Spider-Man

Invincibility
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "RUSTCRST" as a code to make Spider-Man invulnerable

Level Select
At the title screen, after Spiderman lands on the building, quickly press: Y, A, X, B, A, RIGHT, and LEFT.

All characters in viewer
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "CVIEW EM" as a code to unlock all characters in the viewer.

Storyboard viewer
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "CGOSSETT" as a code to unlock the storyboard viewer.

"What If Contest?" mode
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "GBHSRSPM" as a code to unlock "What If Contest?" mode.

Ben Reilly costume
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "BNREILLY" as a code to unlock the Ben Reilly costume.

Symbiote Spidey costume
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "BLKSPIDR" as a code to unlock the Symbiote Spidey costume.

Spidey 2099 costume
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "TWNTYNDN" as a code to unlock the Spidey 2099 costume.

Captain Universe costume
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "S COSMIC" as a code to unlock the Captain Universe costume.

Spidey Unlimited costume
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "PARALLEL" as a code to unlock the Spidey Unlimited costume.

Scarlet Spider costume
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "LETTER S" as a code to unlock the Scarlet Spider costume.

Amazing Bagman costume
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "AMZBGMAN" as a code to unlock the Amazing Bagman costume.

Peter Parker costume
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "MJS STUD" as a code to unlock the Peter Parker costume.

Quick Change Spidey costume
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "ALMSTPKR" as a code to unlock the Quick Change Spidey costume.

Double Damage
Collect every Comic throughout the game. Your new suit gives you Double Damage

Full health
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "DCSTUR" as a code to give Spider-Man full health.

Big head mode
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "DULUX" as a code to give Spider-Man a big head.

Debug mode
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "LLADNEK" as a code to display debug information.

Unlock everything
Select the "Special" option from the main menu, then choose the "Cheats" selection. Enter "EEL_NATS" as a code to unlock all secrets in the game

Spidey's Swearfilter
Although this isn't really a code it's still entertaining. This feature was added for all of you "Potty-Mouths" out there in the gaming universe.
Access the Special option from the Main Menu. Now select Cheats. From here you may enter your favorite "Cuss" word and watch Spidey pop up from the bottom of the screen and swipe you nastiness away and replace it with some sort of "Freudian Slip".
We found our swear words being turned into some of the following: TAFFY, DONUT, LOBSTER, SODA POP, POTATO, BUNNY, FLOWER, SUGAR, NICE, PRETTY, LOVE, CAKE, CLOUD, HONEY and BALLOON. I'm sure there are more, but we all just got grounded for entering some of those words.

Unlimited Webbing
No longer will you wish for a little more web juice. By entering this code into the Cheat Menu you'll grant yourself the power of Unlimited Webbing.
Enter: STRUDL
Now enter the game and shoot away.

Unlock Joel Jewett
You'll unlock NeverSoft's very own President Joel Jewett. You can view him by accessing the Cheat Menu and enter:
RULUR
Now exit the Cheat Menu and enter the Gallery and select Characters. He'll be the choice at the bottom.

Armored Spider-Man
Unlock the Captain Universe costume. Go to the costumes and select it. Then, collect the Armored Spider-Man icon during the game to appear as Armored Spider-Man during the remainder of the game, including the intermission sequences

Unlock the 3rd Costumes for each character
Graduate the Academy with straight A's with any character to unlock their third costume which you choose by selecting them with the O button.

Eddie Brock
At the Cheat Menu enter the word "Weavervenom"

Symbiote
At the Cheat Menu enter the word "Venom"

Hints

Censored codes
Enter an obscene word as a code. Spider-Man will appear in one of his costumes, punch the code, and another word will appear.

Characters speak out
Select a character in the gallery in special mode and press Square or Circle after Stan Lee finishes talking. Some characters will say something or perform an action.

Fighting symbiotes
If you are low on health and on the subway or fighting a large group of symbiotes, constantly create web-domes until they are all gone, or the sub stops.

Defeating Carnage on the hard difficulty setting
Immediately web-jerk him into the sonic field, and keep webbing him until he dies. Do this with the Symbiote Spider-Man or Captain Universe costumes, as they have unlimited webbing

Sub-Mariner
Complete the game in What If mode, and be sure to get him on your screen when fighting Carnage. He just stands on a rock and watches. Unfortunately, Stan Lee provides no commentary for him

Jack O' Lantern Hideout
Play the police chase level. Web-sling over the first skyscraper to the top. There is an opening. Go in there to find spidey armor, a comic cover and Jack O' Lantern's hideout.

Police Chopper Chase
Climb the building until you see the captain America billboard. Go to the checkpoint and climb to the right of the building, then upwards. Now you can see the billboard.

Bank Approach
At the beginning of this level you stand in front of a building. Look right and you will see a taller one. At its bottom is an opening. Go into there to get a goodie.

Grooving Spider Man
At the cheat menu enter GBHSRSPM and select the "stop the bomb" level. Go into the room that unlocks all offices and beat the two guys. Then go into the office next to your room and look for the big tile on the floor. Let Spider Man walk on it and he will start dancing!

Killing Scorpion without touch
Throw furniture at him. The bigger the items are, the more damage you can cause on him.

Kill symbiotes easy
You have to play at the basement of bugle level. Enable the invisibility or use the captain universe suit. When a symbiote is coming close to you, walk into a furnace. The symbiote will follow you. If you do this near to the generator, they will all be burned.

Easy kill Carnage
Fight him in the dome-shaped room. Grab him and press Circle + Triangle. Make sure you have a good hold on him and press Circle. He will fly into the sonic-bubble. Repeat this for several times till he dies.

Proper Spidey
When typing in the cheat menu, type something like "Arse", and Spiderman will appear at the bottom of the screen and punch that word!

Secret Blimp Level
To get this level in What If Mode on Police Chopper Chase Level A yellow blimp should appear with the words spider man going across swing on to it using L1 target mode and your in the level.

Seek & Ye Shall Find
When you are past the two fans in the water front warehouse just before you jump down into the next level jump over the gap and press punch at the old door and it will fall over follow the short passage way and you will get a web cartridge and a health.

Beat Rhino
When you start to fight Rhino, don't fight him by punching and kicking him because you will lose. There will be 4 little electric posts and a lot of barrels, stand by one of the electric posts and face Rhino, and when he starts to charge, wait until the last minute and jump forward. If you do this right, he will run into the post, and he will get a real SHOCKER. Do this for each post and you won't have to lay a finger on him. Keep on doing this until his strength runs out. The barrels work also but it doesn't take a lot of health out of Rhino.

Shortcut
Start a game on hard mode until you get to the stage where the annoying police helicopter is chasing you (the first time you see the helicopter, just after you defeat scorpion). Keep running/web slinging past a couple of buildings and you should see an orange balloon. Swing across to the balloon and it will go to the menu where you can save or continue. When you start
playing, keep dodging the machinegun until spider-man automatically jumps off the helicopter. It will go to the continue/save menu. When you start playing, you will find that you have skipped the whole of the last stage and you will be on the stage where you have to dodge the missiles on the half built building (or maybe it is half being knocked down.

Spidey Armor and some other stuff
In the sewer caverns level, you can get the Spidey Armor suit to absorb damage (useful too, since the subway car is right after). In the area of the sewer caverns where you have to use your web aiming ability to swing between the thin pipes, you'll notice a waterfall across from the two pipes in the wall spouting water. Aim at the waterfall when you're on the nearest pipe to it and your indicator will turn green. You'll then swing into this room behind the waterfall containing the Spidey Armor and some other stuff (I've only tried this on the easy mode).

Comic Book Locations

1	Bank Approach	Book one can be found on top of the Fantastic Four Building.
2	Hostage Situation	Book two can be found under the chair in the cubicle. The cubicle is located on the second half of the level.
3	Stop the Bomb!	After freeing the hostages, return to the hallway just prior to the first security door.
4	Race to the Bugle	When the game cuts to the FMA of the two henchmen, you can find the comic on the side of the big building.
5	Spidey Vs. Scorpion	After destroying all of the furniture in the room, the comic will appear in the middle.
6	Police Chopper Chase	On the last building look behind the box on the right-front.
7	Building Top Chase	This comic is located inside the Goblin Crane Lair.
8	Scale The Girders	On the left side of the building on the ledge.
9	Police Evaded	The building with the skylights that get destroyed has the comic. Shoot the broken class. It'll be located behind the class.
10	Spidey Vs. Rhino	After destroying every barrel in the level you can find the comic in the middle of Electric Pylons.
11	Catch Venom	Located on the Incomplete building.
12	Catch Venom	Locate on the roof of one of the buildings.
13	Spidey Vs. Venom	Lift the car and toss it aside. The comic will appear.
14	Sewer Entrance	This comic is located inside the first hallway. Walk to the Cavern and then return.
15	Sewer Cavern	You'll find this one behind the waterfall.
16	Sewer Plant	Walk down the hallway and make your first left, walk to the end.
17	Hidden Switches	Press the Fourth switch and return to the third switch.
18	Tunnel Crawl	Hit the switch on the first box, the comic will be in the second box.
19	The Lizard's Maze	Talk to the lizard, the comic will appear near by.
20	Symbiotes Infest Bugle	This comic is located in the vent with the Hostage.
21	Elevator Descent	Walk down the Hallway, it'll be at the bottom-left.
22	Stop the Presses	Lift and throw the stack of paper located on the second half of the level.
23	Bugle's Basement	Shoot all four leaking pipes. The comic will become revealed when the furnace on the left explodes.
24	Spidey Vs. Mysterio	Destroy all of the target on the first stage, the comic will become visible on the bottom level.
25	Waterfront Warehouse	Look in the alcove.
26	Waterfront warehouse	At the end of the level, just prior to opening the vent that leads to the next level, you must locate the hidden room behind the grating. It's the last grating before the end of the level.
27	Underwater Trench	In the second machinery room you'll find a hidden switch. Return to the part where all of the gun turrets are (at the beginning of the level) and access the secret door.
28	Stopping The Fog	In the center column, a small room will be located in the bottom portion.
29	Spidey Vs. Doc Ock	Be ready for this one, it'll appear after Doc Ock's shield regenerates the first time. It'll only appear for a few seconds, so grab it quick.
30	Spidey Vs. Carnage	In the middle of the bubble it'll appear and disappear and then appear and then disappear.
31	Spidey Vs. Monster-Ock	You'll find it at the first bend in the pipe.
32	Spidey Vs. Monster-Ock	You'll find it about 3/4 of the way through the level.

Costume Location and Special Powers

Spider-man 2099	Collect every Comic throughout the game.	This costume will grant you the ability of Double Damage.
Symbiote Spider-man	Finish the game in any difficulty level.	This costume will grant you Unlimited Webbing.
Captain Universe	Beat the game on Hard.	This costume will grant you multiple abilities: Double Damage, Unlimited Webbing and Invincibility
Spidey Unlimited	Beat the game a second time with any difficulty level selected.	This costume will grant you the power of Stealth. Press the L2 button at any time (while in this suit) to become invisible.
Scarlet Spidey	Beat Rhino on level 3 area 1.	No special abilities
Ben Reilly	Beat level 4 area 2.	No special abilities.
Quick Change Spidey	Achieve a score of OVER 10,000 points in the Zip-Line training.	Wearing this suit means you will be restricted to two web cartridges
Peter Parker	Locate the hidden Kraven room in "Item Hunt". Peter will be inside.	This suit, also, restricts you to two web cartridges.
