Invincible
Pause the game and press up 6 times, triangle, triangle, O, X, X, X, square,
down, up, right left you will hear a monkey grunt, you can only die now if you
fall off a ledge.
All Gadgets
During Gamely, pause the game and hold
L1. Then press quickly Square, Circle, Up, Down, X, Square. You will hear a
sound as a confirmation.
Hint
When you have to face Jake the first time
go to the part with all these gladiator balls. Go to the left side. There will
not be a lot of gladiator balls. And its faster to!

Mega Jump
To do a mega jump just press start, start,
start, start. You should hear a monkey. Then press R1 or R2 3 time's. If you
press start again it will go away.
Easy Capture
Crawl up to the monkey that you want to catch, when in crawling
position swing your net at the monkey. The monkey won't notice you coming providing Easy
Capture.
Secret Tunnel
In second level of thick Jungle find the stop sign and push it out of your
way and there will be a Secret Tunnel.
Extra Lives
When you are in City Park, you can rack up extra lives, if you keep going
to the robot in the back and destroying him with the stun club, he will give you a free shirt every time you destroy him. So if you keep hitting "Exit",
and then go back and destroy him, you can gain a lot of lives by collecting the coins, destroying the other little enemies and of course, destroying the
robot in the back by the trees over and over, for a free shirt each time.
Easy Lives 2
Instead of using your stun club to kill the big robot in the level city park,
make the robot come and run to the little wall on the right side, and take out
your RC car and the robot should be shooting a ball of electricity but if you
stay on the right you won't get hit. send your RC car right in front of the
robot but not too close and it should blow up hurt him and just keep sending
your RC car until it dies then there will be a life there then exit the level
and re-enter for another life.

During game play pause the game and press R2,
Down, L2, Up, Right, Down, Right, Left
Beat Specter Easily
In Specter's First stage in the level MONKEY MADNESS, Instead of using the
Slingshot, Just ram the Machine using your Super Hoop.
Catch Monkeys without
the RC Car
There is a simple way to catch monkeys without the use of the RC Car. This is a
huge time saver as you don't have to wait unit the end of the game to get the RC
Car. All you need is the Sling back Shooter and one flash bomb. Here's what you
do. Switch to first person view with the sling back shooter and fire away at the
money until it runs to one of those little cracks. Then switch to the flash bomb
and nail him. Run over to him fast and equip your net. Grab him and poof that's
it. That's all you have to do. It may take a bit of practice but when you learn
it it really helps.
Hidden Mini-Game
Boxers
You can get extra boxers on the Specter Boxing mini game by defeating them on
Championship mode, although you'll have to run through it multiple times to get
ALL of them.
How to get Magic Punch
You get the MAGIC PUNCH after you finish the level SPECTER LAND and go back into
a level with monkeys you have not caught
Peak-Point Matrix
To get to the secret board in Ape Escape, you must beat Specter at the Level
Monkey Madness (the carnival), wait to the ending finishes (including the
credits), and then when the game gives you the option, go back to the Time
Station and save your game. Then, go to all the levels, and finish catching the
Monkeys you missed. When you catch every Monkey, the Peak-Point Matrox will open
up, where you will get to fight Specter for the last time, and finally catch
him. Then, you'll see the true ending.
Save A Life
When you fall off a cliff, press START and choose EXIT. When you will go to the
time station with the same amount of lives before you fell of the cliff.
Rear view mirror
During the ski mini-game, press L1 or R1 to bring up a rear-view mirror.
Debug Mode
Pause the game, hold L1 and press Down, Down, Triangle.
