Instant death with all firearms
Enter the options screen and choose the
"Credits" selection. Then, press L1, Triangle, Up, Down, Circle(2),
Triangle, Square, Down, R1.
Instant death with all Melee weapons
Enter the options screen and choose the "Credits" selection. Then, press L1, Triangle, Up, Down, Circle(2), Triangle, Square, Down, L1 to kill any enemy with one-hit from the smack-jack, knife, or brass knuckle.
Suicide mode
Enter the options screen and choose the
"Credits" selection. Then, press Down(3), Triangle, Down(3), Square,
Left, Right to increase the difficulty and make enemies much harder to kill.
One hit kill with firearms
Select "Credits" at the
options screen then press L1, Triangle, Up, Down, Circle(2), Triangle, Square,
Down, R1.
Invincibility
Select "Credits" at the options
screen then press L1, Triangle, Up, Down, Circle(2), Triangle, Square, Right,
Square.

Beat last boss with hana easy
All you have to do is stand right up against the flame on the right and the
bosses attacks wont hit you so all you have to do is shoot the ghost thingies until
they leave the money then burn three of the bills to kill the boss the end
Puzzle Solutions
Here's some help with some of the puzzles in "fear effect"....
Disc One: Sign Key
Using this key is NOT as difficult as you may think. After defeating the
boss, head to the terminal located on the wall to the left of the room.
Select the sign key when "use" pops up and hit the
"triangle" button. You'll see a screen with four lit up
buttons with Japanese symbols on them. Go back outside and you'll notice
a sign with 4 symbols above your head. There's the solution to the
puzzle.
Disc Two: Train Code
Near the end of disc two, Hana will end up on
a train. Her job is to start it. You'll read a note left by a
henchman. On the top right corner of the note will be a a code number,
0008C224B2N4. Just enter it backwards, beginning with 4N2B. A
green light will come on next to where you entered the number to confirm it.
Disc Three: The Glass Ceiling
After breaking Glas out of the kitchen, you'll be switched to Deke on the
rooftop. You'll start right in front of a glass ceiling. If you
attempt to walk straight across, Glas will fall and die. Here's how to
avoid that. A helicopter will pass 4 times and illuminate the glass.
Each time, you see a different pattern of broken window panes. Simply
use the trail with no broken glass to cross. There are 5 sets of 8 windows,
for a total of 40. The "*" represents a broken window.
The "O" represents safe territory. The "P" is the
only safe way across. The solution is as follows...

The Fifth Ending
Go through the game on the "Hard" setting. At the end, you'll
now be able to select the middle option, (the one with Hana and Glas aiming at
each other). Choose it, and they'll work together.
Getting past the Helicopter with
Royce
Having trouble getting past roof top, in which the helicopter keeps shooting
you down? To get past, when your climbing the ladder, without going to the
top, just wait there, and the helicopter will shoot and leave. Now run to the
other side as fast you can. That easy!

Select "Credits" at the options screen then press L1, Triangle, Up,
Down, Circle(2), Triangle, Square, Down, L1.
Rapid fire
Select "Credits" at the options screen then press L1, Triangle, Up,
Down, Circle(2), Up(3), Down.
5 different endings
There are 3 different endings in this game, it depends on which character you
choose in the last fight
choose hana:
Hana shoots glas, you kill lam and the king of hell, wee ming lives
choose glas:
Glas shoot hana in the head and fights wee ming and kills her
hana dies:
game over but hana still lives
glas dies:
game over, er I forgot (anyway when you die nothing much is explained)
everybody lives:
everyone live only if you finish it in HARD mode, glas lets hana take care of
things, then you fight lam amd kihg of hell, the you go back up outside the
restaurant where you find deke and glas' arm is back
