Easy Healing
Enter and leave an area where fuel
mushrooms or food mushrooms are present to have them regenerate. Collect these
mushrooms, and when you get the Converter Item you will be able to transform
them into food and fuel for healing and chainsaw use.
Boss Guide
Help Ash defeat the bosses with these handy tips
General Tips:
Always say a one liner after landing a blow to a boss.
Also, remember that each death will waste precious fuel, so try to do away with
the boss as quickly as possible.
Giant Spider:
Rev up your chainsaw and prepare
for the attack after the boss glows. Attack the main body when he charges if at
all possible.
Giant Wolverine:
Entice the boss to run into
the formation of 3 pillars. Chainsaw the pillars to have rocks fall on him and
do damage.
Treant:
After taking a slice of the tree,
you'll be attacked by killer roots. When this happens run away and fire shots at
the boss. Don't linger after the chainsaw attack or you will be hit.
Skeletal Ash:
Hit him with the shotty from
afar or the chainsaw up close.
Evil Ash (First Form):
Charge in close and
attack with the chainsaw repeatedly.
Evil Ash (Final Form):
Attack Ash when he is in
a mistral, transparent form with the chainsaw, which should hopefully deal
enough damage to kill this tough customer.
Defeat hillbilly granny spider
After giving her the amulet she turns into a
giant spider. knowing your instincts by the size of the thing your going to
think it's going to kill you. Chase her and when she swoops down to attack you
will notice she turns green while she is in this color you are to open up a can
of whoop ass on her! follow these steps and she will be dead in no time.

Allow the opening movie sequence to finish and leave the game alone at the
"push start" screen. Ash will start making comments.
More mushrooms
As mushrooms appear collect them and move off the screen. Return to take more as
the mushrooms reappear. Grab as many mushrooms as you can until they no longer
reappear.
More large med-kits
While fighting a Deadite or Hellbilly, start the chainsaw and slash at them.
After a few hits, you should stab the chainsaw into them and hold the creature
there. Use the ax and hit the Deadite or Hellbilly until they die. They will
usually leave behind a large med-kit.
Recurring Mushrooms
By the barbecue pit on the campgrounds, you will find a red or brown mushroom.
Leave the BBQ pit and return...another red or brown mushroom will appear.
This will happen usually no more than seven or eight times before you have to
proceed.
Defeating Wolverine Troop Leader
To defeat the Wolverine Troop Leader, run to one of the four poles that are
around you, the leader will follow you. When you get to one and when the leader
is behind you or around it, Hit it, and the rocks will fall on him...keep doing
this until he is dead and then go to the big pile of rocks to leave. You will
then obtain a key to the Archery gate<
Out of Gas?
If your out of chainsaw fuel and you need to fight an opponent, keep on
pressing L2 and X at the same time. The chainsaw machine will keep on turning on
and off and with the help of the button X you keep on attacking on the enemy.
After attacking him eight or nine times your chainsaw will get stuck in his
stomach. After it gets in press X ones more time and you will hear a sound like
"swallow this" then voila he's dead.
Broken record
In the cabin's fruit cellar, move directly in front of the record player and
push O. The music will stop. Use the O in combination with Triangle, and you'll
have a "rappin" Ash.
Killing Evils With no chainsaw fuel

No matter if chainsaw fuel is finished. You might have noticed that after fuel
is finished then by pressing R2 Chainsaw doesn't starts however it takes
only imitative start In order to kill an evil Just press R2+X buttons
simultaneously and keep pressing until you see "CAMPBELL" Drilling the
damn evils, this is because drilling doesn't require fuel.
