. Turn left there to find a building with a garage door and a regular door. That building should have a barbed-wired fence at the top of it. To open the door, you need to go to the huge building to the right. It is black with white windows. There is a door on the very left side of this building, which is facing the other building you are trying to open. Push Triangle at that door to unlock the immunity cheat for no police. To access this cheat, select "Gameplay", then "Secrets" at the options screen.

Reset Felony Meter
After getting chased by the police, get out of the car and get into another car. The felony meter will go back down to 0.

Drive the Train
If you drive north in Rio, you can drive a train. if you go far enough north, find the train. get out of your car and go back to the streets. if you molest the first person you see he will say "Rape, Rape" or "Ahh you !..%$# pervert!" if he does so run back to the train get in and you'll get to drive it!

Stop Faster
Press Triangle + Circle.

Take a Break
While next to a chair, press Triangle. After your character sits, press the Analog-stick to change the camera angle.

Flip Your Car Over
If you flip your car to get it back on your wheels hold Circle while pressing left and right on the D-Pad (Back And forth).

Find The Witness

In the first level in undercover go to the map. Go all the way up on scroll. You will see a little dot flashing. Drive to it and you found your witness.

This Isn't No Lemon
Go to free ride and select Chicago. Then to Wrigley Ville and go to the stadium. After you are at the stadium go to the area to buy tickets. Go to the only booth that says "Tickets" and push Triangle. Then the screen will say "You unlocked a secret area." After you do that circle around and go into the open gate. Then head to the stairs, and walk up. Then walk all the way down and you will get a fast yellow car.

Get All Cars in Take a Ride
Beat the game once and you can pick any car that's in that stage. Even the police cars are selectable. NOTE: you still have to unlock the secret cars.

More Cars In Cities
In Vegas go down to the very left hand bottom and there should be a truck that looks like a SUV.
In Rio there is bus mostly on the big highway at the right of the map.
In Chicago there is a school bus. If you just keep going straight from when you started you should see this school bus.
In Havana there are two extra trucks. There is the one is like a mover's truck and the other is the same but there is no sides or tops on the back.
