Unlock all tracks
At the main menu select "Championship" mode and then select
"Continue". Enter you name in as OPENROADS, highlight OK and
press X. If done correctly a voice will announce "Trick Mode
Enabled." Return to the main menu and select "Rally". You will
now have access to all the tracks.
Unlock all cars
Enter "SHOEBOXES" as a name.
Reversed tracks
Enter "SKCART" as a name. Then, start a game in rally or
time trial mode.
All tracks at night
Enter "NIGHTRIDER" as a name. Then, start a game in rally
or time trial mode.
Green jelly car
Enter "BLANCMANGE" as a name. Then, start a game in rally
or time trial mode to race in a wobbly car.
Metallic cars
Enter "TINFOILED" as a name. Then, start a game in rally
or time trial mode.
Wavy car
Enter "MAGFLOAT" as a name. Then, start a game in rally or
time trial mode to race in a wobbly car.
Nicky Grist drives
Enter "BACKSEAT" as a name. Then, start a game in rally or
time trial mode.
Driver on right side in cockpit view
Enter "WHITEBUNNY" as a name. Then, start a game in rally
or time trial mode.
Four wheel steering
Enter "TROLLEY" as a name. Then, start a game in rally or
time trial mode.
Rear wheel steering
Enter "FORKLIFT" as a name. Then, start a game in rally or
time trial mode.
Micro machine mode
Enter "DIDDYCARS" as a name. Then, start a game in rally
or time trial mode.
Hovercraft mode
Enter "HOVERCRAFT" as a name. Then, start a game in rally
or time trial mode.
Fog mode
Enter "PEASOUPER" as a name. Then, start a game in rally
or time trial mode.
Turbo mode
Enter "MOREOOMPH" as a name. Then, start a game in rally
or time trial mode and press Select.
Turbo jumps
Enter "KITCAR" as a name. Then, start a game in rally or
time trial mode. Press Select when the bottom bar in the center of the screen
is green.
Fast acceleration
Enter "BUTTONBASH" as a name. Then, start a game in rally
or time trial mode and continually tap X, Circle to accelerate.
Low gravity
Enter "MOONWALK" as a name. Then, start a game in rally or
time trial mode.
Customizable replay
Enter "DIRECTORCUT" as a name. Then, start a game in rally
or time trial mode and wait after the race for the replay.
High-pitched Nicky Grist comments
Enter "HELIUMNICK" as a name. Then, start a game in rally
or time trial mode.
Faster frame rate
Enter "SILKYSMOOTH" as a name. Then, start a game in rally
or time trial mode.
Disable collision detection
Enter "GHOSTRIDER" as a name. Then, start a game in rally
or time trial mode.
Pursuit mode
Pause the game and press [Triangle + Square + Circle] six times, then press
[L1, L2, R1, R2] six times. If you entered the code correctly, Nicky Grist
will say "Alright lets kick it".
UFO: Enable the "Nightrider" cheat and then drive down previously blocked roads. A UFO will appear.
Addon to nightrider cheat
If you input the night rider cheat, then in certain places you can get
abducted by aliens. To accomplish this, go down a road that has been previously blocked BEFORE you put in the cheat. Funny goings on
there...

Type in buttonbash in the drivers name
Free driving
In the fifth track of Australia type in the code "diddycars" and after
the jumps which are after the train track there will be a fence which will come
in and then run along the side of the road. just at the corner, where the fence
starts there is a gap and drive through and you are out in the open and away
from the track.
Green Jelly Car
Enter "BLANCMANGE" as a name. Then, start a game in rally or time
trial mode to race in a wobbly car.
Play in the Dark
To race in the dark on any level enter your name as NIGHTRIDER and then start
any race plus you will notice that some of the blocked of roads are now open. If
you go down them then the car will stop and the lights will go off , then a beam
of light will flash on to the car and lift it in to the air.
Flying Cars
Type in moonwalk, Kitcar and hovercraft all after each other on time trial and
make sure it says "cheat activated" on every one! On a track use
select to fly, you will come down after a while but U can keep doing it!
On the Indonesian track on the beach you can get to Islands!
