Cheat mode
Enter the inventory screen and highlight the
"Timex-TMX" selection. Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Down + Circle and
press Triangle. Re-enter the inventory screen to access extra items. Quit the
game and go to the main menu to find a "Special Features" option,
which features an FMV sequence of the next Tomb Raider game on the PlayStation 2
Unlimited Health and Ammo
Press SELECT to bring up the inventory
screen and highlight the Timex icon. Now hold L1+L2+R1+Up+Circle then press
Triangle.
Unlock All Items for Current Level
Press SELECT to bring up the inventory
screen and highlight the Timex icon. Now hold L1+L2+R1+R2+Down then press
Triangle.
All weapons, infinite ammo, medikits
Enter the inventory screen and highlight the
"Small Medikit" selection. Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Up, then exit
the inventory screen.
All items
Enter the inventory screen and highlight the
"Large Medikit" selection. Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Down, then exit
the inventory screen
Special Features option
Enter the inventory screen and highlight the
"Timex" (TMX) selection. Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Down + Circle and
press Triangle. Quit the game and go to the main menu to find a "Special
Features" option
Cut Scenes (European)
Press Select+R2 at the main menu
to select different cut-scenes.
Unlimited MediKits, Ammo and all Weapons (European)
Select a small-medikit in your
inventory and press L1+L2+R1+R2+Up. This will give you unlimited everything and
additional weapons.
Secret Level
At the Main-Menu go to "New
Game" . Hold R1 and press X. If done correctly the new level will load
where Lara is wearing a leather suit.
Gallows Tree
At the Main-Menu go to "New
Game" . Hold L2 and press X.
The Base
At the Main-Menu go to "New
Game" . Hold L1 and press X.
Russian Base (Second Story)
At the main menu, highlight the "New
Game" option, then hold L1 and press X to start at the Russian Base
(Second Story).
Black Isle (Third Story)
At the main menu, highlight the "New
Game" option, then hold L2 and press X to start at the Black Isle
(Third Story).
Tower Block (Fourth Story)
At the main menu, highlight the "New
Game" option, then hold R1 and press X to start at the Tower Block
(Fourth Story).
Next Generation Preview and Storyboards
Start a new game and press SELECT to bring up the
inventory screen. Now highlight the Timex icon and hold
L1+L2+R1+R2+Down+Circle and while holding all that press Triangle. Exit the
inventory screen and once back in the game press START to pause the game and
then quit. When the title screen comes up a new "Special Features"
option will appear if the code was done correctly.
You can also highlight the Small Medipack instead of
the Timex, hold L1+L2+R1+R2+Down+Circle and while holding all that press
Square.
Quick Flare
To use a flare without going to the inventory, press Select + R1 (or R2 if R1 doesn't
work) anytime or when Lara isn't holding any weapon.
Stay Ahead of the Head
In the second level you will have to fight a stone head (but it will fire
lasers at you). To beat him you will have to combine your revolver with your
laser sight, when you meet him aim and shoot him in the eyes (he will fire his
lasers every 3 seconds so be careful but I didn't have any trouble with him).
Special Options Menu:
To unlock the special options menu first load up a saved game (mine was on the
13th Floor). Then die. When load game/exit to title appears, choose exit to
title. It should then be open with designs for a new Tomb Raider game and
storyboards. Alternatively just complete the game.
Hint
Go to the first level in the game and go to the bell tower.
Underneath the bell there is some revolver ammo. When all the ammo is used
then go back to the exact same spot and more shall come.
Open special features
Select a small medikit and press L1+L2+R1+R2+Down*circle. The main menu
now contains a "special feature" option.
Open special features (Euro)
Select the Timex-TMX and press L1+L2+R1+R2+Down+Circle. Press Triangle to
get back to the main menu.
Gallows Tree level
Highlight a new game at the main menu. Keep holding L2 and press X.
The 13 Floor Tower Block
At the main menu highlight the New Game option and then hold up,L1and x
Play on tower block level
At the main menu highlight the New Game option and then hold up,R1and x
Swan dive
Stand still with no weapons in your hands, then hold square, R1 and forward.
If you do this quickly enough, Lara will perform a swan dive.
Lara does a handstand!
Go up to a crate or something you can climb on, press up and cross and hold
them. In the middle of Laras jump press and hold R1. Hold all three buttons
down until she does a handstand . Then sit back n' look at her aerobic
abilities!
Unlimited Small, Large and Flares
Highlight the Timex and hold L1+L2+R1+R2+Down+Square press triangle to exit
your inventory go back to the inventory screen and you should have unlimited
Flares, Small and Large medipacks.
All Levels
BlackIsle: Press and hold L1+up+X
Search for the Spear: Press and hold L2+up+X
VCI Headquarters: Press and hold R1+up+X
