Medium difficulty
At the difficulty selection screen, press Up, Square, R1, L2(2), Up. Alternatively, beat challenge mode on the easy difficulty setting.

Hard difficulty
At the difficulty selection screen, press L2, Down, L1, R1. Alternatively, beat challenge mode on the medium difficulty setting.

Expert Level
At the options screen enter L2, Down, L1, R1 or beat challenge mode on hard

Secret options
Beat "Challenge" mode on the easy difficulty level to unlock a secret option to make people small. Beat "Challenge" mode on the medium difficulty level to unlock a secret option for more speed.

Quick start 
When the word "Go" is spoken when your character is at the starting line, press X (with the default controller setting). If timed correctly, your start will be faster than normal.

Faster game
Beat challenge mode on the medium difficulty setting to unlock a secret option for more speed

New Outfits
At the character select screen enter hold L1 or R1 and select a character

Get Small Players
Finish the Challenge mode on easy level to get a option for small players

Shortcut in Jungle
Jump through next to last waterfall in the Jungle and you will be at the finish line.

Shortcut in Lava Level
In the lava level soon after the finish line, there is a hole all the way to your right right after you jump over all of those lava pits. Run onto the last booster before the hole in the wall and jump into it. This hole cuts across part of the level.

Shortcut on Moon
The shortcut is directly after the split tunnel starts on your left. Run to your right, then jump at the wall on your left after you pass the ramp.

Small people
Complete challenge mode on easy difficulty to unlock a bonus option to make the people smaller.

Tyrannosaurus Rex
Use the Elephant to complete challenge mode on hard difficulty to unlock a bonus option for more
speed.

Alternate character appearance
Hold L1 or R1 and choose a character
