Armored Core: Master Of Arena

New Weapon
At menu press X, O, Triangle, Square, O, X, Triangle, O, X, O triangle, and press start then select. This will give you a nuclear weapon.

Hidden AC Head
It can be found in the Mission DESTROY BERSERK MTs. The head is located in a storeroom near the path to the computer. you can destroy the crates or jump over the crates to the left side of the door.

Alternate emblem backgrounds 
Highlight an emblem and enter the edit screen. Then, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Select.

Change pilot name 
Enter the garage and highlight the "Change AC Name" option. Now hold L2 + R2 + Right, then hold X and quickly hold Square.

No limit bonus 
Complete over 100 sorties with a greater than 90% win record and an over all rating of 98% or more. Then, unlimited leg weight points, core weight points, and generator output points will be allowed.
Note: Ignore the overweight warning.

Death bonuses 
Intentionally die with less than -50,000 credits. Then, the game will restart from the first level with all items gained in the previous game. If done correctly, your pilot name will change to "Rebel" followed by three random numbers. The first time this is done, the radar will become a grid system and will detect incoming missiles. The fourth time this is done, the rear weapon may be fired while in motion. The sixth time that this is done, available energy will be doubled. Additionally, a ball may be fired from the laser blade by firing the blade, then pressing Jump.

Fixed Camera
You can switch to a fixed camera angle by pressing Circle + X + Start. 

Mech View:
To switch to first-person view during play, press Triangle + Square + Start at the same time then unpause the game. To return to third-person view, just pause the game then unpause it. 

Easy Credits
Go into any mission that gives you credits in advance and as soon as you enter abort the mission.

Firing the Lazerblade
You can fire a beam of light from your lazerblade. To do this, press CIRCLE to use the lazerblade, then as the arm comes down hit X. It has no lock so you really need to have good aim. If done correctly it will fire a crescent shaped beam.

First-Person View
To switch to first-person view, press Triangle + Square + Start at the same time then unpause the game. To return to third-person view, just pause the game then unpause it.

Human Plus Enhancements
Start a new game, and fail all the missions you play until you are below -50,000 credits in debt. An FMV will be played, and you will start the game over with a clean slate. Doing this gives you special abilities, the first time it gives you gain the ability to throw your laser blade. The second time you receive a grid radar, the fourth time it gives you the ability to fire back weapons with humanoid legs while standing. The sixth gives you 2x energy for boosting, and weapons. Finally on the sixth time your booster drain is cut in half, thus your boosters fire twice as long. Enjoy!

Secret Item Locations
Here's the location of the Secret Items.

1  Destroy plus escapee: On a ledge of the building about 3 levels down.
2  Guard wharf warehouse: Turn around at the start and steal the radar you are guarding.
3  Destroy fuel depot: In the 2nd room on the shelf at the back, destroy the fuel canisters, then go up there and search the rear corner.
4  Retake air cleaner: Inside a grate on the ceiling.
5  Kill struggle leader: At the bottom of the area where the floor explodes, search the rear of the floor of the chasm.
6  Exterminate organisms: Search the rear of the queen's chamber.
7  Guard freight train: Destroy one of the boxes at the loading area.
8  Destroy intruders: In a niche under the topmost bridge.
9  Guard factory entrance: In a "RED" corner of the map.
10 Secret factory recon: In a "RED" corner of the map.
11 Eliminate strikers: At the start, turn around and destroy one of the armored cars

Beat 9-Ball easy
Have the plasma cannon from the first armored core and wait for 9-Ball to use the rocket launcher then unload with the plasma cannon some time he move out the way after the first two hits

Continue from Armored Core: Project Phantasma
Insert a memory card with a saved game from Armored Core: Project Phantasma and the file should appear yellow at the loading screen. Load that file to start with the same parts and money that were obtained in that game.

Energy Shooting Machine Gun
Defeat Bibs in the Sub-Arena. This machine gun is very powerful but its ammo is a short 500 rounds.

Flame Shell
Defeat one of the earlier opponents in the Master Arena. The Flame Shell shoots a rocket that sets the enemy on fire and reduces AP slowly.

Radar-12 head
Defeat the third opponent in the Master Arena to get this head. The Radar-12 is the best head in the game but looks different.

Mine Dispenser
Successfully complete the Fromsoft Ex Arena to get a Mine Dispenser. This part shoots out floating proximity mines.

Special Rocket
Successfully complete the Guest Ex Arena to get a Special Rocket. This part shoots out a blue object that disables the opponent's FCS.

Stealth unit
Successfully complete the Master Ex Arena to get the stealth unit (back weapon).

Enhanced Balancer Optional part
Successfully complete the Champion Ex Arena to get the Enhanced Balancer Optional part

New laserbalde
Get PROGTECH to sponsor you in the Sub-Arena. You will receive 50,000 credits and the new laserblade, which shoots a laserblade projectile on its own.

New laser-powered sniper rifle
Get PROGTECH to sponsor you in the Arena. You will receive 50,000 credits and the new laser sniper rifle, which does 3800 damage (more than twice that of the Karasawa laser rifle).

Bonus Ex Arenas
At the Ex Arena selection screen, you will see four sets of question marks at the bottom of the screen. These arenas are unlocked after you complete a certain requirement:
FROMSOFTWARE is unlocked after you complete all leg-specific arenas. It features a series of ACs made by From Software employees.
Guest and Champion are unlocked after you complete all of the missions (do not forget to save when prompted). Guest is an arena that contains Japanese magazine publisher's AC creations. Champion is a series of ACs made by finalists from a Armored Core: Project Phantasma Tourney held in Japan last year.
Master is unlocked when you get 100% in the overall under System. Master is an arena that has extremely dangerous ACs.

Hints & Tips

Destroy Berserk MTs level
Get past the first locked gate and find the door on the left side that follows it. Follow the corridor until you find a room full of gray crates. Do not shoot the crates or you will blow up the item. Maneuver around the crates until you find a corner with a head part on the ground.

Cavern Invasion level
There is a hole in the ceiling at the top of the first room. Fly up to it and take a left. There will be a very large room with guns mounted in the ceilings. Do not shoot at the guns. Instead, go directly for the left corner in the back, where an item will appear on the ground. This is the shoulder mounted disc shooter.

Hidden Back Part
In the mission: Cavern invasion - after destroying the sub arena member check your map there should be the entrance you used to enter the cavern where you fight the ac at and another exit. Take the other exit and look for a big room with several roof mounted guns. At the back of that room is a new back weapon.

Hidden Parts
On the level where you must find and destroy a Raven inside of a cavern, there is a hidden part. On the way to where the Raven is, you will reacha fork going left and right. If you head right, you will find the Raven. If you follow the path left, you will enter a room that has a part in the corner. The part is a new shoulder mounted disk-launching weapon. This is one of the three hidden parts in this game. One of the other hidden parts has already been sent in, and is also in this category. The third hidden part is found in the mission where you must assist yellow MT's being attacked by black MT's. On this map, the best way to get the additional part is to kill _5_ of the enemy MT's, leaving one alive. This will allow you to have enough time to find the part. In the area, there is a building with columns in front of it. If you attack the building enough, it will explode, exposing a hole. Jump in and proceed forward. You will reach an intersection! . Head left, and you will find a dead end. Attack the wall, and it will explode. In front of you lies the last hidden part.

Secret FCS location
The secret FCS in Armored Core MOA is located in the mission Assist MTs. First leave one enemy alive after that is done locate the building that looks like a bank or a church (on your map it will have a tunnel under it). Blow that building up and go down into the hole beneath it head straight until you come to a junction take the left path. when you reach what looks like a dead end shoot the wall but be careful you don't destroy the FCS and after the wall is destroyed wall walk into the shrine and up to the altar and take the FCS after that get back out of there and kill the last enemy

Sword Wave
Note: Plus or Rebel is required for this trick. Have a light sword equipped, then press X, Circle while the sword is still out. If done correctly, this will fire a very powerful crescent beam that can do over 2800 AP worth of damage with the Moonlight.

Find Prize Parts in the Arena/Sub-Arena
If you have played Armored Core: Project Phantasma, you will know that you will get a free part when you defeat a certain ranking Raven. However, unlike Project Phantasma, Master Of Arena will throw more ranking Ravens at you even after you defeat all of the Ravens listed. Keep checking back in the Arena/Sub-Arena to make sure that you have fought everyone to be sure that you do not miss any prize parts.

Prizes in the Leg Specific Ex Arena
If you go into the Ex Arena, you will see that there are four arenas that are leg specific. This means that you cannot take a caterpillar (tank) style AC into the humanoid arena. The good news about these leg specific arenas is that as you conquer each one, then you will get a leg part that is from the arena type you just completed (humanoid-humanoid, four leg-four leg, reverse joint-reverse joint, caterpillar-caterpillar).

Hints for Hidden Weapons:

Plasma Cannon
This weapon is on the Cavern Invasion mission. When you start this mission, boost up to the first big dome. You will see a hole. Go into it. Now when you're in, keep going straight until you can make a left turn. Make the turn, and you should see a big storage room with nothing in it. The Plasma Cannon is in the northeast, or far right corner of this room.

Stop! A head!
In the level where you must destroy a CPU which is producing uncontrollable MKs, find a room filled with storage containers. When you first walk inside, turn 1/4 turn left and fly above the crates. Fall down and check the floor for the head.

Hidden FCS (The hardest part to find) :
Go into the Assist MT's level and kill 8 of 9 MT's and keep at least one ally alive. This way, you won't have any trouble any time soon. Go to the north east area and you will find some sort of building. BLOW IT UP! Go into this strange area, that is not on the map, and walk around a bit until you reach the end of a wall. There are 2 walls and one is a decoy, but try to blow up both walls. Then you will come into an illuminated room and you will see the FCS. GOOD LUCK RAVEN!

Mine Dispenser:
Beat the Fromsoft Ex Arena to get a Mine Dispenser. This part shoots out floating proximity mines.

Special Rocket:
Beat the Guest Ex Arena to get a Special Rocket. This part shoots out a blue object that disables the opponent's FCS.

Stealth Unit:
Beat the Master Ex Arena to get the stealth unit (back weapon). This item will take you off the radar.

Enhanced Balancer Optional Part:
Beat the Champion Ex Arena to get the Enhanced Balancer Optional part. The Enhanced Balancer Optional part reduces recoil (the backwards motion) that occurs from firing a heavy weapon (grenade launcher, dual cannon, etc.).

Get PROGTECH to sponsor you in the Sub-Arena. You will receive 50,000 credits and the new laserblade, which shoots a laserblade projectile on its own.

Cheap Wins
There is an easy way to beat many of the hard opponents in the Sub-Arenas. Simply choose the very fast spider legs. And outfit yourself with either, a laser cannon or grenade launcher, along with a few other high damage weapons. Now choose the arena that looks like a parking garage. Keep sliding or flying backward and firing at them. They start a good distance from you and can't go up because of the low ceiling. It's like shooting fish in a barrel.

More Cheapness
A tip for the extremely tough bosses in the extra arenas is to get buils an AC that is fairly light with extremely strong boost. Pick the town arena and pick a corner and run for it. When you're almost out of bounds, turn around so that you're facing the enemy and boost up, staying as high in the air as long as possible. Eventually, the enemy will go out of bounds by itself.

Free Money
First find a mission that pays you in advance. Then go into the mission but quit right after the mission starts. If you did it right you get the advance money without doing anything

More Arenas

From Software Arena
This arena is unlocked once you beat all the leg-specific arenas. The From Software arena is full of ACs made by some of the employees at From Software.

Guest and Champion Arenas
These arenas are unlocked once you beat all of the missions (remember to save afterwards). The Guest arena is home to several Japanese magazine publisher's AC creations.
The Champion arena is a series of ACs made by the finalists from a Armored Core: Project Phantasma championship held last year in Japan .

Master Arena
This arena is unlocked when you get 100% overall in the System. This arena; I like to classify as Code Black, due to the sheer power and skill possessed by the ACs in this arena. Rookies need not apply!

Out of Bounds
In the arena mode fly up until you get warned about leaving the area and the opponent will go higher and leave. This is not as sure with heavy AC's, but with light ac's its a sure thing!

No Elbow Room
In Arena and EX Arena you can defeat most opponents by fighting in the second location. The ceiling is low and challengers can't run as easy.

More Opponents
To unlock more opponents in the Sub-Arena, beat the game. Then after you have beaten 9-Ball (and saved!!) go back to the Sub-Arena rankings and there will be more opponents.

Quick and Easy Win Against Nine Ball
To defeat nine ball in the final stage simply equip the flamethrower as your right arm weapon before you except the mission. Then once you drop down to fight Nine Ball at the end of the stage immediately fire and hold the flamethrower. Nine Ball will charge at you right away so slide backwards with your boosters and Nine ball will follow you and melt himself in the process

Quick Kill For 9 Ball Mission
When you fight him the first time you really don't have to fight him... all you have to do is fly straight to the door near the ceiling and leave before he gets a shot off. When you have to fight the two 9 ball AC's, use the double plasma shooters, and the grenade arms to kill them easy. when you have to fight the advanced 9 ball all you have to do is glide backwards and shoot him twice with the grenade arms... and wala... -1 AC... and he has a really cool video following his death.

A Few Strategies:
Use the Karawasaw and a pair of fast humanoid feet to beat the fast ACs. Be aware of your energy level and also equip the lightest core that has 17 slots for optional parts. Then equip the option part that says that "cuts the energy consumption in half". Use the multi-warhead missiles to beat the enemies faster. Use the green rifle that has a range of 11000. It has a wide range for shooting.
