Control Camera
Go to the Options Menu and set controls for L and R buttons to
‘Not Use.’ Change the ‘Camera Action’ to ‘Yourself.’ Set
‘Control Type’ to a number greater than 32. Start the game and press START to
Pause. Press and hold the O, Triangle, square, and X buttons then press the SELECT button
twice. Use the L and R buttons to move the camera and use the SELECT button to zoom.
To access additional camera controls
Begin a regular game, then pause it. While holding the
square, circle, triangle, and X buttons down, press select twice. Once the power
bars are removed, you will be able to use the shift buttons to pan and zoom
around the entire arena. To restore the game, simply hold the square, circle,
triangle, and X buttons down again, and press select
Desperation Moves On Command
First set controls to ‘Easy’ or ‘Very Easy,’
then activate Special Moves. When life bar gets into the red zone, press R1+R2+Down
simultaneously.
Instant Secret / Desperation Moves
First enter the codes to play as Gaia and Sho and wait
at the Main Menu screen. After the demo mode begins press start on controller 1.
While the words "1 Player Game", "VS Computer", and
"OPTIONS" are flying in from both sides of the screen, press DOWN +
LEFT + X on controller 1. You will hear the announcer yell "FANTASTIC"
and the text will turn white. Now go to the Main Menu screen and make sure that
the difficulty level is set for EASY or VERY EASY. Change your control type so
that L1, L2, R1, R2 buttons are set to SPECIAL. At any time during a battle, you
may now press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + SELECT to unleash your secret move. Whenever
your power bar is flashing red, you may press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 to unleash your
desperation move.
Instant Secret / Desperation Moves on any Difficulty
Setting
First enter the INSTANT SECRET / DESPERATION MOVES code
and wait at the Main Menu screen. After the demo mode begins press START on
controller 2. While the words "1 Player Game", "VS
Computer", and "OPTIONS" are flying in from both sides of the
screen, press Right, Left, Right, Left, Square on controller 2. You will hear
the announcer yell "FANTASTIC" and the text will turn yellow
Fight As Gaia
As soon as the title screen appears press Down, Down/Left. Left,
Square. When you hear a voice say ‘Fight!’ and the words turn from blue to red
start a one player game. Set the select screen so that Eiji is in the highlighted box and
press Up+any button.
Play As Sho
As soon as the title screen appears, press Down, Down/Left, Left,
Square. When you hear a voice say ‘Fight!,’ the words will turn from blue to
red. Wait until the demo starts then press START on controller one. Once the title screen
comes up again, press Right, Left, Right, Left, Square on controller two. The words will
turn back to blue if done correctly. Then go to the Select screen and highlight Kayin.
Hold down and press any button to fight as Sho.
How to Fight Sho
You must beat the game on the HARD or VERY HARD
difficulty settings. You can only use one continue to get to Sho, but you may
use as many continues as you wish to defeat Sho
Secret Normal Moves
First, enter the Sho and Gaia codes (see other codes for help).
Next, wait for the demo and press START. As soon as the Title screen comes up press
Down + Left+ X. After you hear a voice shout ‘Fantastic!’ go to the Option Menu.
Change the shoulder button controls to your special moves. Now, start a game. At any point
during a fight press R1 + R2 + L1 + l2 + SELECT to use your character’s Secret Normal Move.
Alternate Colors
To select your characters alternate color, simply press
and hold the Select button, then press SQUARE.
Special Moves to Left and Right Shift Buttons
To set the special moves to the left and right shift
buttons, simply set the game difficulty to very easy. Now scroll through the
available control settings, and you will find them readily available
View the Fight from Below (Invisible Floor
Set both controller types to CAMERA and make the power
bars disappear (described above) but DO NOT un-pause your game yet! Hold down
the L2 button on controller 2 until the floor disappears. Now un-pause on
controller 1.
Endings
Learn your characters DESPERATION MOVE when beating
Gaia. Learn your characters SECRET MOVE when beating Sho. In both instances you
must wait until the credits are over.
