All weapons
Pause either R-Type game. Hold L2 and press Right, Up, Left, Right, Down, Left, Up, Right.
Now press Triangle, Square, X, Circle, or R1 to get all weapons.
Level select
Highlight either R-Type or R-Type 2 at the main screen. Quickly press L2 10 times, R2 10
times. Start the game and pause. You should now see a 'stage select' option.
Speed select
Pause either R-Type game. Hold L2 and press Right, Up, Right, Up, Down, Left, Down, Left.
Now press Circle to increase or X to decrease the speed.
Slow motion mode
Pause the game in R-Type or R-Type II. Then, hold L2 and press Right, Up, Right, Up,
Down, Left, Down, Left, X.
Infinite credits
Description: While playing R-Types for playstation1 ,during game play press
pause. While the game is paused press the select button and u will hear a sound
confirming that the code is entered. The amount of times u tap select is the #
of credits u gain. Ex.Tap select 10 times=10 cedits,5 times=5 credits, etc. This
code works on R-Types for playstation1,u can use it for both games in R-Types.
