Hints & Tips
USA track shortcut
While driving in evolution mode, go to Home and
select your car. Go to the USA track and look for an orange and yellow
barrier sticking up next to a small building, which is next to a small
parking area. When you drive into the parking area, keep driving straight
through the trees. There are two barriers, take the one at the end of the
S-Turn street. To find it on the other side, look for a T-intersection with
a street light and a fence. In between the fences are a few bushes and a
small tree. Enter there to come out the other side.
Japan Shipyards Shortcut
Near the beginning of the track there is a little gap
in the road. Go down into the gap and you'll be over halfway finished with the
track.
USA Desert Valley Shortcut
There will be a gas station on the right side of the
track. It is somewhere after you have completed half of the track. Go right
beside the gas station on its right side and there will be a dirt road behind
it. It will save you a few seconds.
France track shortcut
While driving in evolution mode, go to Home and
select your car. Go to the France track and look for a parking area with a
large catering truck. Drive in front of the truck to take the shortcut. To
find the other side, look for an area where the road is wider than normal
with two small white barriers. There will also be two small trees and one
large tree and some bushes at this location
Coastal Village
In the village you have a T-crossing point. Next to the entrance you have got
two green fences on each side with traffic signs that say that you can't go in
this road. On the other side it' s also the same.
French Track
As you drive on the road you will find a T-crossing point but sometimes you cant
go entirely in to this road because their are plates with arrows on the road.
Next to the road is a small parking. When you drive on the parking you see
several bushes. When you drive trough these bushes you will find a dusty road.
To find it on the other side You have to look for a T-crossing point with bushes
in front of it and then you'll have to drive trough these bushes.
Scotland track shortcut
While driving in evolution mode, go to Home and
select your car. Go to the Scotland track and look for an area where the
road is wider than normal between 2 buildings. It is a brick road, and
usually has a police car parked there. To find the other side, look for an
area with a wide open road and three large cranes. The shortcut will be
between the buildings, just before or after the small lighthouse.
Easier money
When you complete evolution mode you will receive 10
million in credits. There are only three eras. For an easier game in the later
stages, buy the race car of the era as soon as possible and run the three lap
race with it as many times as you can. Then, run all the other races of the era
and buy as many of the race cars as you can afford (550 in the first area 517 in
the second). It only takes about 2 1/2 minutes per race. This should result in
few million in credits. Buy more 517's at 200,000 credits each. Then go to the
last era, Modern, and sell each of the 517's for 420,000 credits. Note: If you
start off in the first age and do this with the 550's, you can buy them for only
60,000 each and only sell a few in the second era -- when you reach the Modern
era, you should be able to cash them in for millions. If you race the cars at
all there not worth as much later. To keep the maximum value of your cars,
choose one to race and do not use the others.
Tip: Do not, repeat, do not, brake while in the midst of a turn, particularly
when driving older automobiles. The EA version of an antique Porsche has a
tendency, and probably rightly so, to seriously rock your world if you do,
sending you into a drift from which you may not recover. Instead, brake early,
turn smoothly, and accelerate on the exit.
Tip: There's no better way of ridding oneself of an annoying police officer than
by nudging him into a passing motorist or solid roadside object.
Tip: Alternate routes are not always shortcuts. If you find yourself
consistently slow on a given course, check out all the routes available to you
before resorting to a different setup.
Tip: Go with the "front bumper" camera for the best results. Here, the
program doesn't have to pump out cockpit and driver animations, so the frame
rate is generally faster. Also, you get a better sense of the speed at which you
are traveling, so you'll be better prepared to slow down for upcoming turns.
Tip: Torque rules. If you find yourself in a section where you can use a higher
gear with lower RPM or a lower gear with high revs, go with the latter every
time.
How to do a 180 degrees turn
For this step it requires a lot of practice. Initially you have to build up a
high speed, then you have to press either left and hand break or right and hand break
(you have to keep your hand on the direction button while doing this). After you
have done this, your car will turn in the direction you were coming from.
Hint
If you want to have more money you can buy an
old wreck and upgrade it and then sell it. In this way you will slowly get money
added. Buy an '50 356 Coupe Ferdinand or Cabriolet r an '56 550A Spider or an
'73 911Carrera RS or an '78 911 Turbo 3.6. Keep them until the modern era and if
you need money you can sell one of them. And you have many money (this hint
works with almost all classic and golden Era cars)
In the evolution mode you start in the Classic Era. Only in the last tournament
you will have to pay Entry Fee. So if you are smart you keep on driving in the
356B Challenge. In the evolution mode finish the 356 cup and go to Used Cars buy
an 356 1500 then drive the cup again and again and again until you have the
money you want. This also works with the other cups in the Classic Era When
playing in the evolution mode go to garage then to Used Cars buy an wreck and
repair and upgrade it and then sell it.

didn't specify them all correct, so here are the corrected codes and they should
all work. Enter the codes in Main Menu (press all Buttons of a line together,
